AbstractComplementing studies on youth mental health that were mainly depoliticised, this article offers a discursive examination of youth mental health in an Indonesian educational context. We argue that subject positions enabled by the discourse of mental health were at odds with dominant constructions of an ideal Indonesian citizen. Drawing upon qualitative data from 22 teachers and 20 students in a junior high school in Indonesia and analyses of educational policies and textbooks, we identified three discourses underpinning the ideal(ised) constructions of young Indonesian citizen, namely, neoliberalism, (masculine) patriotism and (religious) moralism and discussed how these inhibited youth mental health.

Illinois has an education system that includes regional cooperatives charged with supporting member districts in the provision of special education services for students from birth to age 22. Such support can include both direct services (i.e., early childhood services, special education classes in a separate building or in special education classrooms of the member districts) and indirect services (e.g., consulting services, professional development and coaching, assessment, related services). This interview is with three leaders in one such cooperative of 18 K-8 and high school member districts of varying size across 3 regions in 2 counties.

Since Tocqueville (1835), civil society has been recognized as a cornerstone of liberal democracy. But populists claim to be the only legitimate representatives of the people, leaving no space for civil society. Are populism and civil society enemies? To answer this question, we look at voters' choices in Europe. We find that individuals belonging to associations are less likely by 1.6–2.8 percentage points to vote for populist parties, which is large considering that the average vote share for populist parties is between 12% and 22%. This result survives a large number of robustness checks.

Przedstawiamy Państwu nr 53 czasopisma "Rozwój Regionalny i Polityka Regionalna" przygotowywanego przez Wydział Geografii Społeczno-Ekonomicznej i Gospodarki Przestrzennej Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu. Jest to zbiór ośmiu artykułów opracowanych przez autorów z ośrodków naukowych z całej Polski w formule Varia. Trzy z nich zostały napisane przez uczestników konferencji "Rewitalizacja miast i odnowa wsi", która odbyła się w dniach 22–23 października 2020 r. na Wydziale Geografii Społeczno-Ekonomicznej i Gospodarki Przestrzennej UAM i była trzecią edycją cyklu Dni Planisty organizowanego przez Akademickie Koło Naukowe Gospodarki Przestrzennej, bardzo prężnie działające przy naszym wydziale.

La política macroprudencial es la encargada de proteger la estabilidad del sistema financiero tratando de evitar que se generen perturbaciones sistémicas. El Real Decreto-ley 22/2018 puso a disposición del Banco de España tres nuevas herramientas macroprudenciales de aplicación sobre las entidades de crédito para que pudiera contar con instrumentos suplementarios para poder hacer frente a tales perturbaciones. Ejercicios retrospectivos contrafactuales muestran el volumen de capital regulatorio que hubieran exigido las nuevas herramientas de haber estado en vigor, y cómo compararía con las ayudas al sector financiero (recapitalizaciones) recibidas en la anterior crisis.

La place publique, centrale dans l'espace urbain, est le lieu où naissent le rassemblement et la protestation, et c'est aussi l'endroit où se révèle le revers de la ville, ses populations de chômeurs, de déclassés, désœuvrés volontaires, de visiteurs et riverains. Une « coupe » verticale dans cet espace, à Oran, seconde ville d'Algérie, donne à voir une architecture, des mentalités, mais aussi des contradictions, des personnages hors du portrait type du militant algérien. Une ville qui, parce qu'elle n'est pas la capitale, révèle mieux le pays profond. Celui qui fut la force du soulèvement du 22 février 2019.

In 2015, the European Commission decided upon new political directions toward open innovation. Our aim is to assess to which extend the European Innovation Prizes are enshrined in the open innovation's movement. 22 innovation's prizes have been scrutinized on the basis on official EC's documents and interviews carried out with stakholders. The results tend to show that if a degree of openess is noted, European Innovation prizes could tend toward greater citizens' inclusivity. From an academic viewpoint, we propose to combine the properties of the concepts of innovation prizes and communities.

September 2021 in zwei parallelen Vortragsreihen mit insgesamt 16 Fach- und Keynotevorträgen sowie sieben Plenarvorträgen aus Wissenschaft und Praxis Wege zu einer nachhaltigen und resilienten Produktion aufzeigt. Der vorliegende Tagungsband fasst die erarbeiteten Vortragsinhalte zusammen und stellt sie der wissenschaftlichen Community und dem interessierten Fachpublikum nun im Rahmen einer Open-Access-Veröffentlichung bereit. Im Mittelpunkt des Buches steht die Frage, wie Unternehmen im Rahmen einer zunehmend digitalisierten und vernetzten Produktion Nachhaltigkeit und Resilienz erzielen und so ihre die zukünftige Wettbewerbsfähigkeit sichern können. Die Beiträge wurden von den Mitarbeiterinnen und Miterarbeitern des Werkzeugmaschinenlabors WZL der RWTH Aachen und des Fraunhofer-Instituts für Produktionstechnologie IPT gemeinsam mit namhaften Expertinnen und Experten sowie Referentinnen und Referenten aus Industrie und Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Politik zusammengestellt und ausgearbeitet.

Causó severos daños en la población, fauna, flora, ciudades, aldeas, infraestructura vial, turística e industrial. Las acciones realizadas por más de 12.000 brigadistas universitarios, organizados en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras, contribuyeron a la reconstrucción nacional, a través de la administración logística de albergues temporales con el propósito de atender a la población afectada, planeación y construcción de nuevos centros habitacionales, limpieza de áreas afectadas y estudios desde diversas áreas del conocimiento acerca de los daños causados por el huracán.

This paper analyses the macroeconomic effect of legislated personal income tax changes in South Africa over the 1996-2019 period. We identify personal income tax shocks using a narrative approach and incorporate these shocks in a proxySVAR model. Our analysis shows that permanent changes in personal income taxes have a larger and significant effect on output through both the investment and consumption channels. We also find that personal tax cuts have a persistent effect on output through the investment channel in the 1996-2010 sub-sample. ; Note: On 22 November 2021, missing acknowledgements were added.

Nachdem die USA am 22. November 2020 den multilateralen Vertrag über den Offe­nen Himmel (OHV) verlassen haben, hat nun auch Russland angekündigt, den Austritt vorzubereiten. Macht Moskau ihn wahr, würde es vollenden, was Präsident Trump begonnen hat. Zwar ist ungewiss, wie die anderen 32 Vertragsstaaten reagieren, doch hätte der OHV seinen strategischen Zweck auf jeden Fall eingebüßt. Die europäische Rüstungskontrolle verlöre einen weiteren Eckpfeiler, und die militärische Lage würde noch instabiler, als sie ohnehin ist. Weil er gemein­same Beobachtungsflüge über den Vertragsstaaten gestattet, bewahrt der OHV nämlich auch in Krisenzeiten ein Mindest­maß an militärischer Transparenz und Vertrauensbildung. Der Kreml bewiese erneut, dass ihm "strategische Augenhöhe" mit den USA wichtiger ist als die Sicherheits­kooperation mit den Europäern. Zwar ist die Biden-Administration nicht abgeneigt, in den OHV zurückzukehren, doch genießt dies weder Priorität, noch dürfte sie dafür die nötige Mehrheit im Senat finden. Der Vertrag wird nur zu ret­ten sein, wenn sich die Staats- und Regierungschefs Deutschlands und der euro­päischen Partner nachdrücklich dafür einsetzen. (Autorenreferat)

Features of growth of microorganisms on a nutrient medium and their microscopic researches were studied. Cavitation treatment (22 kHz, 91 W, 1.65 W/сm3) of water with the simultaneous action of bubbled inert gases (argon and helium) on the viability of microbial cells (Diplococcus and Sarcina) are presented. The highest water disinfection was obtained for water samples with Sarcina lutea cells for both used gases under cavitation conditions. Both investigated types of cocci bacteria were destroyed faster under Ar/US-action after comparison of the effectiveness of the gas nature action on the water disinfection.

The aim of the research is to determine whether there is a statistically significant relationship between attachment and emotional intelligence. We used a revised questionnaire (ECR-R) to determine the relationship and we used the TEIQue-SF questionnaire to determine emotional intelligence. The research sample consisted of 260 respondents from 22 to 25 years, where the average age was 23.45 years. Within the results, we found that there is a moderately strong negative relationship between avoidant attachment and emotional intelligence and a strong negative relationship between anxious attachment and emotional intelligence.

AbstractIncreasing participation in family decision making is an integral part of adolescent development. This paper uses longitudinal data from four low and middle income countries—Ethiopia, India, Peru and Vietnam—to assess the relationship between young people's involvement in schooling decision making and schooling outcomes. In the pooled sample, compared to young adults who indicate to have no say in educational choices at age 19, adolescents who make these decisions unilaterally or jointly with parents are on average 17%–23% more likely to drop out by age 22. The effects are, however, heterogenous across countries.
