La Unión Europea (UE) es una organización en continua evolución desde su creación a mediados del siglo XX. Su capacidad de adaptación a las necesidades generadas por el proceso de integración es encomiable. La UE ha superado obstáculos imponentes, como la crisis derivada del rechazo a la Comunidad Europea de Defensa y la Unión Política Europea; la activa oposición de un titán político como el presidente francés, De Gaulle; diversas crisis económicas y monetarias; el Brexit y el auge del populismo. Constantemente, la UE ha superado las crisis que le afectaban con la introducción de elementos estabilizadores comunes introducidos por el proceso de integración, creando más Europa. En la actualidad se enfrenta a un nuevo reto, la adaptación a un progreso tecnológico brutal que influirá en el modelo de sociedad imperante en las próximas décadas. Ante este reto, la UE pretende crear un Mercado Único Digital europeo, entre otras iniciativas, que evidentemente tendrá una influencia substancial en las relaciones económicas entre sus miembros y a escala internacional. La UE ha superat obstacles imponents, com la crisi derivada del rebuig a la Comunitat Europea de Defensa i la Unió Política Europea, l'oposició activa d'un tità polític com el president francès, de Gaulle, diverses crisis econòmiques i monetàries, el Brexit i l'auge del populisme. Constantment, la UE ha superat les crisis que l'han afectat amb la introducció d'elements estabilitzadors comuns introduïts pel procés d'integració, creant més Europa. En l'actualitat, s'enfronta a un nou repte, l'adaptació a un progrés tecnològic brutal que influirà en el model de societat imperant durant les properes dècades. Davant aquest repte, la UE vol crear un Mercat Únic Digital europeu, entre altres iniciatives, que evidentment tindrà una influència substancial en les relacions econòmiques entre els seus membres i a escala internacional. Its ability to adapt to the needs generated by the integration process is commendable. The EU has overcome imposing obstacles, such as the crisis derived from the rejection of the European Defence Community and the European Political Union, the active opposition of a political titan such as French President de Gaulle, various economic and monetary crises, the Brexit and the rise of populism. The EU has consistently overcome the crises that affected it by introducing common stabilising elements introduced by the integration process, creating more Europe. The EU is currently facing new challenges, the adaptation to the outstanding technological progress that will influence the prevailing model of society in the coming decades. Faced with this task, the EU wants to create a Digital Single Market for Europe, among other initiatives, which will obviously have a substantial influence on the economic relations between its members and also internationally. This research focuses on the analysis of European developments around the digital environment and its influence on the own essence of the organisation.

Organic farming is based on care for the proper functioning of ecosystems, organisms with the simultaneous production of wholesome food raw materials. It fits into the concept of sustainable development by implementing the aspects: economic, social and environmental. Theoretical and empirical considerations concern the years 2006-2016 and are based on specialist literature and Eurostat data. The aim of the study was to determine the state of organic farming in Poland against the background of selected EU countries (Denmark, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Sweden, Portugal, Greece). Based on the investigation, we can see that organic farming has been developing dynamically in recent years on the global, European and Polish scales. There is a visible increase in the number of organic farms and the increase in the area of agricultural organic lands in the European Union. In the case of Poland, the importance of organic farming is growing and this process is often stronger than in other compared countries. On the basis of the conducted research it was shown that there are significant differences in the structure of organic agricultural land between chosen EU countries. In northern countries (Denmark, Sweden, Poland), arable land is predominant, while in the southern EU (Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal), the share of permanent crops was much higher than in the other analysed countries. ; Rolnictwo ekologiczne to gospodarowanie oparte na dbałości o prawidłowe funkcjonowanie ekosystemów i organizmów z jednoczesnym wytwarzaniem pełnowartościowych surowców spożywczych. Rozważania teoretyczne i empiryczne dotyczą lat 2006-2016 i bazują na specjalistycznej literaturze oraz danych Eurostatu. Celem opracowania było określenie stanu rolnictwa ekologicznego w Polsce na tle wybranych krajów Unii Europejskiej (Dania, Niemcy, Hiszpania, Francja, Włochy, Szwecja, Portugalia, Grecja). Na podstawie badań można zauważyć, że rolnictwo ekologiczne rozwija się dynamicznie w ostatnich latach w skali globalnej, europejskiej i polskiej. Widoczny jest wzrost liczby gospodarstw ekologicznych i wzrost powierzchni użytków rolnych w Unii Europejskiej. W przypadku Polski widoczny jest rozwój rolnictwa ekologicznego, a proces ten jest często silniejszy niż w innych porównywanych krajach. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań wykazano, że istnieją znaczne różnice w strukturze ekologicznych gruntów rolnych między wybranymi krajami UE. W krajach północnych (Dania, Szwecja, Polska) przeważały grunty orne, podczas gdy na południu UE (Hiszpania, Włochy, Grecja, Portugalia) udział upraw trwałych był znacznie wyższy niż w pozostałych analizowanych krajach.

This article explains the role of judicial review in European Community ("EC") Merger Control ("ECMR") by reference to the Airtours case and three other important recent judgments of the European Court of First Instance ("CFI") (Schneider, Tetra Laval and Lagardére), all decided in 2002. Article 230 of the EC Treaty, which governs actions for annulment of acts adopted by the EC Institutions "on the grounds of lack of competence, infringement of an essential procedural requirement, infringement of this [EC] Treaty or of any rule of law relating to its application, or misuse of powers," is considered only in the context of these cases. General questions of admissibility, evidence and procedure are outside the scope of this article.
