Five articles are combined in the discussion of Ashley Tellis' work "China's military space strategy" by Michael Krepon in "Opening Pandora's box", Eric Hagt in "Mirror-changing and worst-case scenarios", Shen Dingli's "China's defensive military strategy: the space question", Bao Shixiu and "Clearing up a misunderstanding", and Michael Pillsbury's "The politics of protecting military space assets". The final chapter is Tellis' response to all the scholars involved in the analysis of the original work. Krepon offers a brief summary of the work in four subcategories about ASAT (Anti-satellite) programs; Hagt reviews Tellis' viewpoint that China has strategic plans for ASATs and foresees the competition with the States; Dingli argues with Tellis' remark that China is against America when America supported China in Taiwan events; Shixiu and Pillsbury are very loyal to the work of Tellis except for minor misstatements.
