Проаналізовано динаміку зайнятості населення України за гендерною ознакою впродовж 2010-2015 років. The gender studies are extremely important for many countries in terms of the present. The characteristics and dynamics of gender inequality in the context of socio-economic development of the country and its regions require deep study in Ukraine. The purpose of the article is a study of gender-sensitive employment opportunities through comparison of men and women in obtaining employment, income, education, career growth for identifying ways mitigate gender inequality among workers, improve regulatory policy in the labor market. The gender - a category that reflects social gender, due to social structure, that based on the biological differences between men and women. The ideal of gender equality means that women and men should have the same social status, the same conditions for the realization of all human rights, the same opportunities to contribute to national political, economic and social development and to use its results. Over the past two decades, Ukraine managed to achieve significant improvements in establishing key principles of legislative and institutional gender equality. The analysis of the dynamics of Ukraine's population by gender, GDP comparisons with macroeconomic characteristics typical for Ukraine was made by the authors. The employment dynamics of the Ukrainian population by gender was analyzed in the period 2010-2015. Besides the data on the distribution of civil servants, managers and specialists on gender were systematized and processed in the article. However, the introduction of gender equality in the daily lives of Ukrainian society is a complicated and lengthy process that should include objective assessment of the current state in this area, both at the state and regional level. The results of the analysis deepen scientific understanding of the existence of gender issues in employment Ukraine. These problems are to some extent limited employment opportunities for women, their prospects for career growth, income and social security (unlike men). Addressing gender inequalities requires economic changes in social policies, which include changes in labor and social legislation to strengthen social protection targeting the most vulnerable, regulatory measures in the area of wages, consistent support further development of women entrepreneurship and self-employment.

While early assessments of neoliberalism stressed its destructiveness, more recent analyses have begun to consider and assess how its consolidation has involved the creation of new institutions and governmentalities to stabilise emergent contradictions and instabilities. This article traces how the social economy has been positioned in the OECD's public policy discourse as a flanking mechanism, and especially the friction in these policy proposals between an "entrepreneurial" vision that attempts to extend market relations and the social capital/social cohesion vision of meeting unmet needs and promoting participation in voluntary organisations. The tension between the entrepreneurial and social capital visions is a recurrent theme in the national case studies canvassed here, with the former frequently crowding out the latter. The article concludes by looking at how the women's movement in Quebec, Canada, has attempted to exploit this tension to push policies beyond neoliberalism. Adapted from the source document.

This research studies the influence/effect of the education level on various aspects of human wellbeing. From the official statistics of the OECD countries, we conclude that a number of important characteristics of wellbeing (level of interpersonal trust, subjective health assessments, confidence in the government) have a steady tendency to increase in practically all the analyzed countries as the level of education increases among employable citizens (25-64 years). In this paper, we identify the countries, in which various aspects of citizens' wellbeing have been found to reach minimum and maximum values. This analysis accounts for the education levels in accordance with the international description: below upper secondary, upper secondary or post-secondary non-tertiary, and tertiary. The estimated influence of the education level on various aspects of wellbeing appear to be a very promising direction of research for Russia: a country with a traditionally high level of education (of the population). Unfortunately, it is impossible to make a comparative analysis of the impact of education level of the population in Russia on certain wellbeing parameters using the data given in the collected volume Education at a Glance. OECD Indicators 2014. Russia has not joined this group of countries yet. However, the problem of measuring the relationship between the education level of the population and the subjective perception of wellbeing is very important for Russia. In particular, this stems/results from the need to develop a reliable system of indexes that would allow specialists to assess the continuous (lifelong) wellbeing as objectively as possible.

This article explores existing connections between disability studies and game studies, and suggests how the two fields might greater inform each other. While existing research explores the use of games to reduce pain and achieve rehabilitative goals, new research on games from a disability studies perspective can also consider the persuasive messages that games advance about disability, and how these messages affect questions of identity, inclusion, and acceptance. By arranging the relationship between disability and games into four topics – therapeutic and educational tools, game simulations, accessible features and controls, and narrative inclusion and identification – this article explores, attempts to address, represent, and simulate autism in digital games. It focuses on Auti-Sim (2013), a simulation exercise, and To the Moon (2011), an adventure role-playing game. Drawing on the writings of autistic activists and existing scholarship on disability simulations, the author considers how these games may influence the player's understanding of autism at social and political levels, and how these artifacts engage with the overarching goals of disability inclusion and autism acceptance.

L'objectif principal de la présente étude est d'examiner, brièvement, les dimensions multiples de l'émotion de la honte vis-à-vis de la mendicité dans l'espace urbain grec de nos jours. Afin de présenter l'image la plus complète possible concernant le sujet de l'expression de l'émotion de la honte durant la procédure de la mendicité, une approche méthodologique croisée a été utilisée, afin d'examiner non seulement la honte de ceux qui mendient, mais aussi l'émotion provoquée par celle des passants qui aident les mendiants, ceux qui font la charité. De plus, à travers une enquête ethnographique sur le terrain, nous avons relevé les aspects sociaux variés et multiples de la honte qui existent dans la relation interactive entre les donateurs-aumôniers et ceux qui reçoivent les mendiants.

"In recent years classical music has become a test case for debates over the future of culture. As times have changed, the value traditionally placed on this music has been challenged on social rather than aesthetic grounds. Lovers of classical music have been asked how its privileged history can be reconciled with growing demands for social justice and social inclusiveness. They have been asked how the music's standing as one of the great accomplishments of the West can be reconciled with the many injustices on which those accomplishments in part depended. How can the future of classical music escape the darker shadows of its past? 'Classical Music in a Changing World: Crisis and Vital Signs' addresses the crisis provoked by such questions in two complementary ways. Several of the chapters show how the classical music world is already grappling with the crisis, and finding vital signs beyond the borders of the music's traditional European strongholds: in Turkey from Ottoman times to the present, in Colombia, and in a Black American film. Other chapters identify areas that still need improvement, especially on behalf of female and LGBTQ+ musicians, and suggest how advances can be made both on concert stages and in schools.
