Jing Yinyu (1901-1931?) and Xu Zhongnian (1904-1981) played a pivotal role in the dissemination of modern Chinese literature in France at the turn of the 1930s. Best known as Lu Xun's first translator into a Western language and a friend of Romain Rolland's, Jing compiled the Anthologie des conteurs chinois modernes in 1929. In his Anthologie de la littérature chinoise. Des origines à nos jours, published in 1932, Xu also devoted a section to recent literary developments. By analyzing the nature of the two projects, the translated corpora, and their paratexts, I will describe the features of Jing's and Xu's dissemination of May Fourth literature in France and scrutinize their artistic and ideological stance vis-à-vis the new literary scene. Ultimately, I will attempt to pinpoint in what terms the two scholars-cum-translators' agency contributed to foreign readers' awareness of the cultural, social and political experience of the May Fourth Movement.

Intelligence Studies deal with the question what Intelligence Services do, how they do it and why. They can be responsible for the civil and/or the military sector and be focused on internal (homeland) or external (foreign) affairs. A key activity is information gathering, but they may also be active in Political Warfare and related areas. This paper provides basic knowledge for anyone who is doing or interested in strategic and security studies. After an overview on the term intelligence and the topics of intelligence studies, the structure and rationale of intelligence communities and cooperation between intelligence services is presented, followed by a discussion of the legal and political dimension and the relationship to media. The following section presents covert activities in Political Warfare. Finally, the new field of cyber espionage and the impact on the structure and activities of intelligence services is briefly presented.

The article deals with the issues of world modeling in foreign mass media. It explores the discursive world of information and psychological warfare objectified by the textual means of English-language mass the study is to characterize the discourse world of information and psychological warfare as a representational structure on the basis of the corpus data. Research tasks comprise the identification of the key macroframes and of the specificity of for-mation of frames and ideological implications reflecting the media reality constructed in the world of discourse. The sample contains 101 texts from the "News on the Web" corpus published over the period from 2015 to 2020. Rice is the primary food needs of the people of Indonesia. Currently the characteristics of rice already are considered by consumers as the basis for consumer preference. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between rice attributes preferences and socio demographic in Palembang. The study was conducted in the vicinity of Palembang, from May to September 2019. A total of 329 respondents were surveyed to represent consumer preference. The data were analyzed using Spearman correlation. The results showed that the age of the respondent is positively related to the variety attribute. Educational background of respondents is negatively related to the attributes of varieties. The monthly income level of respondents is negatively related to the attributes of durability, varieties, rice heads. The other side, the monthly income level of respondents is positively related to the attributes of foreign objects, residues and services.

ABSTRACT Japan's unwillingness to acknowledge their military's involvement in the implementation of the comfort women system during the World War II has dealt a negative impact upon their foreign relations, especially with South Korea. This research aims to discover how Japan used the 2015 comfort women agreement as an instrument to achieve its security interests using namely two concepts; Japan's Security Interests in its Grand Strategy and Diplomacy in Statecraft. Within the process of this research it is discovered that Japan has a security interest in tackling the North Korea and Chinese threat in the Asia Pacific region. Japan used the 2015 Comfort women Agreement as an instrument to achieve its security interests by restoring its diplomatic relations with South Korea and tightening its alliance with the United States in order to face the two threats to their national security. The article examines the economic and legal aspects of the functioning of the institute of public-private partnership (hereinafter - PPP) in view of the implementation of priority national projects and justifies an increase in the use of various forms of interaction between government and business in the conditions of overcoming the consequences of the global financial crisis and economic sanctions. The article reveals the problems of the conceptual framework in the studied field of relations and analyzes the doctrinal views on the question of the concept and forms of the PPP. There has been generalized the positive experience of some foreign countries associated with the use of certain forms and mechanisms of PPPs in view of possible adoption in the Russian practice. The article draws the conclusions on the establishment of new PPPs and the development of existing PPPs to ensure their effective functioning in certain social spheres.

Based on the fluctuating trend of human trafficking cases which is considered as still high in number, the Government of Indonesia should take serious action in combating these issues in Indonesia to protect the human rights of Indonesian citizens. The human security issue and actions taken by the Government of Indonesia will be the fundamental objective of this research. The theoretical framework used to analyze the issue in this study is the theory of Human Security, Role Theory, and the concept of Human Trafficking. To analyze the data, this study will use qualitative methods. The results show that the government has succeeded in managing several steps that are useful to increase awareness in cooperation and coordination between state institutions. The government has also kept the cooperation well with several foreign states and external parties to eradicate human trafficking not only in Indonesia but also in the international sphere.

Discussions about state-sponsored communication with foreign publics are increasingly framed in the language of "information war" rather than "public diplomacy," particularly in Eastern Europe. For example, media projects supported by Western governments to engage Ukrainian audiences, and Ukrainian government efforts to engage international audiences via the media, are considered necessary responses in the information war with Russia. This article highlights several potentially problematic assumptions about communicative influence that are embedded in the language of information war. First is the assumption that communication can be targeted like a weapon to achieve a predictable impact. Second is the assumption that audiences engage with communication from an adversary because they are "vulnerable." Third is the assumption that "winning" in an information war means getting citizens to believe particular facts. Although these assumptions may hold to some degree, this article argues that adopting them uncritically can have detrimental consequences in policymaking.

This article is devoted to the research of the problems relating to defining of the subjects of foreign economic activities in Ukrainian law. Particularly, inthe article there is researched the issue of what organizational forms of legal persons may act as subjects of foreigneconomic activities. Since modern times, Chinese intellectual Liang Qichao and others have imitated the Western political system and vigorously advocated and implemented party politics in order to promote the historical process of political democratization and diplomacy in modern China. As China was in the current situation of internal and external troubles, various political parties have advocated national diplomacy, and have written national diplomacy policies into the party constitution or political program as a guideline for the fierce competition on the domestic and foreign affairs arena. Due to the frequent divisions and reorganizations between political parties, the political programs and political ideas of the political parties were confused with each other, and the responsibilities and obligations of party members were blurred, resulting in the increasingly complex internal and external competition of modern Chinese political parties, which reflected the modern Chinese political system Major changes.

The purpose of the research is to analayze efficiency level of Commercial Bank in Indonesia (Bank Mandiri, Bank BNI, Bank BRI, Bank BTN, Bank BCA, Bank Danamon, Bank CIMB and Bank PAN) 2014-2018 period with Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. Data used in this research is secondary data taken from Financial Statement Publication issued by Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) 2014-2018 period.Bank used in this reseach is eight bank which include in BUKU 4. Length of research period is five years from 2014 until 2018. This research uses input and output variable with Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. The result of research in 2014 all bank object efficient. In 2015 and 2016 inefficiency bank is BNI. In 2017 and 2018 inefficiency banks is Mandiri and BNI. Based on invention can be concluded that national foreign exchange private bank (BUSN) more efficiency than government bank in period research

This study presented a qualitative and quantitative project risk assessment using a hybrid PMBOK model developed under uncertainty conditions. Accordingly, an exploratory and applied research design was employed in this study. The research sample included 15 experienced staff working in main and related positions in Neyr Perse Company. After reviewing the literature and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), 32 risk factors were identified and their number reduced to 17 risks using the expert opinions via the fuzzy Delphi technique run through three stages. The results of the confirmatory factor analysis showed that all risks were confirmed by the members of the research sample. Then the identified risks were structured and ranked using fuzzy DEMATEL and fuzzy ANP techniques. The final results of the study showed that the political and economic sanctions had the highest weight followed by foreign investors' attraction and the lack of regional infrastructure.

This paper links Value Management to macro-economics to explore transformational innovation. It borrows from economics and the relationship between technological progress and rising living standards for citizens. Central to this is seeing 'technology' in a wider sense than devices. What makes this paper different is it attempts to link Government spending on capital projects directly to economic growth in an economy. Whilst macroeconomists use historic data, this paper applies those theories to the conceptual stages of capital-projects to become part of a Government's investment appraisal process. As such, this paper outlines a 'how to' approach that will help Governments prefer Foreign Investments that lead to long-term economic growth. The hope is that this paper will stimulate other researchers to replicate the methodology and in so doing open a new direction for innovation methodologies such as Value Engineering and Value Management that link capital projects to growth in GDP.

In addition to domestic issues such as reunification of Germany or the demise of the Eastern Bloc, the focus was on regions and international organizations that were of particular relevance to the discourse in Europe. Democratization processes, climate change, gender issues, migration, populism or the influence of new technologies were also included in the discussion. The history of the magazine's development is closely linked to contemporary events. Over time, the changes in the editorial circle as well as the political events and challenges are reflected in the journal's different conceptions and focuses.

Based on a report on Dr. Li Wenliang in the British mainstream BBC media under the epidemic of Covid-2019, this paper analyzes from three perspectives guided by Halliday's Systemic Functional Grammar: transitivity, mood and personal pronoun. It is found that the material process appears most frequently which shows that the news reports mainly reproduce the event process. The second is the verbal process, which shows that news reports are good at making use of multi-channel speech sources to enhance the authority and objectivity of reports. The third is the relational process and psychological process, which reflects the subtlety of news report content and the concealment of attitude. This paper reveals the ideological direction implied in the news reports through seemingly neutral and objective reports, aiming at providing reference for readers in the process of reading Chinese and foreign political discourse.
