The implementation of e-Government for better public service delivery has recently attracted government agents. This research aims at finding out the availability and types of services electronically provided by local governments. From 22 local government websites, it is revealed that the websites mostly display one-way announcement/information regarding demography and licensing services. Only few display interaction menu, provide two way/interactive page, and/or alredy possess transaction page.

Am Abend des 28. Januar 1997 wurden zwei von 21 Karen-Flüchtlingslagern, Huay Kalok (Wangka) und Don Pa Kiang, entlang der thai-burmesischen Grenze angegriffen. Gegen 22 Uhr drangen plötzlich etwa 400 Soldaten, Angehörige der burmesischen Armee tatma- daw und der Democratic Karen Buddhist Army (DKBA), die sich 1994 nach internen Auseinandersetzungen von der Karen National Union (KNU) abgespalten hatten, ohne jede Vorankündigung in das Lager Huay Kalok ein, machten einen großen Teil dem Erdboden gleich und somit mehrere tausend der knapp 7.000 Einwohnerinnen von Huay Kalok obdachlos. Einem Ultimatum, nach Burma zurückzukehren, das sie den Flüchtlingen gestellt hatten, war niemand gefolgt.

Preferred is a San Francisco company that contracts with building management companies to provide janitorial services. Preferred fulfills the contracts by either providing its own labor or subcontracting work to one of 22 subcontractors. Preferred contracted with building management company Harvest Properties to service a building located at 55 Hawthorne Street. Preferred, in turn, subcontracted its work cleaning the offices of the Hawthorne Street tenants to OJS, one of Preferred's regular subcontractors.

This editorial introduces the articles in our Special Issue (9:3–4) of Policy & Internet on "The Platform Society," arising from the journal's IPP2016 conference held at the University of Oxford on September 22–23, 2016. The editorial provides an outline of existing academic research on online platforms; discusses platform labor, platform governance, and platform politics as three key research themes; and discusses the implications for public policy and future research directions.

Pegida entstand aus einer nicht öffentlich sichtbaren Facebook-Gruppe am 11. Oktober 2014. Dem ersten öffentlichen Aufruf zu Demonstrationen in der Dresdner Innenstadt folgten am 22. Oktober 2014 ca. 300-350 Personen. Von dann an stieg die Zahl von Woche zu Woche geradezu explosionsartig an und erreichte am 12. Januar 2015 mit ca. 17.000 bis 25.000 Teilnehmern ihren Höhepunkt, bevor die Zahl der Teilnehmer - von vielen Beobachtern unerwartet - wieder auf weniger als 2.000 Personen sank. Der Autor geht auf der Basis eigener Erhebungen, die am 14. Dezember 2015 und am 06. Februar 2016 unter Teilnehmern des Pegida-Protestes in Dresden durchgeführt wurden, der Frage nach den Protestmotiven, ihrer Struktur und ihrem Wandel nach.

V članku avtor prikaže, kako so se različne razlage jugoslovanstva in samoupravljanja spopadale v javni razpravi o jezikovnem razsodišču po incidentu v Cankarjevem domu 22. marca 1982. Prva javna vsejugoslovanska debata o naravi slovenskega nacionalizma v osemdesetih letih je spojila problematiko rabe slovenskega jezika in položaj priseljencev iz drugih jugoslovanskih republik v SR Sloveniji v nevarno mešanico jezikovno-kulturno-ekonomsko-političnih nesporazumov, ki so zarezali v samo ideološko tkivo nadnacionalnega socialističnega (in samoupravnega) jugoslovanstva.

Eine Vielzahl an Menschen lebt ohne Aufenthaltsrecht in Europa. Über ihre Lebensrealität und die Gründe für ihren Status ist häufig wenig bekannt. Auch der staatliche Umgang mit ihnen ist nicht klar definiert - besonders hinsichtlich Abschiebungen. Brigitte Kukovetz zeigt in ihrer empirischen Untersuchung, dass sich Menschen mit irregulärem Aufenthalt in einem Catch-22, einem unlösbaren Dilemma zwischen unterschiedlichen Handlungsalternativen, befinden. Sie untersucht dieses Phänomen, indem sie die Interaktionen zwischen abschiebungsgefährdeten Migrant_innen, deren Unterstützer_innen und staatlichen Behörden analysiert und mögliche politische Handlungsspielräume diskutiert. Brigitte Kukovetz (Dr.), geb. 1976, ist Universitätsassistentin am Institut für Erziehungs- und Bildungswissenschaft der Universität Graz, Arbeitsbereich Erwachsenen- und Weiterbildung. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind (irreguläre) Migration, Weiterbildung in der Migrationsgesellschaft sowie Lernen und Widerstand in der Zivilgesellschaft.

This report describes the existing national political framework conditions, energy and land-use planning processes, strategies for energy planning and existing national measures in the field of urban and energy planning. In this research, the term measure refers to any action, program, policy or other activity that can demonstrate or influence a change in process. Amongst other background information, 22 planning processes and 89 measures from 11 countries are described in detail in this report.

We propose a generalization of simple games to partition function form games based on a monotonicity property that we define in this context. This property allows us to properly speak about minimal winning embedded coalitions. We propose and characterize two power indices based on such coalitions. Finally, the new indices are used to study the distribution of power in the Parliament of Andalusia that emerged after the elections of March 22, 2015.
