The emergence of international principles concerning research ethics requires an independent multidisciplinary committee to evaluate research protocols involving the human person. In France, compliance with these international principles depends, in part, on the "Committees for the Protection of Persons" (CPP). Currently, the regulation of research involving the human person constitutes in France the framework of CPPs but also the keystone on which their role is based. It requires that they ensure that the "conditions of validity" of the research are respected. It does not appear neither in their title nor in legislation that they are compelled to give an "ethical" opinion about research protocols. In this context, what is the meaning of the CPPs in research? Are they research ethics boards? How do members perceive it and invest their roles in carrying out the missions under the CPP? This research was carried out on a qualitative approach through semi-directional interviews. Nine members of the CPP from Île-de-France were interviewed, including two doctors, two presidents, a hospital pharmacist, three lawyers, two user representatives and a psychologist. All those interviewed made it possible to represent five out of ten CPPs in Île-de-France. The results showed that despite a "bureaucratization of ethics", CPPs members are working to maintain their independence throught their volunteerism. This resistance is the cause of the refusal of the members to limit their mission to the acceptability of the research from a legal point of view. Their "ethical" thinking cannot be limited to criteria guaranteeing legal research or even a normative application of the principles of research ethics, under the guise of ethic. ; L'émergence des principes internationaux, concernant l'éthique de la recherche, impose de passer par un comité pluridisciplinaire indépendant pour évaluer les protocoles de recherche impliquant la personne humaine. En France, le respect de ces principes internationaux dépend, en partie, des « Comités de Protection des Personnes » (CPP). Actuellement en France, la réglementation de la recherche impliquant la personne humaine constitue l'encadrement des CPP mais aussi la base sur laquelle repose leur rôle. Elle prévoit qu'ils s'assurent du respect des « conditions de validité » de la recherche. Il n'apparaît ni dans leur titre, ni dans les textes de loi, qu'ils doivent rendre un avis « éthique » au sujet des protocoles de recherche. Dans ce contexte, quel sens donner au CPP dans la recherche ? Sont-ils des comités d'éthique de la recherche ? Comment les membres le perçoivent-ils et investissent-ils leurs rôles dans l'exercice des missions qui relèvent des CPP ? Cette recherche s'est faite sur une approche qualitative par l'intermédiaire d'entretiens semi-directifs. Neuf membres de CPP d'Île-de-France ont été interrogés, notamment deux médecins dont deux présidents, un pharmacien hospitalier, trois juristes, deux représentants d'usagers et un psychologue. L'ensemble des personnes interrogées a permis de représenter cinq CPP d'Île-de-France sur dix. Les résultats ont montré que malgré une « bureaucratisation de l'éthique », les membres des CPP oeuvrent pour un maintien de leur indépendance à travers leur bénévolat. Cette résistance est l'origine du refus des membres de résumer leur mission à l'acceptabilité de la recherche d'un point de vue de la loi. Leur réflexion « éthique » ne peut se résumer à des critères garantissant la recherche au regard de la loi ou même à une application normative des principes de l'éthique de la recherche, sous couvert de l'éthique.

Africa, because of its weakness, its failures at many levels, and all the difficulties it faces in meeting the global standards of democracy, has over the years become the ideal receptacle for all kinds of experimentation on the issue of development.And it was only from a public finance crisis, the most emblematic manifestation of which was that of public debt, which had already begun a decade earlier, that Africans referred to structural adjustment policies. Strongly encouraged by international organizations, these countries have adopted decentralization as an effective means of good governance.Despite its adaptation in the various constitutions, decentralization really began only about fifteen years ago in many African countries such as Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal and Cameroon. Decentralization thus appears to be one of the best means of modernizing the centralized state, promoting citizen participation and good governance. It could, together with good governance, shed light on how the incumbent authorities manage state's resources.Seen as a means of economic growth and development, decentralization and good governance, according to the observations of recent years, do not seem to have the same effects in the developing countries, still tribal and especially very poor and plagued by many problems. This model of territorial organization has just become a condition for receiving international assistance.What are the causes of the failure of decentralization in West Africa, and what are the means these countries possess in order to succeed in changing the democratic ideals still locked in ancestral rites and Customs? ; L'Afrique, à cause de sa faiblesse, de ses faillites à plusieurs niveaux, et de toutes les difficultés qu'elle rencontre pour répondre aux critères mondiaux de démocratie, est devenue au fil des années, le réceptacle idéal pour toutes sortes d'expérimentation sur la question du développement. Et ce n'est qu'à partir d'une crise des finances publiques dont la manifestation la plus emblématique fut celle de la dette publique qui avait déjà été amorcée une décennie plus tôt que les Africains se sont référés aux politiques d'ajustement structurel. Fortement encouragés par les organisations internationales, ces pays ont adopté la décentralisation comme moyens efficaces de bonne gouvernance. Malgré son aménagement dans les différentes constitutions, la décentralisation a véritablement débuté il y a seulement une quinzaine d'années dans de nombreux pays africains comme la Côte d'Ivoire, le Sénégal ou le Cameroun. La décentralisation apparait donc comme l'un des meilleurs moyens de modernisation de l'appareil étatique centralisé, de promotion de la participation citoyenne et de bonne gouvernance. Elle pourrait, avec la bonne gouvernance, apporter une lumière sur la manière dont les autorités en exercice gèrent les ressources de l'État. Vu comme un moyen d'essor et d'évolution économique, la décentralisation et la bonne gouvernance, selon le constat de ces dernières années, ne semble pas avoir les mêmes effets dans les pays du sud encore tribaux et surtout très pauvres et gangrenés par de nombreux maux. Ce modèle d'organisation territorial est juste devenu une condition pour bénéficier de l'aide internationale. Quelles sont les causes de l'échec de la décentralisation en Afrique de l'Ouest, et de quels moyens disposent ces États pour réussir à faire évoluer les idéaux démocratiques encore enfermés dans des rites et coutumes ancestrales ?

Pakistan straddles the linguistic border between two linguistic families; Indo-Aryan and Iranian, which together constitute Indo-Iranian, a major branch of the Indo-European family. Thus, the general panorama of the linguistic situation is characterized by linguistic diversity due to different social and historical factors. Like many other countries in the world, Pakistan is also a multilingual country where several languages are present with more or less different status. Apart from this multilingualism, a large part of the rural population of Pakistan is also monolingual. Under the effects of colonialism, the native languages of Pakistan are not recognized by the government. Because of the state's language policy, these less widely spoken languages are considered as minor languages. Thus, these regional languages are ignored even by linguists and researchers. From the point of view of linguistics, each language has peculiarities and linguistic richness despite its official status in a country. We chose to present five major languages of Pakistan. This linguistic diversity has offered us fertile ground for the study of these languages at the level of phonetics and phonology. The result of this work led us to a comparative study of the phonetic-phonological systems of the Pakistani languages and those of the French language. This allowed us to conclude that the rounded anterior vowels and French semi-vowels that do not exist in Pakistani languages are absent in the pronunciation of FLE learners. These absences are the major causes of the pronunciation errors made by the majority of Pakistani FLE learners. ; Le Pakistan chevauche la frontière linguistique entre deux familles linguistiques ; l'indo-aryen et l'iranien, qui ensemble constituent l'indo-iranien, une branche majeure de la famille indo-européenne. Ainsi, le panorama général de la situation linguistique se caractérise par la diversité linguistique due à différents facteurs sociaux et historiques. Comme beaucoup d'autres pays du monde, le Pakistan est aussi un pays multilingue où plusieurs langues sont présentes avec des statuts plus ou moins différents. A part ce multilinguisme, une grande partie de la population rurale du Pakistan est également monolingue. Sous les effets du colonialisme, les langues natives du Pakistan ne sont pas reconnues par le gouvernement. À cause de la politique linguistique de l'état, ces langues les moins répandues sont considérées comme des langues peu importantes. Ainsi, ces langues régionales restent ignorées même par des linguistes et des chercheurs. Du point de vue de la linguistique, chaque langue possède des particularités et une richesse linguistique malgré son statut officiel dans un pays. Nous avons choisi de présenter cinq langues majeures du Pakistan. Cette diversité linguistique nous a offert ce terrain fertile à l'étude de ces langues au niveau de la phonétique et de la phonologie. Le résultat de ce travail nous a conduits à une étude comparative des systèmes phonético-phonologiques des langues pakistanaises et ceux de la langue française. Cela nous a permis de conclure au fait que les voyelles antérieures arrondies et les semi-voyelles françaises n'existant pas dans les langues pakistanaises sont absentes dans la prononciation des apprenants de FLE. Ces absences sont les causes majeures des erreurs de la prononciation faites par la majorité des apprenants pakistanais de FLE.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyse the articulation between time and mobility in the context of the more or less brutal evolutions that Europe underwent between the middle of the 18th and the 19th centuries. The study is based on the analysis of travels, more precisely on the examination of emotions and perceptions felt by a hundred travellers of different nationalities and social conditions across Europe. In the context of the industrialisation of the old world, which is leading to a profound change in societies and in particular in social times, we propose an archaeology of the modern temporalities of travel. After having overcome the obstacles of self-writing in the travel narrative to understand as closely as possible the emotions experienced by travellers, it will be necessary to study the evolution of travel frameworks : the transport. From the horse-drawn carriage to the steam revolution from the 1830s onwards, the speed of travel increased considerably in a few decades. In conjunction with the evolution of aesthetic and philosophical conceptions, such as the transition from the Enlightenment to Romanticism, the perception of the environment and landscapes brings new emotions to travellers. As the use of travel guides is almost systematic, the study of these books highlights viatical temporal models and their mutations, in parallel with travel practices that tend towards modern tourism. All these political, technical, cultural and social developments led to a modernisation of Europe between the mid-18th and mid-19th centuries. This modernization is characterized in particular by an evolution of social temporalities, including the more specific temporalities of travel, towards more precision, rationalization and an increased awareness of time. ; L'objectif de cette thèse est d'analyser l'articulation entre temps et mobilités dans le contexte des évolutions plus ou moins brutales que subit l'Europe entre le milieu du XVIIIe et celui du XIXe siècle. L'étude se base sur l'analyse de voyages, plus précisément sur l'examen d'émotions et de perceptions ressenties par une centaine de voyageurs de nationalités différentes et de conditions sociales variées à travers l'Europe. Dans le contexte de l'industrialisation du vieux monde qui entraîne une modification profonde des sociétés et notamment des temps sociaux, nous proposons une archéologie des temporalités modernes du voyage. Après avoir déjoué les pièges de l'écriture de soi dans le récit de voyage pour appréhender au plus près les émotions vécues par les voyageurs, il sera question d'étudier l'évolution des cadres du voyage, c'est-à-dire les transports. De la voiture hippomobile à la révolution de la vapeur à partir des années 1830, la vitesse des déplacements augmente considérablement en quelques dizaines d'années. Conjointement à l'évolution des conceptions esthétiques et philosophiques, à l'image du passage des Lumières au romantisme, la perception de l'environnement et des paysages procure des émotions nouvelles aux voyageurs. Le recours aux guides de voyage étant quasi systématique, l'étude de ces ouvrages met en lumière les modèles temporels viatiques et leurs mutations, parallèlement aux pratiques de voyage qui tendent vers le tourisme moderne. Toutes ces évolutions politiques, techniques, culturelles et sociales aboutissent à une modernisation de l'Europe entre le milieu du XVIIIe et le milieu du XIXe siècle. Cette modernisation se caractérise notamment par une évolution des temporalités sociales, dont les temporalités plus spécifiques du voyage, vers plus de précision, de rationalisation et une conscience du temps accrue.

Die zufällige Entdeckung von Archivmaterial, das seit 1941 unberührt geblieben war, stellt den Werdegang des französischen Malers Michel Maximilien Leenhardt (genannt Max Leenhardt) in einem neuen Licht dar. Diese Quellen lassen seine breit gefächerten Interessen erkennen, sei es in der Malerei, der Kupferstechkunst, der Architektur, der Dichtkunst oder der Philosophie. Sich seinem Schaffen zu nähern erweist sich umso schwieriger als es in engem Zusammenhang mit den Beziehungsgeflechten des Malers, seinen Reisen oder im Wettstreit mit anderen Künstlern entsteht. So müssen wir einige Werke, die in gedruckter Form herausgegeben worden sind, auch als Propagandawerke betrachten, die eine politische oder mystische Botschaft beinhalten. In Zeiten sozialer und wirtschaftlicher Krisen sowie kriegerischer Auseinandersetzungen bietet die Malerei "vor dem Motiv" ((ohne Vorzeichnung und Nachbearbeitung im Atelier)) Raum für die philosophische und mystische Reflexion. Max Leenhardt wendet sich damit den Idealen der Bewegung zur "Erneuerung der christlichen Kunst in der Schweiz" zu, was sich an seinen Historienbildern fast gigantischen Ausmaßes oder auch in seinen Sonnenuntergängen vor verschiedenen Horizonten manifestiert. Wir werden zunächst die Beziehungsnetzwerke mit ihren jeweiligen Einflüssen auf das Kunstschaffen des Malers herausarbeiten und anschließend seine Bestrebungen darlegen sowie die Kompromisse, die er eingehen musste. Aufgewachsen im protestantischen Großbürgertum und nach dessen Prinzipien erzogen sah er sich mit ästhetischen Herausforderungen konfrontiert - eine neue Ästhetik zu erfinden, auf halbem Weg zwischen Impressionismus und Symbolismus, um seine Botschaft, sei sie engagierter, militanter oder geistiger Natur, zu vermitteln. ; The accidental discovery of archives preserved intact since 1941, brings a new light to the career of the French artist Michel Maximilien Leenhardt (known as Max Leenhardt). These sources reveal the multiple interests of a creator who was a painter, engraver, architect, writer and philosopher. The approach to his production is complex since it adapts to a relational context, a particular aim or an artistic emulation, obliging us to consider some of them, given their printed edition, as propaganda works which carry a political or mystical message. During the periods of socio-economic crisis and armed conflicts, painting "on the motive" is a way to philosophical and mystical thoughts. Max Leenhardt then joined the ideals of the movement of the «renewal of Swiss Christian art», whether through historical canvases with dimensions close to gigantism or sunsets on horizons. Thus, after identifying each network and their respective influences on the artistic production, we will detail the aspirations and compromises achieved by the artist. It is in fact his belonging to the Protestant upper bourgeoisie and his education that will force him to face aesthetic challenges, such as inventing an aesthetic halfway between impressionism and symbolism able to convey a committed message, militant or spiritual. ; La découverte fortuite d'archives conservées intactes depuis 1941, apporte un éclairage nouveau à la carrière de l'artiste français Michel Maximilien Leenhardt (dit Max Leenhardt, 1853-1941). Ces sources dévoilent les multiples centres d'intérêt d'un créateur qui fut peintre, graveur, architecte, écrivain et philosophe. L'approche de sa production se révèle complexe tant elle s'adapte à un contexte relationnel, une destination ou une émulation artistique, nous obligeant à considérer certaines d'entre elle, compte tenu de leur édition imprimée, comme des œuvres de propagande chargées d'un message politique ou mystique. Durant les périodes de crise socio-économique et de conflits armés, la peinture « sur le motif » se révèle propice à la réflexion philosophique et mystique. Max Leenhardt rejoint alors les idéaux du mouvement du « renouveau de l'art chrétien suisse », que cela soit par des toiles historiques aux proportions frôlant le gigantisme ou des couchers de soleil sur des horizons. Ainsi, après avoir identifié chaque réseau et leurs influences respectives sur la production artistique, nous exposerons les aspirations et les compromis auquel l'artiste est arrivé. C'est en effet son appartenance à la haute bourgeoisie protestante et son éducation qui l'obligeront à relever des défis esthétiques, comme inventer une esthétique à mi-chemin entre impressionnisme et symbolisme apte à véhiculer un message engagé, militant ou spirituel.

This thesis focuses on a contemporary phenomenon situated on the border between architecture and urbanism: the Abandoned Large Structure (ALS). This notion brings the attention to large and heterogeneous built environments that have been abandoned for more than a decade. The ALS is a liminal phenomenon, located in a state of in-betweenness, « no longer classified and not yet reclassified » (Edensor, 2005). The problematic raised by our research questions the field of architectural design, using the ALS as a theoretical object. Between resistances and resources, what potentials for contemporary architectural design does the GSA present? What mitsmatches arise from the confrontation between GSA and conventional modes of intervention and representation in architecture?First, the phenomenon of Abandoned Large Structures is defined via inventory, description, and classification (chapters 1, 2 and 3). Second, faced with the limits presented by conventional classification frameworks in architecture, the thesis shifts the analysis from a classification of what the ALS is (properties) to what the ALS does or can do (capacities). The many scenarios revolving around the ALS here serve as analytical material to access the potential architecture of thoses structures (chapters 4, 5 and 6). An in-situ case study, conducted in one of the ALS (El Elefante Blanco, Buenos Aires), serves as a guide for a survey of the ALS' categories of potential. Five categories are extracted (1. Material deposit, 2. Increased epidermis, 3. Megastructure 2.0, 4. Rhizome and 5. Anti-monument), to which respond specific design strategies. From material to immaterial and from order to entropy, these potentials place the ALS at the intersection of constructive, ecological, social and political challenges. ; Cette thèse porte sur un phénomène contemporain situé à la frontière entre architecture et urbanisme : celui de la Grande Structure Abandonnée (GSA). Cette notion rassemble une hétérogénéité de situations construites de grande taille accusant une durée d'abandon supérieure à une décennie. La GSA est un phénomène liminal se situant dans un entre-deux de temps et d'espace, entre déclassement et reclassement. La problématique soulevée par notre recherche questionne le champ de la conception en architecture à partir de la GSA comme objet théorique. Entre résistances et ressources, quels potentiels pour la conception architecturale contemporaine la GSA présente-t-elle ? Quels écarts naissent de la confrontation entre GSA et modes conventionnels d'intervention et de représentation en architecture ?Les trois premiers chapitres s'attachent à définir le phénomène de la GSA via des opérations d'inventaire, de description et de classement. Face aux limites présentées par les cadres classificatoires conventionnels en architecture, les trois derniers chapitres opèrent un déplacement des cadres d'analyse : d'une classification de ce qu'est la GSA (propriétés), il est alors question d'interroger ce que la GSA fait ou peut faire (capacités). Les nombreux scénarios gravitant autour de la GSA servent alors de matière d'analyse permettant d'accéder à l'architecture potentielle de ces structures. Une étude de cas in situ, menée dans l'une des structures étudiées (El Elefante Blanco de Buenos Aires), sert de fil rouge à une enquête sur les catégories de potentiel de la GSA. Cinq catégories sont extraites (1. Gisement, 2. Épiderme augmenté, 3. Mégastructure 2.0, 4. Rhizome et 5. Anti-monument), auxquelles répondent des stratégies de conception propres. Convoquant les domaines du matériel et de l'immatériel, des desseins structurants comme entropisants, ces potentiels placent la GSA au croisement d'enjeux constructifs, écologiques, sociaux et politiques.

In 1933, Jacinto Luis Guereña, born in Argentina in 1915 of a Basque father and an Italian mother, entered by public examination into the Normal School of Primary Education No. 2 of Madrid (the old Normal School of Teachers). In June of 1936 he finished his theoretical studies, and in the next academic course he was meant to start his internship period as a salaried student-professor. . But the course of historical events, foreseeable for some years, given the strong social tensions existing in the Spain of the 1930s, would completely change the course of his life and ruin virtually all of his legitimate professional and personal dreams. The commitment of the young normalist affiliated to the Students' University Federation (FUE) after the Franco uprising of July 1936 was clear: he became a militiaman (in the Basque Antifascist Militias), a soldier of the new People's Army of the Republic, a militant of culture and a lieutenant after his time at the Popular School of War for Engineers. He participated in the battle of the Ebro and after the defeat of the republican offensive remained in Catalonia until the withdrawal. On February 9, 1939, he crossed the border and spent time at several concentration camps in France. The article discusses his professional, cultural and political activities after leaving the camp of Gurs, as well as his attempt to insert himself into French cultural life without losing his Spanish roots. In 1956, when he was again able to enter Spain, he began a new facet of his life, having to make his way into Spanish intellectual life and not only that of exile. ; En 1933, Jacinto Luis Guereña, nacido en Argentina en 1915 pero de padre vasco y de madre italiana, ingresa por oposición en la Escuela Normal de Magisterio Primario nº 2 de Madrid (la antigua Escuela Normal de Maestras). El compromiso del joven normalista afiliado a la Federación Universitaria Escolar (FUE) tras la sublevación franquista de julio de 1936 fue claro: miliciano (en las Milicias Vascas Antifascistas), soldado del nuevo Ejército popular de la República, miliciano de la cultura y teniente tras su paso por la Escuela popular de Guerra de Ingenieros. Participó en la batalla del Ebro y tras la derrota de la ofensiva republicana permaneció en Cataluña hasta la retirada. El 9 de febrero de 1939 cruzó la frontera, pasando a continuación por varios campos. Se comentan sus actividades profesionales, culturales y políticas al salir del campo de Gurs, su intento de insertarse en la vida cultural francesa sin perder las raíces españolas. This analysis explores the evolution of the relationship between feminism and the Puerto Rican independence up to today, with the Nationalist Revolts of 1950s as a starting date. As a "unincorporated territory" of the United States, Puerto Rico's political status today remains ambiguous, as it has been the case for centuries of life under a colonial system. As a result, the pro-independence/nationalist movement on the island has always been a force to be reckoned with, and women have been eager participants in the struggle for the liberation of the nation. My research explores on the one hand, the involvement of women within the separatist organizations (mainly here the Nationalist Party, the Young Lords Party, and the Puerto Rican Independence Party) and the extent to which they have had access to leadership positions within these organizations, and on the other hand, the place that the independence movement gave to the issue of women's rights among their demands for complete sovereignty. This place logically grew in importance over the decades, along with society's increasing care for women's rights. Thus, it goes from an almost non-existent attention given to women's rights issues during the time of the Nationalist Party to a portion of the 2016 PIP program exclusively dedicated to the advancement of women's rights. A final question naturally arises from the main topic of this analysis: do feminism and nationalism necessarily have conflicting interests? Their relationship is certainly tumultuous, but I contend that a feminist nationalism is possible in the Puerto Rican context, as long as it implies a more modern reconceptualization of nationalism. ; Ce mémoire a pour but d'examiner la relation entre féminisme et mouvement indépendantiste portoricain depuis les Révoltes Nationalistes de 1950 jusqu'à aujourd'hui. En tant que « territoire non-incorporé » des États-Unis, la statut politique de Puerto Rico reste ambigu même aujourd'hui, après des siècles de vie au sein d'un système colonial. En conséquence logique, le mouvement indépendantiste/nationaliste est une force sur laquelle il faut compter dans le paysage politique portoricain, et les femmes ont toujours été d'actives partisanes de la libération de leur nation. Mon travail de recherche porte d'une part sur l'implication des femmes au sein des différentes organisations séparatistes (principalement dans cette étude le Parti Nationaliste, le Young Lords Party, et le Parti Indépendantiste Portoricain) et la mesure selon laquelle elles ont pu avoir accès à des postes à responsabilités au sein de ces organisations, et d'autre part sur la place allouée par le mouvement indépendantiste/nationaliste aux questions de droits des femmes parmi leurs revendications d'autonomie. Cette place a logiquement augmenté au cours des décennies, aux côtés de l'intérêt grandissant porté par la société en général aux questions féministes. Ainsi, on passe d'une attention quasi inexistante porté aux droits des femmes durant la période du Parti Nationaliste à une section entière du programme 2016 du Parti Indépendantiste Portoricain dédiée à leur développement. Une question finale émerge naturellement du sujet central de cette analyse : féminisme et nationalisme sont-ils condamnés à avoir des intérêts divergents et incompatibles ? Leur relation est certes tumultueuse, mais je plaide en faveur de l'existence possible d'un nationalisme féministe dans le contexte portoricain, pourvu qu'elle implique une reconceptualisation plus moderne du terme nationalisme.

Questa tesi vuole indagare quali parametri incidono sulla disparità di genere, focalizzandosi sulla condizione femminile nel mondo del lavoro e sulle difficoltà che spesso riscontrano le donne a causa degli stereotipi di genere, specialmente durante e dopo la nascita di un figlio. La prima parte offre una panoramica generale sul concetto di divario di genere, o gender gap, e le aree in cui questo divario si manifesta, primo fra tutte il mondo del lavoro, ma anche educazione e scelte scolastiche, lavori domestici e cura dei figli. Nel mondo del lavoro, il divario di genere si concretizza nel concetto di segregazione professionale di genere, che può essere verticale, detta anche glass ceiling, e orizzontale. Nel primo caso, la segregazione riguarda la struttura aziendale, nel secondo, più in generale, i settori professionali, come quelli che rispondono all'acronimo di STEM ovvero scienza, tecnologia, ingegneria e matematica. Esistono numerose altre metafore associate alla segregazione di genere: lo sticky floor, il fenomeno del leaky pipeline, il glass cliff e l'effetto ape regina o queen-bee effect. Nella seconda parte verrà approfondito il dibattito sulle quote rosa, includendo un parallelismo tra uguaglianza di opportunità e uguaglianza di risultati. Oltre alle politiche sulle quote rosa, saranno analizzate altre politiche in favore della famiglia, le cosiddette family-friendly policies, tra cui i congedi parentali. Il congedo di paternità a titolo individuale è spesso un lusso non concesso a tutti i neo-padri. In alcuni paesi, è inesistente, in altri può variare da pochi giorni a poche settimane. Tuttavia, anche congedi di maternità eccessivamente lunghi possono ostacolare la parità di genere in quanto rendono difficile il reinserimento della madre dopo la maternità, a discapito della retribuzione. L'indipendenza economica gioca un ruolo fondamentale nella parità di genere. Fino a pochi decenni fa, la donna dipendeva economicamente dal marito che provvedeva al sostentamento della famiglia. Oggi, una maggiore consapevolezza e l'aumento del tasso di occupazione femminile sta incrementando anche lo stipendio percepito dalle donne. Tuttavia, le statistiche rivelano che, anche su questo fronte, le donne guadagnano meno degli uomini. Si parla allora di gender pay gap (GPG) o divario salariale di genere. Alla sua origine è possibile identificare varie cause: cause esplicite o visibili e cause implicite o invisibili. Tuttavia, risulta molto complesso stabilire con precisione il perché le donne guadagnino meno. Purtroppo, però, la discriminazione di genere rientra tra le cause principali all'origine del divario salariale, ed incide anche in sede di assunzione. La tesi si conclude con una panoramica sul progetto chiamato MAAM, ovvero Maternity as a Master. L'obiettivo è quello di verificare l'effettività del progetto un'intervista alla creatrice Riccarda Zezza. Questo progetto lungimirante vuole sottolineare l'importanza della maternità come vera e propria "palestra" per sviluppare e migliorare le competenze soft, oggigiorno tanto richieste nel mondo del lavoro, e che inconsapevolmente madri e padri allenano con i propri figli. MAAM vuole consapevolizzare i genitori sull'importanza della genitorialità, che non è un ostacolo alla carriera ma un'opportunità di crescita personale e professionale. Questo progetto, insieme a Piano C, un programma di co-working, ad opera della stessa realizzatrice di MAAM, fa ben sperare per superare quel meccanismo patriarcale che ancora oggi fatica ad essere scardinato.

This analysis explores the evolution of the relationship between feminism and the Puerto Rican independence up to today, with the Nationalist Revolts of 1950s as a starting date. As a "unincorporated territory" of the United States, Puerto Rico's political status today remains ambiguous, as it has been the case for centuries of life under a colonial system. As a result, the pro-independence/nationalist movement on the island has always been a force to be reckoned with, and women have been eager participants in the struggle for the liberation of the nation. My research explores on the one hand, the involvement of women within the separatist organizations (mainly here the Nationalist Party, the Young Lords Party, and the Puerto Rican Independence Party) and the extent to which they have had access to leadership positions within these organizations, and on the other hand, the place that the independence movement gave to the issue of women's rights among their demands for complete sovereignty. This place logically grew in importance over the decades, along with society's increasing care for women's rights. Thus, it goes from an almost non-existent attention given to women's rights issues during the time of the Nationalist Party to a portion of the 2016 PIP program exclusively dedicated to the advancement of women's rights. A final question naturally arises from the main topic of this analysis: do feminism and nationalism necessarily have conflicting interests? Their relationship is certainly tumultuous, but I contend that a feminist nationalism is possible in the Puerto Rican context, as long as it implies a more modern reconceptualization of nationalism. ; Ce mémoire a pour but d'examiner la relation entre féminisme et mouvement indépendantiste portoricain depuis les Révoltes Nationalistes de 1950 jusqu'à aujourd'hui. En tant que « territoire non-incorporé » des États-Unis, la statut politique de Puerto Rico reste ambigu même aujourd'hui, après des siècles de vie au sein d'un système colonial. En conséquence logique, le mouvement indépendantiste/nationaliste est une force sur laquelle il faut compter dans le paysage politique portoricain, et les femmes ont toujours été d'actives partisanes de la libération de leur nation. Mon travail de recherche porte d'une part sur l'implication des femmes au sein des différentes organisations séparatistes (principalement dans cette étude le Parti Nationaliste, le Young Lords Party, et le Parti Indépendantiste Portoricain) et la mesure selon laquelle elles ont pu avoir accès à des postes à responsabilités au sein de ces organisations, et d'autre part sur la place allouée par le mouvement indépendantiste/nationaliste aux questions de droits des femmes parmi leurs revendications d'autonomie. Cette place a logiquement augmenté au cours des décennies, aux côtés de l'intérêt grandissant porté par la société en général aux questions féministes. Ainsi, on passe d'une attention quasi inexistante porté aux droits des femmes durant la période du Parti Nationaliste à une section entière du programme 2016 du Parti Indépendantiste Portoricain dédiée à leur développement. Une question finale émerge naturellement du sujet central de cette analyse : féminisme et nationalisme sont-ils condamnés à avoir des intérêts divergents et incompatibles ? Leur relation est certes tumultueuse, mais je plaide en faveur de l'existence possible d'un nationalisme féministe dans le contexte portoricain, pourvu qu'elle implique une reconceptualisation plus moderne du terme nationalisme.

Background: The use of family planning (FP) prevents the risk associated with pregnancy and childbirth, but Madagascar has a contraceptive prevalence of only 33% which is reflected by complications: fistulas, early pregnancies and abortions. The objectives of this study are to describe the knowledge, practices and factors influencing the use of contraceptive methods (CM) by Malagasy women in rural areas. Methods: The data collected comes from a project of the Pasteur Institute of Madagascar. Two cross-sectional surveys, quantitative and qualitative, were conducted. The collection was conducted via standardized questionnaires administered face to face with pregnant women in 3 districts of Madagascar between 2017 and 2018. Data were described then a multivariate logistic regression was performed to identify the determinants of past use of CM. These results were discussed using qualitative data. Results: 512 pregnant women were included in the study. 90% of women knew some MC. 58.20% had already used it, mainly the injection to 79%. The main determinants of past use of CM were: age (ORa = 3.04, CI = [1.25-7.85] for women aged 18-24 versus women under 18) with increasing ORa with increasing age; history of pregnancy (ORa = 3.56, CI = [1.71-7.62]); and spousal support (ORa = 9.17, CI = [2.34-38.65]). Conclusion: Outreach speeches about FP should focus on girls and their parents as well as spouses. Training would be needed to democratize CM and to make it clear that early use is safe and essential to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Les objectifs de cette étude sont de décrire les connaissances, les pratiques et les facteurs influençant l'utilisation de méthodes contraceptives (MC) chez les femmes malgaches en milieu rural. Méthodes : Les données collectées proviennent d'un projet de l'Institut Pasteur de Madagascar. Deux enquêtes transversales, quantitative et qualitative, ont été menées. La collecte s'est faite à partir de questionnaires standardisés administrés en face à face auprès de femmes enceintes de 3 districts de Madagascar entre 2017 et 2018. Les données ont été décrites puis une régression logistique multivariée a été réalisée pour identifier les déterminants de l'utilisation passée de MC. Ces résultats ont été discutés à l'aide des données qualitatives. Résultats : 512 femmes enceintes ont été incluses dans l'étude. 90% des femmes connaissaient des MC. 58,20% en avait déjà utilisé, majoritairement l'injection à 79%. Les principaux déterminants de l'utilisation passée de MC étaient : l'âge (ORa=3,04, IC= [1,25-7,85] pour les femmes de 18-24ans par rapport aux femmes de moins de 18ans) avec des ORa croissants avec l'augmentation de l'âge ; les antécédents de grossesses (ORa=3,56, IC= [1,71-7,62]) ; et le soutien du conjoint (ORa=9,17, IC= [2,34-38,65]). Conclusion : Les discours de sensibilisation à propos du PF devrait être centrés sur les jeunes filles et leurs parents ainsi que sur les conjoints. Des formations seraient nécessaires pour démocratiser les MC et faire comprendre qu'une utilisation précoce est sans danger et essentielle pour prévenir notamment les grossesses non désirées. « La santé de la mère et de l'enfant dépend du planning familial. » 9_AC

Harm Reduction of drug use appeared in France in the 80's to minimize the HIV spread among injection drug users. This philosophy of intervention was a paradigm shift: the goal was to learn how to "live with the drugs". However, Harm Reduction as a concept is directly opposed to the Prohibition Law of 31st December 1970 which is still applied today. In this context, it is not easy to put Harm Reduction into practice, even though it became the Public Health's national policy. How can Harm Reduction within France ensure effective services and facilities with a social and medical function support in social integration of drug users if those persons are practically excluded from accessing the majority of social help facilities just because of their drug use? This research focuses mostly on the "world" of social housing. Therefore, the author, a social worker in Harm Reduction services, has conducted research in several housing facilities on how various professionnals and drug users feel about Harm Reduction practice within the prohibitionnist concept. How can professionnals put Harm Reduction into practice even though drug use is illegal and not allowed in social housing facilities? Is it even acceptable? Concerning drug users, how do they feel about their drug use in the context og social housing? And how do they perceive the help that could be offered to them on the subject of substance use? How can Harm Reduction strategy participate in the building of "social cohesion" in the social housing context? The Harm Reduction intervention model poses questions, with a certain radicalism, that are central in social health policies. ; La Réduction des Risques liés à l'usage de drogues (RdR) est apparue en France dans les années 1980, l'objectif étant de limiter les ravages de l'épidémie de sida chez les consommateur.rices utilisant la voir intraveineuse. Cette philosophie d'intervention était porteuse d'un nouveau paradigme : il s'agissait d'apprendre à « vivre avec les drogues ». pourtant, la RdR entre en contradiction avec la loi de prohibition du 31 décembre 1970 - toujours en vigueur. Dans ce contexte, la RdR reste complexe à mettre en oeuvre, bien qu'elle soit devenue en 2004 une politique nationale de santé publique. Comment les CAARUD, établissements médicaux sociaux dédiés à la RdR, peuvent-ils soutenir l'insertion sociale des usager.ères, alors même que ces dernier.ères se voient quasiment interdire l'accès aux dispositifs existants du simple fait de leurs consommations ? Cette recherche s'intéresse en particulier au « monde » de l'hébergement social. Ainsi, l'auteur, lui-même praticien au sein d'un CAARUD, a t-il enquêté dans plusieurs CHRS, en étudiant la manière dont les différent.es acteur.rices concerné.es, professionnel.les et usagers, éprouvent la logique de RdR en contexte prohibitionniste. Comment les professionnel.es s'en saisissent-ils.elles ? Quelles sont les pratiques d'accompagnement mises en oeuvre au nom de la RdR ? S'agit-il en définitive d'une pratique acceptable ? Quant aux usager.ères, comment vivent-ils.elles leurs consommations dans le cadre de l'hébergement et comment aperçoivent-il.elles qui leur est apportée à ce niveau ? À quelle condition la RdR participe t-elle finalement au « vivre ensemble » ? Envisagée comme modèle d'intervention, la RdR pose, avec une certaine radicalité, des question qui sont aujourd'hui centrales dans les politiques sociales et sanitaires.

On the occasion of Peru's Independence, the champions of the Creole nation elevated the Inca State Indian to the status of a respectable ancestor, thus eliminating the Amerindian historicity of the population. The archaeological remains provide support to an indigenist ideology that ignores the sociological Indian, considered to be ontologically inferior. Today, these Inca vestiges contribute to the construction of the national narrative: the Inca solar cult is thus reinvented on the site of Sacsayhuaman. To what extent can the work of archaeologists serve to corroborate partisan ideologies? The presidents of the Peruvian and Bolivian Republics were inducted as pre-Hispanic rulers, the first on the Inca site of Machu Picchu, the second at the Tiwanaku Sun gate. To what extent can the vestiges of a civilization be instrumentalized by politics? The Inca sites are now assailed by New Age mystics from the United States and Europe under the leadership of local neo-shamans. They are indeed reputed to carry positive "energy", one that is exploited by mystical tourism agencies. To what extent can the heritage of the nation, maintained by public services, be the object of private profits, ideologies that may be sectarian and possibly irreparable damages? In the culture of traditional Andean communities, the pre-Hispanic ruins had a classificatory and symbolic function. This function disappears when the setting of a myth is replaced by a historical site. How can we respect the indigenous perception of archaeological remains? These are the ethical questions that this article seeks to raise on the basis of specific and concrete cases of archaeological sites on which the author has carried out excavations. ; À l'occasion de l'Indépendance du Pérou, les champions de la nation d'origine créole ont érigé l'Indien étatique inca en ancêtre présentable, éliminant ainsi l'historicité amérindienne de la population. Les restes archéologiques viennent appuyer alors une idéologie indigéniste qui ignore l'Indien sociologique, considéré comme ontologiquement inférieur. Aujourd'hui ces vestiges incas contribuent à construire le roman national: le culte solaire inca est ainsi réinventé sur le site de Sacsayhuaman. Dans quelle mesure les travaux des archéologues peuvent-ils servir d'argument à des idéologies partisanes? Les présidents des Républiques péruvienne et bolivienne ont été intronisés comme souverains préhispaniques, le premier sur le site inca de Machu Picchu, le second à la porte du Soleil de Tiwanaku. Dans quelle mesure les vestiges d'une civilisation peuvent-ils être instrumentalisés par la politique? Désormais les sites incas sont investis par des mystiques venus des États-Unis et d'Europe sous la conduite de néo-chamanes locaux. Ils sont en effet réputés contenir de l' « énergie » positive. Celle-ci est exploitée par des agences de tourisme mystique. Dans quelle mesure le patrimoine de la nation, entretenu par les services publics, peut-il faire l'objet de profits privés, d'idéologies parfois sectaires et de dommages irréparables? Dans la culture des communautés andines traditionnelles, les ruines préhispaniques avaient une fonction classificatoire et symbolique. Celle-ci disparaît quand le lieu du mythe est remplacé par des sites historiques. Comment respecter la perception indigène des vestiges archéologiques? Tels sont les questions éthiques que cet article entend poser à partir de cas précis et concrets de sites archéologiques sur lesquels l'auteur a mené des enquêtes.

Objectifs : Une étude de l'état de lieu et impact socioéconomique de l'élevage caprin a été réalisée dans le territoire de Walungu. L'objectif est de donner un aperçu sur la situation de l'élevage caprin dans le milieu et recueillir les perceptions des éleveurs relatives à l'impact de cet élevage sur leur vie socioéconomique.Méthodologie et résultats : L'étude a été menée sur base d'une enquête réalisée auprès de 120 éleveurs des caprins. Il a été constaté que l'alimentation (46,67%), les maladies (35,83%) et l'accès à la terre (11,67%) sont les contraintes majeures au développement de l'élevage caprin à Walungu. La piète (38,33%), la peste depetits ruminants (35%), et la fièvre aphteuse (26,67%) constituent les pathologies caprines les plus fréquentes dans le milieu. La taille moyenne du cheptel caprin par ferme a augmenté de 2015 (4,2 ± 3,023) à 2017 (6,2697 ± 3,4931) ; par ailleurs 46% des fermiers ont signalé la diminution des effectifs caprins dans leurs fermes suite aux maladies (30%), vente (47,5%), donation (41,7%), la mauvaise elimentation (15%), et le vol (5,8%). Malgré les difficultés qu'ils connaissent, cet élevage permet aux éleveurs de répondre à leurs besoins de scolarisation des enfants (43,43%), soins sanitaires (25,83%), fertilisation des champs (10%), location des champs (9,33%) et l'alimentation familiale (3,9%).Conclusion et application des résultats : La situation de l'élevage caprin est précaire à Walungu compte tenu de multiples défis auxquels les éleveurs font face. L'amélioration des conditions de vie des animaux entre autres l'alimentation, le logement et les soins sanitaires contribuerait de manière directe à la hausse de la production caprine et indirectement au bien être des éleveurs.Mots-clés : contraintes, défis, Élevage caprin, impact, Walungu Goat rearing : Current situation, challenges and socio-economic impact on the population of Walungu territory, Democratic Republic of Congo Objectives: A study of the current situation and socioeconomic impact of goat farming was carried out in Walungu territory. The aim was to give an overview of the situation of goat farming in the area and to collect the perceptions of breeders about the impact of this breeding on their socio-economic life. Methodology and results : The study was conducted through a survey of 120 goat breeders. It was found that food (46.67%), diseases (35.83%) and access to land (11.67%) are the major constraints to the development of goat farming in Walungu. Piète (38.33%), Peste des Petits Ruminants (35%), and foot-and-mouth disease (26.67%) are the most common goat diseases in the environment. The average size of goats per farm increased from 2015 (4.2 ± 3.02) to 2017 (6.26 ± 3.49), however 46% of farmers reported decreases in goat numbers due to disease (30%), sales (47.5%), donation (41.7%), poor nutrition (15%), and theft (5.8%). Despite the difficulties they experience, this breeding allows the breeders to meet their needs of schooling of children (43.43%), health care (25.83%), fertilization of the fields (10%), field rental (9.33%) and family nourishment (3.9%).Conclusion and application of results : The situation of goat farming is recarious in Walungu given the multiple challenges that pastoralists face. The paper states that the shift towards a fresh development model is a thing done along two paths of time, the first being imaginary and concerned with a better future, the second with the various ways that such a future could be made possible. As to the first, public urging of such policy question can take a host of forms, some of it promising an ethical modernism, the revitalising of democracy, evolution towards a newsociety open to fresh ideas or an economy handled so as to integrate all within its competition. To reach such New Jerusalem's new ways of understanding the interaction as between things social, economic andinstitutional that govern development come to the fore. Given that the traditional nation marching towards full development model has been discredited and the contradictions that a hypothetical nationalneo-liberal argument must give rise to, the present day situation has produced two alternatives to these dogmas. The first calls for a developing of the People for the People, demands that things social should thus bow to economic needs and sees valid argument as being ever subject to that imposed by the dynamics of development. A modernity, were it technical, material and institutional must, it argues, lead to social integration. Universal participation in the market is here held to be almost an obligation. The second suggests re-building the People for development. Here, by firing public opinion up for the struggleagainst social exclusion, the whole notion of what is modern is to be brought into question, making any economic project servant to social factors and their inherent demands. Such a model, as the author seesit, is almost necessarily haunted by the risk of a political creating of lobbying in favour of a group particular sharing of the market. ; La transición hacia un nuevo modelo de desarrollo se articula en dos tiempos: por una parte, laconstrucción imaginaria de un futuro deseable; y por otra, el esfuerzo por comprender las alternativas de su concreción.En el campo de lo imaginario, el debate público es acompañado por múltiples discursos movilizadores delas energias sociales: la construcción de una modernidad ética; la radicalización de la democracia; la evoluciónhacia una sociedad innovadora, o la gestación de una economía integradora y competitiva, entre otros factores.Para alcanzar estos objetivos, se plantean distintas formas de repensar las articulaciones entre las dimensioneseconómicas, sociales y político-institucionales que orientan el desarrollo (1). Ante la crisis del tradicional proyectonacional desarrollista y las paradojas de un hipotético proyecto nacional neoliberal, hoy aparecen dos alternativasposibles. La primera propone un desarrollo para la ciudadanía: supone la subordinación de los sujetos sociales ala lógica económica y ve el desarrollo como un proceso de ajuste de las racionalidades a la dinámica de la modernización.Una modernidad técnico-material e institucional integrará a los ciudadanos. La inserción competitivaes, en este cuadro, casi imperativa. La segunda se propone construir la ciudadanía para el desarrollo. Al movilizarlas conciencias para un ataque frontal a la exclusión social, propone la reelaboración del concepto de modernidadsubordinando el proyecto económico a las distintas lógicas de los sujetos sociales. Aquí aparece el mayor elespectro de posibilidades a través de las cuales la voluntad política elabora las presiones hacia la inserción competitiva.Veamos a continuación algunos rasgos principales de estas dos vias.
