According to theories on direct foreign investments and examples in practise, and using directions from normative and historic method, in this paper are analyzed negative consequences of foreign direct investments on economies of different countries, with emphasis on agriculture. There are many support to foreign direct investments (FDI) from the government, as the only salutary solution for slacken economy, in countries like Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Albania, etc. Real positions of economies (in Poland, Hungary, Mexico, Egypt, Croatia, Serbia, Costa Rica, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, etc), where FDI were welcomed as the only salutary solution, recommended from IMF and WB, by title 'structural adjustment', 'macroeconomic stability and competitiveness' for economy and government of these countries, reveal the true face of FDI. According to Goldsmith E., Mender J., 1996, ruthless search for lowest wage, softest provisions (often on the edge of the law) and the cheapest resources in the aim of achieving extra profit, are often called 'race to the bottom', where 'employees and government race for job with other workers and other countries, and competition is based on following: Who will work for less money? Who will accept half time job? Who will abandon social insurance and provisions regarding protection on working place? Who will allow that toxic waste is thrown in his back yard?'. ; Shodno teorijama o direktnim stranim ulaganjima i primerima u praksi, koristeći uputstva normativne i istorijske metode, u radu se analizira negativni uticaj stranih direktnih investicija na privrede zemalja, posebno apostrofirajući poljoprivredu. Podrška Stranim direktnim investicijama (SDI) od strane vlasti, kao jedinom spasonosnom rešenju za posustalu privredu, u zemljama poput Srbije, Hrvatske, Albanije, Makedonije i sl., ima mnogo. Međutim, realno stanje privreda (Poljska, Mađarska, Meksiko, Egipat, Hrvatska, Srbija, Kostarika, Brazil, Bolivija, Čile, Tajland i dr.) gde su SDI dočekivane kao jedino spasonosno rešenje, preporučeno od strane MMF i WB, pod imenom 'strukturno prilagođavanje', 'makroekonomska stabilnost i konkurentnost', 'liberalizacija trgovine', za privredu i vlade tih zemalja, otkrivaju pravo lice SDI-a. Nemilosrdnu potragu za najnižim nadnicama, najblažim propisima (vrlo često na granici kriminala) i najjeftinijim resursima u cilju ostvarivanja ekstra profita, često nazivaju 'trkom do dna', gde se 'zaposleni i vlade takmiče za posao sa ostalim radnicima i drugim zemljama, a konkurencija se zasniva na sledećem: Ko će raditi za manje novca? Ko će pristati na pola radnog vremena? Ko će se odreći zdravstvenog osiguranja i propisa o zaštiti na radu? Ko će dozvoliti da mu se otrovni otpad baca u dvorište?'.

The research was done empirically in order to determine the relationship between socio-demographic variables and respondents' opinions on the advantages of the tourist offer of Belgrade over other European capitals as tourist destinations. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis (percentages, arithmetic mean), Chi-square test, t-test, one-factor analysis of variance, multiple linear regression and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The level of statistical significance was set at p<0.05, and all obtained data were processed in the SPSS program, version 23.

The paper examines consumer impulsiveness and post-purchase dissonance among female students as well as their relationship with personality traits, self-esteem and menstrual cycle. The study involved 253 female students pursuing Bachelor's, Master's and PhD degrees at the Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Technical Sciences and Faculty of Arts of the University of Priština in Kosovska Mitrovica. The instruments used in the study were the impulsiveness scale, the consumer regret scale, and the self-esteem scale. The analysis indicated that these are highly reliable instruments whose items can be regarded as homogeneous and representative. The results obtained show that consumer impulsiveness among the female students is at an average level, whereas the post-purchase regret is at a lower level compared to the theoretical average. In addition, a positive correlation was found between consumer impulsiveness and neuroticism, while self-esteem has a negative correlation with consumer impulsiveness and is its significant predictor. On the other hand, there is a negative relationship between post-purchase regret and cooperativeness, conscientiousness, openness to experience, and self-esteem. Conscientiousness and self-esteem can also be identified as predictors of post-purchase regret among female students, with self-esteem having a greater independent contribution.

As the achievements of the modern civilization and the result of the dominant trend of modern science, the existing methodological concepts of scientific progress analysis are incomplete and inadequate. Institutionalization of science comes to redefining the hierarchy and heterarchy in the organization of scientific research, which raises the level of cognitive effects from the individual to the collective level, leading to the establishment of a new relationship between the individual, the scientific, and ideological institutions. Contradictions between cognitive status and interests of each of the agents (operative, scientific, and ideological institutions) must be reflected in a scientific paper and thus the overall trend of progress in science. Rationality of an agent is a function that influences cognitive and institutional interests.

This paper postulates that the effect of e-commerce on firm performance is not direct and needs to be examined using mediating factors. The Ordinary Least-Squares (OLS) model was employed with the data of the Flash Eurobarometer 439 Survey entitled The Use of Online Marketplaces and Search Engines by small and medium enterprises. The obtained findings provide support for the mediating hypothesis. To be more precise, while the relationship between e-commerce and firm performance is negative, it is positively mediated by certain types of internet sales channels. In particular, the benefits of e-commerce in terms of higher sales are more pronounced when firms use commercial websites and online marketplaces. On the other hand, the interaction between e-commerce and search engines has an insignificant effect on firm performance. This study advances research on e-commerce by emphasizing the importance of mediating effect.

Viticulture is an important branch of Serbian agriculture. It has a long tradition, but there is the decreasing trend both in areas under vineyards and in grape production. The analysis intends to answer the question what are the reasons for those trends. The main goal of the paper is to analyse the relationship between the decrease in areas under vineyards and the level of investment effectiveness in this type of production. The paper analyses the influence of the governmental agrarian policy measures onto increase of investments′ effectiveness in vineyard establishment. The government has adopted the measures for subsidising the establishment of vineyards. The research analyses the economic effectiveness of investments by using the calculation of investments as well as dynamic multi-periodic methods of investment analysis (Net Present Value - NPV and Internal Rate of Return - IRR). The data for investment analysis (investments, the value of production, operating costs) have been collected by the farms through the survey made in Central Serbia, while the data on the governmental subsidies have been taken from The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia. The analysis has shown that investments into vineyards are not profitable without governmental subsidies and support.

Automatic Identification Systems (AIS) and Automatic Radar Plotting Aids (ARPA) are commonly used to detect targets for collision avoidance. However, AIS cannot detect targets without AIS transmitters and ARPA has limitations due to blind sector and small targets may not be detected. Advances in computer performance and video-based detection generated much interest in developing intelligent video surveillance systems to achieve autonomous navigation. To develop a reliable collision avoidance system, we propose the use of a visual camera for real-time object detection and target tracking. Moreover, the system should follow the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs) to avoid catastrophic accidents. In this paper only a part of the system is presented. For real-time object detection, the You Only Look Once (YOLO) ver. 3 convolutional neural network is used, and the target tracking filter based on a Kalman filter with built-in estimated relative position and velocity.
