Misinformation about abortion abounds in the United States. This may be due, in part, to laws in 22 states that require health care providers to present medically inaccurate or misleading information to people seeking abortion. Such information can negatively impact both providers and patients, particularly vulnerable populations who already face considerable challenges accessing abortion services. Health sciences librarians are a professional group whose core values prioritize access to evidence-based health information for all people, with the goal of facilitating informed health care decisions. This professional imperative suggests a role for librarians in the provision of evidence-based information around abortion. Drawing on our collective expertise in library science, medicine and public health, we propose that health sciences librarians build partnerships with public health departments and abortion providers to develop authoritative resources, advocate for change through legislative action, and raise public awareness about abortion misinformation.

Efforts to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 virus based on recommendations from government agencies across the world, such as physical distancing requirements, propelled university and college training programs into virtual learning environments in 2020. This unprecedented and largely unplanned shift to online/remote learning has led to novel pedagogical experiences for instructors, particularly those teaching in the field of health sciences, which typically rely on in-person and hands-on training to prepare students for their careers. Our manuscript aims to answer the research question, "What are the cross-cultural experiences of university instructors teaching students studying health sciences during a global pandemic?" The three authors of this manuscript are lecturers in higher education who teach in the health science programmes in different parts of the world (i.e., Australia, Pacific Northwest USA, Southwest USA). A reflective scholarship of teaching and learning method, collective autoethnographies, was used to examine the online/remote teaching experiences of the authors. Four shared themes emerged from our qualitative coding and reflective discussions, with our experiences highlighting the importance of human connection and comparisons to pre-pandemic teaching practice. Our reflections have implications for pedagogy and course design and highlight the limited support available for educators teaching during stressful times as we continue remote learning. These cross-cultural teaching experiences in health sciences provide important insights into cross-hemisphere discussions about teaching in a post-COVID world.

Abstract
The use of collaborative learning in the classroom or on virtual platforms has been demonstrated in the multiple works of educational research, the results are conclusive, the students that deal with the capacity of reasoning, the retention of concepts, communication skills and the organization, among others. In the health sciences, it is essential to work in the team, health services are in collaboration and the formation of multidisciplinary working groups. Doctors, nurses, pharmacists, biochemists, social workers, psychologists, among others, they must develop oral and written communication skills and be able to give medical advice that contributes to the patient's health. In other words, the very nature of medicine emanates from the social sciences and clinics and understands the patient as a subject with multiple needs, which can only be met by a team working with a common goal and collaboration to achieve it. We must teach students of health sciences to work collaboratively, the time to do it is during their school education, in simulated environments, so that, in clinical practice, they can form work teams that contribute to improving the condition of health of its population.That is why, in this work we reflect on the academic needs involved in the application of collaborative learning in undergraduate courses in health sciences.

Introduction: Stress among students is a major concern in tertiary education. This study determined the predominance source of stress among health sciences students in Malaysia. Methodology: Medical Student Stressor Questionnaire (MSSQ) represents 40 events possible sources of stress. was distributed to 248 health science students. Result and discussion: The MSSQ showed satisfactory level of psychometric property in the health science students. The main source of stress was the academic related stressor Conclusion: Academic requirement is the major stressor for the students. This finding is consistent with the literature and appropriate measures should be sought to prevent its unwanted consequences.

The Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries' (AAHSL's) involvement in national legislative activities and other advocacy initiatives has evolved and matured over the last twenty-five years. Some activities conducted by the Medical Library Association's (MLA's) Legislative Committee from 1976 to 1984 are highlighted to show the evolution of MLA's and AAHSL's interests in collaborating on national legislative issues, which resulted in an agreement to form a joint legislative task force. The history, work, challenges, and accomplishments of the Joint MLA/AAHSL Legislative Task Force, formed in 1985, are discussed.

Brought together by the newly formed Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (CAHS), recognized national leaders in the 6 health sciences disciplines consider the environment for conducting interdisciplinary health research (IDHR) in Canada. Based on first-hand knowledge and thoughtful reflection, the authors argue that although much progress has been made in support of IDHR in Canada, the practical experience of researchers does not always bear this out. This article examines government, industry and academia to identify the cultural and structural characteristics that demand, promote or prevent IDHR in each sector. At its heart is the question, How can universities best support and enhance IDHR, not only for the benefit of science, but also to meet the growing needs of industry and government for intellectual capital?
