This manifest, attributed by some to Morgues, concerns the feelings which the Queen Mother has toward the government of France after she was expelled from the court and placed in "exile" in Blois. She defends all her actions while acting as Regent and disclaims any responsibility for the actions of the rebelling Princes and the foreign relations problems which came in 1617. This ""Discovrs"" is an informative work concerning the marriage party gathered at Bordeaux where Elizabeth, sister Louis XIII, was betrothed to the Prince of Spain. The work also contains details on the Huguenot princes who attempted to impede the progress of the royal procession from Paris to Bordeaux and the military precautions taken to maintain the general security. Der Unternehmer W. Foerster verhalf gemeinsam mit dem jüdischen Hilfskomitee in Tokio in der NS-Zeit zahlreichen verfolgten Jüdinnen und Juden zur Ausreise nach Japan. Auf Betreiben der Deutschen wurde er deswegen 1943 inhaftiert. Nach Kriegsende kämpfte er jahrelang um Anerkennung als NS-Gegner. Rezension: Der deutsche Ingenieur Willy Rudolf Foerster (1905-1966) siedelte 1931 nach Japan über, wo er erfolgreicher Unternehmer wurde. Während der NS-Zeit half er gemeinsam mit dem jüdischen Flüchtlingskomitee in Tokio einer Reihe jüdischer Familien aus Deutschland und anderen Ländern bei der Ausreise nach Japan und beschäftigte sie in seiner Fabrik. Dabei geriet er ins Visier der deutschen Auslandsvertretung in Tokio und wurde auf deren Veranlassung 1943 als sowjetischer Spion zusammen mit seiner japanischen Frau verhaftet und faktisch enteignet. Nach einem Jahr freigelassen, wurde er 1945 erneut verhaftet. 1947 wurde er zwangsweise repatriiert und sein Besitz eingezogen. Jochem rekonstruiert detailliert anhand unzähliger Akten das Wirken dieses NS-Gegners und Judenretters, der während und nach dem 2. Weltkrieg von seinen Gegnern verfolgt und diffamiert wurde. Erst kurz vor seinem Tod wurde er als politisch Verfolgter in der NS-Zeit gerichtlich anerkannt. Ergänzt wird das lesenswerte Buch von einem Porträt Foersters von seiner Tochter Erica (geboren 1941). Über seinen Sportskameraden Albert Speer lernte der Fotograf Walter Frentz die Regisseurin Leni Riefenstahl kennen, wurde ihr wichtigster Kameramann und fand sich bald im engsten Umfeld Adolf Hitlers wieder. Offiziell zuständig für Filmdokumentationen aus dem Führerhauptquartier, entstanden parallel Fotos, die nicht für die Veröffentlichung bestimmt waren. Drei Kapitel ragen aus seinem atemberaubenden Archiv besonders heraus: Die Bilder für seinen Film "Hände am Werk", noch entstanden unter dem Eindruck der Neuen Sachlichkeit, die rund tausend Köpfe umfassende Galerie der Nazi-Täter, die er in einem improvisierten Studio im Führerhauptquartier aufnahm, und die fast vedutenhaft romantischen Panoramen zerstörter deutscher Städte. Der Bildband wirft außergewöhnliche Schlaglichter auf die Mentalität der führenden Nationalsozialisten, den Umgang mit dem Krieg und ihren wachsenden Realitätsverlust.
