AbstractAll environmental laws are important, but some are more important than others. Most businesses will not have the time or money to do absolutely everything, and it therefore makes sense to target those measures which will have the greatest impact. Drawing on data from the Yorkshire and Humberside region, this paper analyses the regulatory issues which are of critical importance for businesses.
