Introduction. The actuality problem of the chosen topic is due to a large practical the importance of the activities and development of food businesses in Ukraine under the influence of socio-political factors of the present. Existing tools for assessing the impact of socio-political factors in the overwhelming majority are based on uncertain approaches and do not pay much attention to considering these factors and their impact on the activities and development of the food business. Aim and tasks. Investigated, grouped and the list of socio-political aspects that affect the planning of enterprise development is given. The essence of socio-political aspects is defined in the modern sense from the point of view of introduction of social, political and economic factors of influence on the activity and development of food enterprises of Ukraine. The complex of measures for improvement and improvement of development of the food enterprise in the present economic and political situation is offered. These measures are aimed at supporting the economic initiatives of food business managers and include entrepreneurship support tools. A number of socio-political tools are proposed, as well as PEST analysis to ensure the strategic development of food businesses. Research results. In our opinion, the socio-political environment is perhaps the least predictable element in the entire business environment. Thus, the functions that are implemented during the planning process are substantially changed, the role of planning for development in the food business system is changing. It is increasingly becoming a tool for increasing the competitiveness of enterprises, a means of bringing together different food companies around new values and long-term priorities. Conclusions. Such an intensification of strategic planning, on the one hand, is a logical stage in the development of enterprises, on the other hand, by the efforts of these enterprises to find adequate tools and mechanisms for responding to the challenges in the country and in the world, when processes are significantly accelerating, including political, economic, social, technological, ecological etc. An additional measure of the current situation is the development of an information society that generates a number of new types of activities that managers should take into account for the sake of sustainable development of food businesses.

This book is an exploration of Alasdair MacIntyre's writings on virtue ethics and John Pearce's reformist and radical forms of social enterprise. Although Pearce's work has had academic impact, by his own admission, his ideas lack the necessary philosophical underpinnings. In Virtue and Social Enterprise: Ethical Alternatives to Capitalism, Geraldine Hall draws on MacIntyre to provide such underpinnings. Through a novel synthesis of the works of these two authors, a philosophical grounding is given to Pearce's radical form of social enterprise. In turn, MacIntyre's views on virtue are given greater scope to address global issues created by the capitalist paradigm. With a foreword by Kelvin Knight, this book will be of great interest to scholars and students of Alasdair MacIntyre, virtue ethics, business ethics and social responsibility. Geraldine Hall has previously taught at the University of South Wales as a Senior Lecturer and was a dissertation supervisor at Cardiff Metropolitan University. She is currently a freelance writer.
Stigma refers to any negative perception on an object. If something is being stigmatized, the mass population shall expel those being stigmatized through treating them differently. And those being stigmatized shall strongly feel a sense of difference from the mainstream value. In this paper, social stigma on public rental housing (PRH) in Hong Kong is the core focus of study. Experiences from foreign countries having significant PRH developments clearly show that large-scale PRH neighbourhood usually bears strong social stigma for the simple reason of the concentration of the underclass. Owing to the various government policies in respect of PRHs implemented, i.e. targeted PRH allocation policy, intensive management practices, homeownership promotion and limited investment in enhancing PRH living condition together with the ill-intentional reporting method adopted by the mass media to exaggerate the family problems encountered by the PRH residents in order to boost up their sales rate, social stigmatization of large-scale PRH is greatly reinforced. PRH residents then easily feel a sense of inferiority and being looked down upon resulting in being treated differently in many aspects of daily living. Non-PRH residents also contribute to sustain such stigma on PRH residents through minimizing their social contacts with the latter to significantly exclude them from the normal society. To cope with such negative perception on PRHs, governments of foreign countries tried to conduct image engineering programmes to alleviate the poor image such as launching redevelopment programmes and the realization of tenure mix practices if possible. In a word, it is crystal clear that social stigma on PRH exists in the large-scale PRH developments in foreign countries which associates with both their residents and residency. Back to my local research, the number of PRH in Hong Kong is consistently increasing. What would be the phenomenon of PRH in Hong Kong nowadays? This comes to the centre study of this research which is to draw a convincing conclusion to justify or refute if social stigma on PRHs in Hong Kong is apparent. To develop a coherent argument to testify the statement, a straightforward plan of analysis by adopting four social outcomes measuring instruments, i.e. perceptions on PRHs from PRH and non-PRH residents; phenomenon of PRHs, acceptability of PRHs and the root causes accounting for residents' perception, is established to take up the task. To realize the analytical framework, secondary data from the Hong Kong Housing Department (HD) would be obtained to study; site visit to Tin Yiu Estate, an estate locates in the "City of Sadness" – Tin Shui Wai for grasping the genuine PRH residency would be conducted; street questionnaire surveys in Tin Shui Wai Estate neighbourhood and the Central and Western District would also be carried out to collect the primary perception from PRH and non-PRH residents on PRH. By analysing all the data obtained, it is nevertheless concluded that social stigma on PRHs in Hong Kong is, overall speaking, not apparent, social stigma on Tin Shui Wai PRH estates are perceived. Besides, the role of the mass media in shaping the perception of the majority mass on PRHs in Hong Kong is found to be significant. Also, the reason for applying for PRHs shifts from "residents' genuine need" to "a kind of benefit opened to all those eligible". Such findings are food for thought for the policy makers to address. This paper would now explicate the aforesaid findings and implications in a systematic manner. ; published_or_final_version ; Housing Management ; Master ; Master of Housing Management

Retrospective study of transverse type from January to June 2009 in the Tinbuktu area for specific supervision of activities to combat tuberculosis, whose main objective was to make the analysis of the epidemiological situation of tuberculosis in the Tinbuktu area. The ratio was of two men for one woman, this male is observed in all circles except Niafunké where he had parity. The new cases of smear-positive cases represent 85% and the circle of Tinbuktu outwits the greatest number of TB patients in the region either 29.6% unlike Gourma RHAROUS 4.8 percent of the cases. By making the same crossing for therapeutic failure rate, we see that the single Goundam circle holds 50% of cases of failure of the region. Lost to rate is higher in the circle of Tinbuktu 46.7% Unlike Niafounké where this is 5.6%. Cases of tuberculosis in negative microscopy and pulmonary extra represent, respectively, 3.2 and 6.4 percent of cases of tuberculosis in the region of Tinbuktu. We have found a statistically significant relationship (P = 0. 004) between failed and death in the region. The fight against tuberculosis remains a struggle that deserves to require the attention of political power and vigilance of social health.
