The object of the article is to evolute Ryazan province (which was situated close to the capital city) peasants' reaction to the crucial political events of 1920s.

Diaz et al. (1) proposed an “interdisciplinary framework for the analysis of relationships between functional diversity, ecosystem services, and human actions.” Their framework addresses the linkages between land uses and ecosystem service (ES) provision to inform decisions by relevant parties. We welcome the development and practical application of tools for analyzing the complexity of social-ecological systems (SESs), but there are fundamental gaps in the oversimplified framework of Diaz et al. (1). These flaws obscure critical aspects of the functioning of SESs, preclude their improved understanding, and thereby undermine the goal of fruitful scientific analysis.

It is also consuming ever greater amounts of energy; therefore, it is a significant source of CO² emissions. Thus, environmental and energy conservation issues have gained attention in recent years. The reality of rising energy costs and their impact on international affairs coupled with the increased concern over the global warming climate crisis and other environmental issues have shifted the social and economic consciousness of modern society. This paper discusses different aspects of green computing and its impact in India.

Дюги) и теории и практики построения общества на Востоке (А. Сукарно и М. Каддафи). ; The article deals with the theoretical aspects of social and economic imperatives of the Third Way. The author compares the concepts of the political and legal doctrine of solidarism in the West (L. Duguit) with theory and practice of civil society building in the East (A. Sukarno, M. Qaddafi).

This article explores the more obvious processes related to establishing a postgraduate journal and more basic, general questions about the research process, the academic community, being a researcher, and in particular the place of postgraduates in academia. These various aspects will demonstrate the relevance and opportunities the journal Electronic Nottingham Quarterly for Ideas, Research, and Evaluation (ENQUIRE) can provide, not only for postgraduates but also for the academic world in general. ENQUIRE hopes to serve as a base for more reflective, interactive and engaged social sciences, and we are convinced that postgraduate researchers can be highly influential in this process.

Besides, numerous insights on institutional design and possibilities of different reforms and changes in democratic and totalitarian states are examined. Finally, some important aspects related to historical institutionalism, rational-choice institutionalism and sociological institutionalism are discussed in more depth. To make the article more vivid, some practical examples taken from Lithuanian and international contexts are presented as well.

This historiographical review discusses recent literature on cities in modern Central Europe – mainly on Berlin and Vienna – which reflects the great variety of approaches to urban history and underlines the importance of urban history for the study of modernity. The history of urbanisation was a central event in the history of modernity. Especially in the Central European capitals of Berlin and Vienna, where modernisation and urban growth started later and then advanced quicker than in West European cities, all aspects of social, political, economic, and cultural modernity and its consequences can be observed in detail.

In many Countries social implications of epilepsy have determined the institution of legislative interventions to patient's rights. Therefore the clinician's responsibility includes helping patients in knowing their rights and the most important laws that have special relevance for people with epilepsy. This article discusses legislative aspects, referring to the Italian law, concerning epilepsy management. Many areas of the life of a person with epilepsy are considered, such as driving, employment, and recreational pursuits.

Также в работе выявляются тенденции к расширению тематики и фиксации терминологической системы политической и экономической коммуникации. ; The article contanins the analysis of the alternations in the contentive aspect of a legislative act connected to the evolutional dynamics of macrocontext, i.e. the social, economic, inner and outer political changes of the society. Moreover the tendencies for the broadening of the tropic and terminology fixation for the system of political and economic communication.

Traditionally, the framing and adoption of the Constitution have been interpreted as an attempt by the social and economic elite to halt the democratization of American political life. In contrast, recent scholarship on the Constitution have argued that the rationale behind constitutional reform was the need to create a central government that could address political problems arising from inter-state and international relationships. An important aspect of this reform was the centralization of fiscal and financial powers that would allow the federal government to act vigorously on the international arena in defence of American interests.
