Mit der Studie Erfolgreich Studieren (Estud) wurden Studierende 2016 deutschlandweit zu ihrem Erfolg im Studium befragt. Der Fokus der Befragung liegt auf Erklärungsfaktoren von primären Effekten (Notenunterschieden zwischen sozialen Herkunftsgruppen) im Studium. Der Fragebogen enthält u. a. Fragen zu Motivationen, Kompetenzüberzeugungen, sozialer Integration im akademischen Umfeld, Studierverhalten und der Lebenssituation von Studierenden. Studierende von 18 Universitäten in 11 Bundesländer nahmen an der Onlinebefragung teil. Während die erste Befragung auf die Erhebung einer Vielzahl an theoretisch unterschiedlichen Konstrukten für fortgeschrittene Studierende fokussiert, ist die zweite Befragung auf die Nacherhebung dieser Konstrukte für die StudienanfängerInnen aus der ersten Welle gerichtet und enthält darüber hinaus einige zeitvariable Merkmale für die gesamten Befragten. Aktuell ist die erste Welle von Estud als SUF verfügbar.
