The article discusses some approaches and specific ecological and economic indicators that, in the authors' opinion, have been used more than others in decision-making procedures, in public discourse, and in analysis in connection with the problems of spatial development, including scientific analysis. They are also used for comparative spatial analysis of socio-economic inequality. These include eco-intensity and decoupling coefficients, indicators of per capita environmental pressure and socio-ecological and economic well-being based on the expanded A. Sen's function calculated by region. It is also shown that the calculation of eco-intensity and decoupling without taking into account the accumulation of pollutants can cause a certain limitation of the potential of these indicators in the context of long-term consequences. The conclusion is justified that these tools for measuring socio-ecological inequality cannot be considered as interchangeable, and it is unlikely that «some are better than others». These indicators provide answers to various questions, and characterize the heterogeneity of socio-ecological conditions in the regions of Russia in different aspects. It seems more reasonable to use this tool as a whole, and apply its individual components depending on the specific tasks related to the spatial development of Russia

Modern multicultural space is a result of globalisation processes at all levels of human activity. However, a complex of tendencies towards unification gives rise to academic interest in the study of language in the aspect of its functional characteristics as a way of forming ethnocultural entity of a linguistic community. Dialects are a specific language subsystem, which has its own unique units for the process of nomination of persons, artifacts and natural facts of the surrounding reality. Due to its sphere of functioning, the word-formation formant –уш/а is a linguistic unit that is used by the dialect speakers for an alternative to the literary language way of creating nouns denoting plants, animals, and fish. Derivative words with such a suffix represent the value paradigm, verbalised through the relevant for a person qualities of objects, such as taste, colour, shape, place of growth, and functional properties. The appeal to dialectal derivative vocabulary with the archaic suffix, which is not currently used in the literary Russian language, gives an opportunity to describe the cognitive processes of the linguistic creativity of the Russian-speaking population in terms of its typical and unique features

The diversity of the problems of forestry in Russia requires a new common approach to solving them. One option is to conduct a comprehensive study of the factors influencing the development of the forest sector from different perspectives including climate change problem. The general logic of the analysis is based on the premise that the forest economy is in a mutual relationship with the climate change process. One of the major challenges for the future development of the Russian forestry are the insect pests' outbreaks, which cause forest fires and tree losses on vast territories, especially in Siberia. Economic and legal research on this aspect of forest sector development is still lacking. We suggest to design a new Integrated Assessment Model of the Russian forest sector with a special focus on the regions of Siberia, which will include key components reflecting microeconomic linkages within the sector, the macroeconomic environment, resource base dynamics, climate change trends and international trade. Forecasts made using this model will allow policy-makers to understand in depth both the possible effects of different measures and the effects of exogenous factors, such as forest fires and insect pests

The article discusses the boundaries and contours of the possible institutional behavior of private equity funds (PEFs) in the Russian Federation in modern conditions. It analyzes the transformation of PEF sectoral interests in the Russian assets of non-public companies in the period of economic instability. Besides, it gives a relevant assessment of changes in the regional aspects of interaction between PEFs and recipient companies from Russia against the background of sanctions and import substitution, as well as private equity cycle. The article presents the modern metrics of Chinese PEFs and a multi-level monitoring of existing Chinese PEF projects in the Russian economy. It also analyzes the effects of multi-agent relations of PEFs and target companies in Russia against the background of a gradual recovery of the country's economic growth. The article discusses the current and preferred format for the participation of investors in the PE market in the context of the adaptation of the Russian economy to the sanctions regime. It identifies the factors affecting the prospects and dynamics of the development of Chinese PEFs with an investment mandate for Russia and discusses the mechanisms of institutional support for expanding the presence of Chinese PEs in the Russian market for corporate control

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo central analizar la política de los Distritos Económicos en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, en tanto nueva forma de de intervención urbana sobre la base de la promoción de actividades con eje mayormente en la industria creativa. Los núcleos medulares de la intervención se sustentan fundamentalmente en: i) la transformación de viejos mercados o firmas industriales en áreas temáticas de promoción; ii) la convocatoria al sectorprivado por parte del Estado que actúa como facilitador del mercado; iii) la habilitación de una serie de incentivos económicos y acciones de fomento a las economías de aglomeración, con procesos de valorización inmobiliaria; iv) la escasa consideración de los intereses de la ciudadanía que reside en los ámbitos urbanos intervenidos. A partir de ello, se abordan los principales elementos conceptuales respecto a los debates sobre las ciudades, los procesos detransformación socio territorial y los modelos de intervención urbana en un marco de globalización y predominio neoliberal. Seguidamente, se dan cuenta de los aspectos metodológicos y se analizan las principales particularidades e implicancias políticas y sociales que asumen los Distritos como nueva forma de intervención urbana a partir de una lógica facilitadora del mercado al interior de la ciudad. ; The main objective of this work is to analyze the policy of the Economic Districts in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, as a new form of urban intervention based on the promotion of activities with a focus on the creative industry. The central nuclei of the intervention are based mainly on: i) the transformation of old markets or industrial firms in thematic areas of promotion; ii) the call to the private sector by the State acting as market facilitator; iii) the provision of a series of economic incentives and promotion actions to agglomeration economies, with real estate valuation processes; iv) the poor consideration of the interests of the citizenship residing in the intervened urban areas. From this, the main conceptual elements regarding the debates on the cities, the processes of socio-territorial transformation and the models of urban intervention in a context of globalization and neoliberal dominance. [EN] Up until the Covid-19 pandemic and the ensuing state of alarm that altered its normal functioning the museum didn't have a clear strategy regarding its digital aspects. During those months of uncertainty and growing online activity, there has been an increasing need for the museum to question the usual ways of doing. In the face of this new reality, it's clear that we need to define and implement a new and all-encompassing digital strategy. But what does "digital strategy" mean? What are the implications? It will probably require reviewing the museum project itself and the museum's objectives, deepening the knowledge of the public, defining a content strategy and a clear user experience, reviewing the communication channels and doing so in terms of accessibility. Asking what museum accessibility currently means and what digital accessibility is can help the museum identify the challenges it still faces in this area. This reflection is part of the Diagnosis of Accessibility of the Museums of the Basque Country project, which we at K6 Gestión Cultural have carried out this year at the request of the Basque Government. Abstract
The relations between Iran and East Africa are captured well by depicting the impact of the Shirazi (Persian) civilisation on the East African coast. But some influential scholars claim that historians tend to dismiss or trivialise the role played by the Shirazis in East Africa. The demonstrable impact of Shirazi civilisation in East Africa is evident in the expansion of trade between the East African coast and the Persian Gulf region with the expansion of Islam. The Persian language has bequeathed to the Kiswahili language many lexicons that are presently still accessible in the region. Persian poets influenced Kiswahili literature through their classic works. The influence of Persian architecture is seen in Shirazi building styles throughout cities including Zanzibar, Kilwa and Manda. Thus Shirazis brought Persian traditions and customs to East Africa, and some Shirazis intermarried with the Arabs and local communities. As compiled here from other sources, there is enough enduring historical evidence to demonstrate incontrovertibly the impact of the Shirazis in social, economic and political aspects of East African life. This legacy arguably justifies greater contemporary cooperation between East African nation states and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This appeal for candid talk about race exposes the paradox of Barack Obama's historic rise to the US presidency and the ever-increasing social and economic instability of African American communities. David H. Ikard and Martell Lee Teasley maintain that such a conversation can take place only with passionate and organized pressure from black Americans, and that neither Obama nor any political figure is likely to be in the forefront of addressing issues of racial inequality and injustice. The authors caution blacks not to slip into an accommodating and self-defeating "post-racial" political posture, settling for the symbolic capital of a black president instead of demanding structural change. They urge the black community to challenge the social terms on which it copes with oppression, including acts of self-imposed victimization.

AbstractNigeria has consistently been ranked over the years as one of the poorest nations of the world in spite of her abundant natural and human resources. Solutions to this intractable problem are being sought and restructuring the country's constitution to grant more economic power to state and local governments is suggested as a catalyst that could usher in development and prosperity. This paper aims to address whether restructuring economic aspects of Nigeria's constitution will help usher in prosperity in the country. A qualitative content analysis model was employed in this study. This research finds evidence that if genuinely pursued, economic restructuring has the potential to bring in significant economic progress/prosperity and development without breaking up the polity. It is recommended that to achieve these goals, the process of amending the national constitution must be made easier by the parliament and mutual trust among ethnic nationalities across the country must be cultivated and harvested.
