The article focuses on the terminology of English law as a system. It deals with the main specific characteristics of the English legal terminology and studies the systemic nature of the terminology of Criminal Law. Nowadays, an increasing role of the study of professional language (Language for Specific Purposes) is obvious since it is a means of dissemination and exchange of professional information and a means of communication in the professional discourse. It is a system of terms that constitutes the core of the Language for Specific Purposes. The study of terminology is of paramount importance for the legal sphere of human activity where the accuracy of interpretation plays a very substantial part. Legal terms have a number of specific characteristics, such as: abstract nature of legal notions; introduction of new terms by regulatory organizations; an important role of judicial interpretation in constituting shades of meaning of a legal terminological unit; and the fact that a legal term may belong to a particular area of Law, which makes it possible to refer it to the category of general legal, branch-wise, or inter-branch vocabulary. Every term has its particular place among other elements of a system and is related to them in a particular way. A terminological system should be considered as a whole, and there are particular hierarchical relations between its elements. Within a terminological system, it is possible to seta hierarchy of generic and specific terms that can form the so-called semantic field. One of the features demonstrating the systemic links within a terminology is the existence of some typical structural models, according to which terms are coined. An important criterion is the predominance ofterminological word-combinations of a certain type. For example, in the terminology of Criminal Law the models Noun + Preposition + Noun and Adjective + Noun are the most common structural models. Another important criterion of a systemic nature of terminology is the existence of antonymous relations between terminological units. Undoubtedly, systemic approach to terminological studies allows optimizing the learning process.

INTRODUCTION: Arabic-speaking migrants have constituted a growing population in recent years. This entails major challenges to ensure good communication in the healthcare encounter in order to provide individual and holistic healthcare. One of the solutions to ensure good communication between patient and healthcare staff who do not share the same language is to use a professional interpreter. To our knowledge, no previous qualitative studies have been found concerning Arabic-speaking migrants and the use of interpreters. This study aims to ascertain their individual experiences which can help extend our understanding of the studied area. METHOD: A purposive sample of 13 Arabic-speaking persons with experience of using interpreters in healthcare encounters. Data were collected between November 2012 and March 2013 by four focus-group interviews and analysed with qualitative analysis according to a method described for focus groups. RESULTS: Four categories appeared from the analysis: 1) The professional interpreter as spokesperson; 2) Different types of interpreters and modes of interpretation adapting to the healthcare encounter; 3) The professional interpreter's task and personal properties affected the use of professional interpreters in a healthcare encounter; 4) Future planning of the use of professional interpreters in a healthcare encounter. The main findings were that the use of interpreters was experienced both as a possibility and as a problem. The preferred type of interpreters depended on the interpreter's dialect and ability to interpret correctly. Besides the professional interpreter's qualities of good skill in language and medical terminology, translation ability, neutrality and objectivity, Arabic-speaking participants stated that professional interpreters need to share the same origin, religion, dialect, gender and political views as the patient in order to facilitate the interpreter use and avoid inappropriate treatment. CONCLUSION: The study showed that the personal qualities of a good interpreter not only cover language ability but also origin, religion, dialect, gender and political views. Thus, there is need to develop strategies for personalized healthcare in order to avoid inappropriate communication, to satisfy the preferences of the person in need of interpreters and improve the impact of interpretation on the quality of healthcare.

Abstract Inventory Control is a mechanism for recording and reporting of inventory items. Nowaday the company / government agencies to apply the principles of the involvement of a number of applications and information technology that enables integration of all local procurement of goods and services into a process more efficient, effective, open and competitive, transparent, equitable, non-discriminatory and accountable. Long-term goals and targets of this research is to build an electronic inventory system of goods (inventory control) that can be applied at the Polytechnic. Thus the realization of a system of recording goods in the polytechnic process on line. Inventory system is built using the Zachman Framework and methodology to facilitate the encoding using object-oriented methods with UML (Unified Modeling Language) as the language in models design. Inventory system begins with the identification of system needs. Based on these needs will be the system design, which is modeled using UML. The results of this thesis in the form of an inventory system design Internet-based procurement has facilities to manage storage and recording of goods that are expected to occur no clerical error recording. This study presents the research results of the project entitled Typical Features of "Outstanding" Language Teaching during the First Years of School (first school- ing cycle)– Building Knowledge from Teaching Practices. The study attempted to determine which features characterize outstanding teaching practices during the first years of school, based on a qualitative analysis, inductive in nature, of two sources of information: (a) a documental source, consisting of theoretical developments and researches as well as of documents on outstanding system- atized experiences in language teaching; and (b) a discussion group with seven distinguished teachers from different parts of the country, with a career path in the didactics of language. From the findings, it can be seen that an outstanding teacher emerges as an implied subject, with his/her own ethical, political and so- cial convictions. These beliefs act as the site where the key decisions guiding their actions are taken. The choice for a theoretical posture, for an approach, for a way to give form to their didactic challenges are all subordinated to such convictions. ; Se presentan resultados de la investigación Rasgos característicos de la enseñanza "destacada" del lenguaje en los primeros años de escolaridad (primer ciclo): Construyendo saberes desde las prácticas docentes, que buscó determinar rasgos que caracterizan las prácticas destacadas de enseñanza en los primeros grados de escolaridad, a partir de un análisis cualitativo, de tipo inductivo, de dos tipos de fuentes de información: a) una fuente documental, conformada por desarrollos teóricos e investigaciones y documentos sobre experiencias destacadas sistematizadas en el campo de la enseñanza del lenguaje; y b) un grupo de discusión con siete docentes destacadas de diferentes regiones del país, con trayectoria en el campo de la didáctica del lenguaje. Desde los hallazgos es posible reconocer, como resultado central, que el docente destacado emerge como un sujeto implicado con sus convicciones éticas, políticas y sociales. Estas convicciones operan como el lugar desde el que se toman las decisiones claves que guían su actuar: la opción por una posición teórica, por un enfoque, por un modo de configurar sus apuestas didácticas se subordina a dichas convicciones.

Статья посвящена осмыслению историософских и культурологических взглядов Ивана Нечуй-Левицкого и Юрия Липы, обнародованных в публицистике конца ХІХ первой половины ХХ века. Основное внимание сосредоточено на эволюции представлений о народе, народности, нации, процессе создания нации и истории государственности, особенностях украинской культуры, задекларированных обоими писателями в своих трудах. Несмотря на принадлежность художников к, так сказать, разным культурно-историческим эпохам авторы статьи стараются реконструировать непрерывность украинского национального самоосознания, которое прошло исторический путь от формулировки тезиса о культурной отделенности народа до декларации политической и государственной независимости. Нечуй-Левицкого и Юрия Липы яркие репрезентанты такой эволюции. ; The main subject of the article is historiosophical and culturological conceptions of well-known Ukrainian writers Ivan Nechuy-Levytsky and Yuriy Lypa. Their publicistic works, as well as prose ones (novels, stories and short stories) represent the evolution of different historical, cultural and philosophical conceptions ("people", "folk", "nation", "nation building", "state history"), Ukrainian culture and literature specific features in colonial conditions. The authors pay attention to "Ukrainians in literature controversy with Muscovy" by I. Nechuy-Levytsky and "The Mission of Ukraine", "The Partition of Russia" and "Fight for Literature" by Y. Lypa as important works for understanding the Ukrainian national self-consciousness and the process of its formation from cultural (and literary) separatism to Ukrainian political and state independence. I. Nechuy-Levytsky ("Ukrainians in literature controversy with Muscovy" and "Contemporary literary movement") represents the idea of Ukrainian cultural and literary separatism from Russia (Russian Empire). The writer underlines the main problems of Ukrainian language and literature their development in colonial dependence, prohibition and repression, the linguistic discrimination etc. Y. Lypa goes further: Ukrainian cultural (and language) independence for him expresses national identity of Ukrainians and their political and state ambitions. So, in his articles "The Mission of Ukraine", "The Partition of Russia" and "Fight for Literature" Y. Lypa promotes the idea of Ukrainian sovereign state, based on national identity, history, language and literature and Ukrainian-Russia mental incompatibility. Thereby, I. Nechuy-Levytsky and Y. Lypa's conceptions must be understood as a part of Ukrainian anti-colonial discourse.

The main idia of the article is to describe the humanitarian relations of the Altai region and the federal Land of Saxony- Angalt. The item is to represent the difference of the meaning of such words as «humanitarian» and « humanitarian relations». The problem is that there are some differences in understanding of this type of cooperation. In European Union, «humanitarian collaboration» mean protection of human rights, the provision of emergency relief (food supply, rehabilitation of health services, mine soils etc.). But in Russia «humanitarian cooperation» and «humanitarian collaboration» has the same meaning and covers an area of cultural relations, inter-civilizational, civil society dialogue and relations with compatriots abroad. In this case it can play a «soft power» between the Germany and Russian cooperation and regional relations. In the development of regional cooperation between some Germany federal Lands and regions in Russia, author gives us example of such communication and describes the humanitarian relations between the Altai region and the federal Land of Saxony- Angalt. There is a German national region in Altai, which has its own territory, low and budget. People there can choose the school and language of education: Germany or Russian. So, in this article author wants to describe how to make strong political and economic relationship which is basic on cultural and humanitarian communication. The author give us brief information about the history of the in the Altai region, it's participation in joint projects with Germany, learning Germany language as a home language at the local and regional levels in German national region. For the regional development in Russia, existence of a common culture, ethnicity and friendly relations makes cooperation easier and beneficial. It's an example for other regions how to lead international activities and how to make the Regional economic growth up. Actually, this type of cooperation is one of the areas paradiplomacy and for today is a new phenomenon in Russia. And the example of the relations of the Altai region and the federal Land of Saxony- Angalt is an example of paradiplomacy in Europe and America. In this case, author gives us the meaning of such communication in Russia.

ABSTRACT Ahead of the 2014 election, political and social issues become topics that are often raised on the television talk shows. The existence of a talk show as visual discourse is interesting to study because it can influence public opinion on an issue which involves public figures. In addition to raising the popular issue, the talk show is also designed to perform a professional host and resource person who is in the issue. Mata Najwa talk show on Metro TV is one of the talk shows that features the visual power. By using the studio design as a talk space background, this program focuses on the visual power of Najwa Shihab as the host and resource person appearances where the body of participants become a construction of media to attract the audience's attention. This study discusses one of epi- sodes of 'Mendadak Capres' that presents a public figure Rhoma Irama as resource person. Qualita- tive analysis with Social Semiotic approach puts participants as part of discourse elements in the production. The focus of discussion include visual signs which consist of facial expressions, hand gestures and body position of the host and the resource person to build their identity and power in the visual discourse of the conversation. The body language of participants becomes important because it can build the audience perception and support atmosphere for discussion. This study can also be a model that the power of a talk show lies not only on the topic, but also on the visual power of the participants through their body language. Introduction and objectives: Knowing and analysing the working preferences and possible intentions of emigrating in Year 4 Nursing students at the University of Murcia (Spain). Method: Concurrent and incidental descriptive design study, to be done after a bibliographic analysis. 37 tests were included. Participants received personally a survey of socio-demographic variables and intention for the future. The statistical analysis of the data was carried out by SPSS 15.0. Results: Out of the 37 survey respondents, a 35.1% were male and a 64.9% were female, with ages ranging from 21 to 50 years old. Most of the respondents (94.6%) know at least another language. The most desired future intention is to work in Spain (40.5%), followed by doing area specialization (EIR) (35.1%); the second intention shows the same preferences as the first one. In both cases, emigration was chosen by a 15%. Not to have a good command of a foreign language is an excluding factor when it comes to emigrating, although speaking a foreign language is not determining to emigrate. All of the respondents who chose to emigrate were under 25 years old. None of those over 25 years old chose specialising as a first option, whereas this was the preferred option among those under 25. Conclusions: Young Spanish nurses decide to develop their profession outside of Spain, driven by a need to the interest in working abroad. Located at the center of Africa, Oubangui Chari, ex French colony reached independence August 13th, 1960 and became the Central Africa Republic. The applicable duty and the legal organization remained strongly influenced by the legal culture of France, some not hesitating to speak about true imitation. Apart from a trend use the technique of "copy-sticking", it is important to stress that the French right remains applicable on the Central Africa territory under the terms of the PLANTEY ordinance of October 6th, 1958 which granted survival, in the new States having reached independence, with the colonial texts as long as the local legislative power would not have had which in differently…It is consequently not astonishing that the population Central African, mainly illiterate (nearly 70%), and speaking the national language the "Sango" rejects this law statute in foreign language in which it does not find a reference mark and continuous to take out to the traditional right and usual legal proceedings (justice of the chiefs of district, village, religious leaders etc.). Not only do they mediate meaning in a seemingly universal language (Fromm 1981), but their relevance for the construction of perception and beliefs cannot be underestimated. In global, political and religious discourses, controversies often revolve around images. The influence visuality has on the forming of ideas has already been discussed in the 1930s (Freud 1932). Today, even neurobiologists acknowledge the influential power of mental images (Hüther 2004). But, despite the well acknowledged impact the Pictorial Turn has had up to date, discourse analyses are typically carried out solely on linguistic material. Nevertheless, even in the Foucauldian sense the term "discourse" relates to epistemes and power not only conveyed by language, but also by pictures and images, in "a mushy mixture of the articulable and the visible" (Deleuze 2006). Nonetheless, the specific characteristics of pictures and images render analysis ever more difficult. Visual representations are a case sui generis. They cannot be transcribed into language completely. Research on visual artifacts can be put to work as a disclosure of how symbolic orders and the accordant identities are constructed. Something present, a picture or an image, is analyzed with regard to its ideological implications, as studies related to Cultural Studies usually do. Yet, beyond the visible picture, if representation is the making-present of something that's absent (Pitkin 1967), what respectively who is being made absent by the presence of the visible? The ambiguity of representation as "standing for" versus "depiction of" might at the same time enable a critical approach in the analysis of visual discourse. In this article, I attempt to conceptualize a methodological approach for conducting discourse analyses on visual material. For this purpose, I will introduce a dialectical notion of representativeness as imagery that draws on Gayatri C. Spivak's critique and Hannah Fenichel Pitkin's Political Theory of representation, as well as on Siegfried Kracauer's deliberations on film. Finally, I am going to give an example for putting this approach into research practice.

By deploying a cyberculture theory of cyborg politics in my literary analyses of Asian American literature, I deconstruct Asian American subjectivity through the trope of transnationality. In the Asian American transnational, I locate four prominent traits of Donna Haraway's socialist feminist cyborg: boundary transgression, the recognition and re-scripting of myth, simulations of identity, and coalitions of affinity. By adopting the language of cyberculture, I envision Asian American literature as a technologized textual landscape where narrative becomes virtual narrative such that we draw away from the static nature of a representational politics of identity in order to formulate articulations on a simulational politics of identity. Brian Massumi advocates privileging simulations of identity because unlike representations of identity that cannot move into the realm of the virtual due to being entrenched within a static grid of immobile significations, simulations allow us to imagine mobile concepts like movement, affect and sensation in the discourse of culture and power. Recognizing the Asian American transnational's propensity to transgress boundaries just as readily as the cyborg, I examine the transnational's capacity to recognize, reveal, and contradict hegemonic constructs that sustain the mythology of coherent subjectivity, seamless national identity and the U.S. nation as the democratic ideal. The indeterminate nature of the Asian American transnational limns how the racially-marked Asian American body contradicts, exacerbates and exceeds the circumscriptions of U.S. national identity. In five Korean American novels, I investigate indeterminacy in Korean American narrative and subjectivity such that it demonstrates the Kandice Chuh's suggestion to deconstruct Asian American subjectivities in order to formulate a more subjectless discourse. By deconstructing a particularized identity such as Korean American identity, I deploy my investigation in a language specific enough to make significantly concrete arguments for deconstructing Asian American subjectivity overall. Finally, I demonstrate the efficacy and cogency in formulating a critical language of affect into the discourse of literary scholarship due to my conviction that affect is not only a crucial space where we might imagine an emergent liberatory politics but that affect is also a critical tool where such a politics of movement and change can indeed materialize.

Abstract
The article deals with the transformation of an experimental ontology, classifying selected declarative knowledge for the domain of thematic cartography, into classes and interfaces of the Java language. The reason for this transformation is to transfer the declarative knowledge from the field of thematic cartography into the form of a program code in the Java programming language. The resulting program code containing declarations of interfaces and classes will be further used for creating a software application for an intelligent system for the interactive support of thematic map creation. The upcoming pilot project of this knowledge system is designed for the users without necessary cartographic knowledge, which will allow them to create interactively thematic maps and provide them with the support. The purpose of the use of such a tool is to prevent the users from deviating from established cartographic rules and avoid the occurrence of gross errors in resulting maps.
A properly compiled knowledge ontology facilitates the design of the prepared intelligent cartographic application, as the use of cartographic knowledge is enabled based on the automated transformation into the program code in the Java language. The generated program code contains declarations of basic concepts of thematic cartography, their structuring into classes corresponding to the source structures described in the ontology. The code also contains descriptions vertical and horizontal relations between the declared classes and also the interface for access to these classes and relations. The automated transformation of ontology into the Java code is not completely lossless. The examples of a transformation of individual components of ontology (classes, individuals, and object and datatype properties) into interfaces and classes in Java show the differences occurred during the transfer of the declarative knowledge into the program code. From these examples it is clear that the elements of ontology component description are or are not transformed into the Java code in full. The article proposes recommendations how to optimize the knowledge description on the part of ontology in order to minimize possible losses of the transformation of knowledge into the Java code

A substantial and growing share of the population, immigrant children are more likely than children with native-born parents to face a variety of circumstances, such as low family income, low parental education, and language barriers that place them at risk of developmental delay and poor academic performance once they enter school. Lynn Karoly and Gabriella Gonzalez examine the current role of and future potential for early care and education (ECE) programs in promoting healthy development for immigrant children. Participation in center-based care and preschool programs has been shown to have substantial short-term benefits and may also lead to long-term gains as children go through school and enter adulthood. Yet, overall, immigrant children have lower rates of participation in nonparental care of any type, including center-based ECE programs, than their native counterparts. Much of the participation gap can be explained by just a few economic and sociodemographic factors, the authors find. To some extent, the factors that affect disadvantaged immigrant children resemble those of their similarly disadvantaged native counterparts. Affordability, availability, and access to ECE programs are structural barriers for many immigrant families, as they are for disadvantaged families more generally. Language barriers, bureaucratic complexity, and distrust of government programs, especially among undocumented immigrants, are unique challenges that may prevent some immigrant families from taking advantage of ECE programs, even when their children might qualify for subsidies. Cultural preferences for parental care at home can also be a barrier.
Thus the authors suggest that policy makers follow a two-pronged approach for improving ECE participation rates among immigrant children. First, they note, federal and state ECE programs that target disadvantaged children in general are likely to benefit disadvantaged immigrant children as well. Making preschool attendance universal is one way to benefit all immigrant children. Second, participation gaps that stem from the unique obstacles facing immigrants, such as language barriers and informational gaps, can be addressed through the way publicly subsidized and private or nonprofit programs are structured.

Esta investigación se constituye en un aporte de carácter pedagógico metodológico y académico al área de Lengua Castellana y Literatura, en el sentido que se asume el estudio, el aprendizaje y la enseñanza de la lengua como un proceso dinámico, pensado y construido tanto por el docente como por los estudiantes. Esta investigación busca fortalecer los procesos de lectura, a partir de la literatura infantil en los niños de preescolar (primer grado) de básica primaria en los de centros de práctica pedagógica investigativa. El proyecto tiene una orientación de corte significativo y semiótico donde el acto de leer es asumido como un proceso de interacción entre un sujeto portador de saberes culturales, intereses, deseos, gustos, etc. y un texto como soporte portador de un significado desde una perspectiva cultural política, ideológica y estética particularque postula un modelo de lector. Para analizar dichos procesos se tomaron como base los criterios consignados en los Lineamientos de Lengua Castellana y los postulados hechos por Teu Van Dijk y María Cristina Martínez.ABSTRACT: This research constitutes a methodological contribution pedagogical and academic the area of Spanish Language and Literature, in the sense that it is assumed the study, learning and teaching of language as a dynamic process, designed and built both by the teachers as students. This research seeks to strengthen the processes of reading, from children's literature in preschool children (first grade) elementary school teachers in the teaching practice of research centers. The project has a significant cut orientation and semiotic where the act of reading is taken as a process of interaction between a carrier subject of cultural knowledge, interests, desires, tastes, etc. and text as a support carrying a meaning from a cultural perspective of politics, ideology and particular aesthetic that posits a model of reader. To analyze these processes were taken on the criteria set forth in the Guidelines of Spanish Language and the assumptions made by Teu Van Dijk and Maria Cristina Martinez.
