This report assesses Namibia's external sector potential and determines its future developments. Following the introduction in Chapter 1, a brief sectoral analysis of the country's productive sector is presented in Chapter 2. Chapter 3 deals mainly with existing export patterns. Chapter 4 presents an analysis of prospects of increasing export earnings from traditional and non-traditional exports and on prospects of increasing earnings through greater processing and better marketing. Chapter 5 considers import structure and composition, while the sixth chapter concentrates on Namibia's possible external economic relations. (DÜI-Hff)
