The article discusses the periods of environmental education (EE) development in connection with internal social and global international influences, mainly the effect of the First United Nations Conference on Human environment in Stockholm 1972, the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro and the 2002 Earth Summit in Johannesburg. It pays attention to the impact of the social background and the role of science and pedalogical research on the different stages in the curricular and textbooks development. The school subjects contents and educational technologies also evolved towards student-centered interactive education in school and out of school. A system of EE from nursery to postgraduate and lifelong education was developed in 1984 and a great part of it has been introduced in the different educational stages since then. After 1989 more than 132 NGOs and communities on ecology and environmental education were established and many others incorporated environmental education aspects in their activities. Still there are many unsolved problems in EE.

The archive documents are characterized through the context (social and political, organizational) of their origin, through the composition and fullness of retrospective information. The estimate of information potential of complexes of retrospective documentation for the study of different aspects of personnel evolution of regional structures of C.P.S.U. in post-war period is given.

Приведены теоретико-методологические аспекты природы собственности. На первом этапе проведен анализ методологических основ трактовки исследуемой категории: раскрыта сущность, понятие, типы, формы собствен-ности. Установлен двойственный характер собственности: экономический и социальный. Выделены основные функции собственности, имеющие социальную направленность для региона. Раскрыта значимость реформиро-вания собственнических отношений в условиях рыночной экономики. Обобщены теоретические основы государ-ственного регулирования отношений собственности. ; The article presents theoretical and methodological aspects of the nature of property. The first stage is devoted to the analysis of the methodological foundations for the treatment of the category under investigation. The authors discuss its essence, conception, types and forms of ownership. The dual nature of the property economic and social is deter-mined. The basic functions of property that are of social orientation for the region are identified. The importance to reform property relations under conditions of market economy is revealed. The theoretical bases of government regulation of property relations are summarized.

The television play has been recognized by scholars as the most influential genre in the flourishing television industry in China's new media landscape; yet little critical attention has been given to inquiry of why and how it functions as a dynamic cultural agent in the Chinese people's reconfiguration of their past and imagining of their everyday life. This paper investigates the intriguing socio-historical environment from which the genre emerged and its unique modes of operation by focusing on the television play of sentiment. It demonstrates that the television play embodies the many complex aspects of social forces and relationships contested in China's reform, suggesting, all at once, commercialization in Chinese society, the popular imaginary of morality and the state's conceptualization of a 'harmonious society', a strategic policy aiming at maintaining social balance while bypassing some of the thorny political questions in the post-revolution era. This article welcomes Born's proposal that the sociology of art learn from 'adjacent fields' that can 'augment the sociological repertoire'. It agrees especially that sociologists can learn much from the anthropology of art and material culture studies. However, it challenges Born's claim that the sociology of art has 'seen little progress in recent years' and thus questions certain aspects of her proposal for a 'post-Bourdieuian theory of cultural production'. The central argument is: rather than an 'analytics of mediation' — which Born recommends — the sociology of art can benefit from studying material 'mediators' at work in concrete artistic networks, and the role of aesthetic agency and art in the constitution of social life more generally. The ar ticle concludes that the path forward for a sociology of art may lie precisely in not trying to force a reconciliation between macro and micro approaches, or between humanities and social science perspectives.

It details the roles, rights and duties Teacher from the constitution of 1863, when Colombia was a State Land, to progress with the 1991 Constitution, rule highlighting the fundamental role of the social state of law in the building a pluralistic and democratic citizenship education.

The aims of this chapter are (a) to examine the economic progress of China using historical comparisons, (b) to analyze the psychological capital of China?s workforces, and (c) to highlight emerging issues associated with Chinese human resource management for sustainable development. The four-stage cycle ?Turbulent times ? Concessions, constraints, and reforms of the new regime ? Recovery of social productive forces ? Prosperity of economy and associated aspects? (TCRP) can be identified in the Chinese history, such as the golden age of the West Han and Tang Dynasties. AbstractAttempts to develop a better understanding of the interaction between the compensation environment and injured workers suggest that the compensation environment may negatively impact on the psychological wellbeing of injured workers. This study offers a complementary perspective to contemporary quantitative studies exploring the psychosocial aspects of workplace injury and disability, and contributes to the growing body of qualitative data on the interaction of personal and environmental factors influencing recovery from work injury. The beliefs and experience of injured workers, as explored through ethnographic interviewing, offer insight to the social meaning and relationships comprised in the compensation environment and reveal the pervasive impact of workplace injury across personal, social and occupational spheres. Poor claims administration and hostile interpersonal interactions are identified as particular sources of frustration and discontent for injured workers. Strong themes of perceived injustice emerge as a potentially valuable area for future research in improving the outcomes of compensable injury.

The article discusses the significance of cultural capital for the understanding of the field of housing in contemporary Britain. It explores the relationship between housing and the position of individuals in social space mapped out by means of a multiple correspondence analysis. It considers the material aspects of housing and the changing contexts that are linked to the creation and display of desire for social position and distinction expressed in talk about home decoration as personal expression and individuals' ideas of a `dream house'. It is based on an empirical investigation of taste and lifestyle using nationally representative survey data and qualitative interviews. The article shows both that personal resources and the imagination of home are linked to levels of cultural capital, and that rich methods of investigation are required to grasp the significance of these normally invisible assets to broaden the academic understanding of the field of housing in contemporary culture.

Le développement des accidents automobiles après la seconde guerre mondiale a eu pour conséquence essentielle d'engendrer des dommages corporels dans des groupes sociaux jusqu'alors relativement préservés, les blessures physiques mutilant principalement des militaires et des travailleurs manuels. Or, l'apparition de ces « nouvelles victimes » va désajuster les finalités sociales, économiques et politiques de l'indemnisation qui prévalaient, en « déréglant » certains principes implicites de hiérarchisation des corps (physique et social). L'évaluation du dommage corporel va alors être réformée sous l'impulsion d'assureurs, de médecins et de magistrats qui vont contribuer à sa « professionnalisation ». Des méthodes d'évaluation médicale du dommage corporel spécifiques au droit commun et indépendantes de celles prévalant dans les autres régimes (accident du travail, militaire) seront inventées. L'étude de ce qui peut être lu comme une remise en ordre permet alors d'analyser deux aspects centraux du processus de « professionnalisation » : d'abord, les logiques plurielles de l'acquisition progressive d'une légitimité institutionnelle ; ensuite, les répercussions de cette pluralité de logiques dans l'invention de nouveaux savoirs professionnels.

For me, since the 1980s, the distinctive event in the recent history of social and cultural anthropology in the United States has been a profound cutting of the discipline (or rather of this influential component of the four-field disciplinary organisation of general anthropology) from moorings that defined it through much of the twentieth century. Certainly the discipline is still wedded functionally to certain aspects of the institutional model which has shaped the identity of social and cultural anthropologists, as pioneered through the works of such figures as Bronislaw Malinowski in England and Franz Boas in the United States. Most anthropologists still begin their careers with a geographical area specialisation outside the U.S. However, few receive the intensive areas studies education that was available and encouraged in the U.S. during the 1950s through to the 1970s when, in the atmosphere of the Cold War and development studies, there was a huge investment in such interdisciplinary programmes that has since waned.

AbstractNightlife historically has been viewed as a social problem to be contained by licensing, policing and the management of supply. In the context of recent trends towards deregulation of hours and supply, fears have again resurfaced as to the detrimental impact of the 'night‐time economy' on street disorder and violence, concerns that have focused attention on the Licensing Act 2003. Utilizing a case study of the regulation of nightlife in the London locality of Southview, this article will explore how there has been ongoing and renewed attention on the problems associated with the night‐time economy centred on differentiating between risky and safe cultural and economic forms. The article will argue that the Licensing Act represents a consolidation of over a decade of regulatory change that has 'reordered' regulatory approaches to nightlife; one that has, in combination with other aspects of economic, social and cultural change, been productive of 'subcultural closure'.

Feminism movement with struggle for gender as its alienation movement is still a big agenda, up to now, in struggling similarity and equality of women right to men. In its early, this movement was begun with a demand of unfairness of treatment towards women and than it extended to claim for social unfairness through the demands of right equality that they want to reach. Actually, the gender issue, or what they called "feminism", was an effort to rise women position and to ommit a gap between men and women as minimal as they could, either in social-culture or political-economy aspects, etc. This article will try to describe about the feminism movement in 21st century post-modernism era, especially that is concerned with moral (spiritual) movement of women, and historical background of the rise of the feminism movement, either in the West or in the East (Moslems) region.
