From the mid‐1970s, Greenpeace began to expand its influence beyond its original base in North America. As it did so, it encountered an array of environmentalist and social movement cultures in the various countries in which it sought to set up branches. This article focusses on the establishment of the West German branch in the early 1980s. It analyses the friction Greenpeace — by then an increasingly professional organisation with a hierarchical structure — caused when it entered a West German environmentalist culture that was committed to grass roots democracy and consensus politics.

It has been very widely argued that processes of globalisation render traditional forms of social democratic politics impossible. The paper identifies and reviews three key claims in this debate — concerning trade, capital mobility and a new international division of labour. It is argued that, whilst much has changed, this has not always led in the direction anticipated by those who foresee an end to "traditional social democracy". In particular, the sorts of changes that have taken place do not add up to an endorsement of recent enthusiasm for a "third way".

Die Untersuchungshaft bezweckt die Sicherung des Strafverfahrens, steht aber im Spannungsverhältnis von Freiheitsrecht und Unschuldsvermutung. Obwohl sie daher ultima ratio sein muss, wird von ihr in Europa Gebrauch gemacht, mitunter exzessiv. Besonders Ausländer sind betroffen, oft ist die Anordnung auch präventive Maßnahme.Die Studie analysiert erstmals vollständig europäische Standards und Initiativen zur Untersuchungshaft auf Europaratsebene (v. a. die Rechtsprechung des EGMR) und auf der Ebene der Europäischen Union. Zudem werden Recht und Praxis der Untersuchungshaft in Deutschland und anderen europäischen Staaten geprüft, der Grad der Berücksichtigung europäischer Vorgaben aufgezeigt und Konsequenzen für die nationale Kriminalpolitik erörtert. Abschließend wird die Frage beantwortet, ob es gemeinsame europäische Überzeugungen zur Untersuchungshaft gibt und inwiefern dies praktisch die grenzüberschreitende Zusammenarbeit und die Rechte der Betroffenen beeinflusst

In a conversation between theatricality, body and politics, the point of departure and the point of return may be to speak from memory. In the development of this paper we present a research that draws on both the social sciences and the arts, whose subject of study is related to the work of contemporary theatricality around the political action of the producing bodies in the scene. This research is based on the study triad «art, body, politics» and from there, they have provoked inquiries about the role of art and particularly theater in the current Colombian context modified and transformed by processes of violence and conflict in the country. The studies of the body as a reason for artistic, social and political creation and action generate an emerging field for the analysis of different contemporary problems that make up multiple expressions, manifestations and interventions; and make it a daily theoretical-practical body reflection. Likewise, in the field of performing arts, studying the body could be in a thousand ways to resignify the role of corporality, to conceive artistic action and its social and political function. In the case of Colombia, it is in the middle of the last century that theater groups and artistic collectives, sought in some the recognition of the body, and in others, the transformation of scenarios into conflict that arose in the context of political violence from corporalities. Body: medium, instrument and work of various artistic uses; manifestation and representation of dynamics and multiple social and political realities. From the above, the research is related to the work of -the theatricality- from a contemporary and interdisciplinary perspective, whose look towards the body is referred to as a work, space and a vital tool of creation. In this order of ideas, the focus is to present some lights of what was the degree research in a theoretical-practical way, to expose the theoretical, methodological and reflexive approaches to make known the process carried out in the last three years and to recognize the importance about the place that the body occupies in contemporary Colombian theatricality, as a relevant practice to build narratives around the political in the country and in our Latin American context ; En una conversación entre teatralidad, cuerpo y política el punto de partida y el punto de regreso puede ser hablar de memoria. En el desarrollo de este escrito se presenta una investigación que se nutre tanto de las ciencias sociales como de las artes, cuyo sujeto de estudio tiene relación con el trabajo de la teatralidad contemporánea en torno a la acción política de los cuerpos productores en la escena. Esta investigación se fundamenta en la tríada de estudio «arte, cuerpo, política» y desde allí, han suscitado indagaciones sobre el papel del arte y particularmente del teatro en el contexto colombiano actual modificado y transformado por procesos de violencia y conflicto en el país. Los estudios del cuerpo como motivo de creación y acción artística, social y política generan un campo emergente para el análisis de distintos problemas contemporáneos que componen múltiples expresiones, manifestaciones e intervenciones; y hacen de ello una reflexión corporal teórico-práctica cotidiana. Asimismo, en el campo de las artes escénicas, estudiar el cuerpo podría ser de mil maneras resignificar el papel de la corporalidad, de concebir la acción artística y su función social y política. En el caso de Colombia, es a mediados del siglo pasado que grupos de teatro y colectivos artísticos, buscaron en algunos el reconocimiento del cuerpo, y en otros, la transformación de escenarios en conflicto que se presentaron en coyuntura de violencia política desde las corporalidades. Cuerpo: medio, instrumento y obra de diversos usos artísticos; manifestación y representación de dinámicas y múltiples realidades sociales y políticas. A partir de lo anterior, la investigación tiene relación con el trabajo de –la teatralidad- desde una perspectiva contemporánea e interdisciplinar, cuya mirada hacia el cuerpo se remite como obra, espacio y herramienta vital de creación. En este orden de ideas, el enfoque es presentar algunas luces de lo que fue la investigación de grado de manera teóricopráctica, exponer los acercamientos teóricos, metodológicos y reflexivos para dar a conocer el proceso llevado a cabo en los últimos tres años y reconocer la importancia sobre el lugar que ocupa el cuerpo en la teatralidad contemporánea colombiana, como práctica relevante para construir las narrativas en torno a lo político en el país y en nuestro contexto latinoamericano. ; Em uma conversa entre teatralidade, corpo e política, o ponto de partida e o ponto de retorno podem ser falar da memória. No desenvolvimento deste trabalho, apresentamos uma pesquisa que se baseia tanto nas ciências sociais como nas artes, cujo tema de estudo está relacionado ao trabalho da teatralidade contemporânea em torno da ação política dos corpos produtores na cena. Esta pesquisa é baseada na tríade de arte' estudo, a política do corpo "e, de lá, levantaram perguntas sobre o papel da arte e particularmente teatro no contexto colombiano atual modificada e transformada por processos de violência e conflito no país. Os estudos do corpo como razão de criação e ação artísticas, sociais e políticas geram um campo emergente para a análise de diferentes problemas contemporâneos que compõem múltiplas expressões, manifestações e intervenções; e torná-lo uma reflexão corporal teórico-prática diária. Da mesma forma, no campo das artes cênicas, estudar o corpo poderia ser de mil maneiras para ressignificar o papel da corporalidade, para conceber a ação artística e sua função social e política. No caso da Colômbia, é a meados do século passado, grupos de teatro e coletivos de arte, procurou algum reconhecimento do corpo, e em outros, a transformação de cenários de conflito que surgiu em circunstâncias de violência política de corporalidade. Corpo: médio, instrumento e obra de diversos usos artísticos; manifestação e representação da dinâmica e múltiplas realidades sociais e políticas. Do acima exposto, a investigação está relacionada com a teatralidade -a trabalho a partir de uma perspectiva contemporânea e interdisciplinar, cujo olhar para o corpo é referido como um espaço de trabalho e ferramenta de criação vital. Nesse sentido, o foco é apresentar alguns destaques do que era de grau de pesquisa maneira teórica e prática, expondo as abordagens teóricas, metodológicas e pensativo para divulgar o processo realizado nos últimos três anos e reconhecer a importância sobre o lugar que o corpo ocupa na teatralidade colombiana contemporânea, como uma prática relevante para construir narrativas em torno do político no país e em nosso contexto latino-americano
