International audience ; This article revolves around a map titled Resistenze locali al Decreto Salvini [Local resistance to the Sal-vini decree], which was created with OpenStreetMap by geographer Cristina Del Biaggio on the 5th of January 2019. The map aimed to dynamically visualise local protests arising against the new legislative decree on immigration and security approved by the Italian Senate in November 2018 (the so-called "Salvini decree"). Soon after its first appearance, the map had been circulated within national newspapers' and mag-azines' online articles, NGOs' webpages, blog posts, Facebook, and Twitter comments. Adopting an experimental format, this article is assembled in the form of a "carto-essay" which includes: original texts by the mapmaker (Del Biaggio C.), comments by curators (Rossetto T. and Boria E.), and a series of screenshots capturing moments in the map's life. Written on the spur of the moment and following the impulse to grasp in real time the rapid "movement" of a map and the spatial political statement it bears, this carto-essay alludes to questions such as the possibilities for a cartographic academic public engagement, the importance of feeling cartographic data in the public sphere, and the opportunity to provide progressive cartographic imageries of the nation.

International audience ; At the beginning of the French mandate in Syria and Lebanon, the Holy See develops new aims and means of action. We have studied them through the letters written to Rome by Mons. Frediano Giannini, vicar apostolic of Aleppo and apostolic delegate in Syria from 1905 to 1936. Giannini's reports provide a good example of the way missionaries produce knowledge about Eastern Christian communities. He tells about the trials and migrations endured by them, thus taking part in the development of a new perception of Christian communities as persecuted minorities. Giannini turns to French authorities in order to defend Christians' interests (both Catholics' and Orthodox'). His position is ambiguous: he feels nostalgic about the traditional French protectorate, and in the same time involves himself in political matters, taking on part of the French former role. This ambivalence reveals the rise of a new pontifical policy, based on increasing autonomy and centralization. ; Au début du mandat français en Syrie et au Liban, le Saint-Siège renouvelle ses objectifs et ses moyens d'action dans la région. Nous avons étudié ce mouvement à travers les lettres adressées à Rome par Mgr Frediano Giannini, vicaire apostolique d'Alep et délégué apostolique en Syrie de 1905 à 1936. Les rapports de Giannini constituent un bon exemple de la manière dont les missionnaires participent à la production de connaissances sur les communautés chrétiennes orientales. En rendant compte des épreuves et des migrations qui leur sont imposées, Giannini participe au développement d'une nouvelle perception de ces communautés, vues comme des minorités persécutées. Giannini sollicite les autorités françaises pour défendre les intérêts des chrétiens (à la fois les catholiques et les orthodoxes). Cette ambivalence révèle l'émergence d'une nouvelle politique pontificale, fondée sur un double mouvement d'autonomisation et de centralisation.

National audience ; Lors de cette table ronde l'implication des habitants dans la politique alimentaire territoriale est interrogée : comment caractériser les comportements et pratiques alimentaires ? Comment écouter et intégrer la voix des habitants. Trois interventions se succèderont : celle de Jennifer Buyck à propos du food transect, celle de Coline PERRIN, qui a des travaux qui sont similaires, en même temps, assez complémentaires et puis l'intervention d'Anne-Laure GARCIN, qui donne plutôt un point de vue très concret, opérationnel, de terrain.

Succédant à une année de croissance forte (2,4 % en2017), l'année 2018 a été marquée par un franc ralentissement de l'économie française (1,7 %). International audience ; Mount Lebanon has remarkable water resources among the middle-eastern countries, but the inhabitants of the upper Nahr Ibrahim valley, a major river in the Lebanese mountain, are facing an increasing hydric stress and an erosion risk that is enhanced by global change. This complex framework links a multi-millenary territorial history with moments of disruption or brakes related to natural variables (climate, ancient seismicity, mass movements,…) and/or anthropic variables (socio-economic changes) that shows a high resiliency of the inhabitants. The multidisciplinary and diachronic « Nahr Ibrahim Project » puts forward local management strategies of this multi-millenary landscape and built heritage to support the socioeconomic development of the upper valleys, as these mountainous regions remain on the margins of the national pubic investment plans. ; Le Mont Liban dispose de ressources en eau remarquables dans le contexte proche-oriental, mais les habitants de la haute vallée du Nahr Ibrahim, fleuve majeur de la montagne libanaise, font face à un stress hydrique croissant dans un milieu à risque (particulièrement l'érosion) dont les effets sont accentués par les changements globaux récents. C'est un cadre d'étude complexe alliant une construction des territoires très ancienne, qui s'inscrit dans une trajectoire des sociétés agricoles plurimillénaires, et des moments de rupture liés aux variables naturelles (climat, sismicité ancienne, mouvements de masse, …) et/ou anthropiques (mutations socio-économiques) qui démontrent une forte résilience des habitants. Le projet de recherche interdisciplinaire et diachronique « Nahr Ibrahim » permet de proposer des stratégies locales de gestion d'un patrimoine paysager et bâti plurimillénaire pour soutenir le développement socio-économique des hautes vallées qui demeurent en marge des plans d'investissement des politiques publiques nationales.

In the thousand-year history of the Byzantine Empire, barbarians have always played a central role in the affirmation of Byzantine ideology. In 864 the baptism of the ruler Boris I, saw a foreign monarch placed under the protection of the Byzantine Empire through Christianity. For the first time, enemies close to Byzantium were converted to the same religion as their close neighbour. The Bulgarians were for several centuries the archetype of the warmonger western barbarian. However, relations between the Bulgarians and the Byzantines were never limited to simple confrontations over the preservation of the Byzantine taxis. The aim of this study was thus to investigate the potential singularity of these Christian barbarians in Byzantine sources. Several political events such as the political conversion of Boris I, the imperial ambitions of Simeon or the Byzantine domination were the occasion to observe transformations, evolutions in the representation of these barbarians. The place of the Bulgarians in the Byzantine sources then allows us to understand how the authors perceived the role of the Empire in its relations with a peripheral space and its inhabitants. The descriptions of the space are then revealing of the ideological domination of the capital, Constantinople. The Bulgarian space then appears as a repulsive element in opposition to the urban ideal of the capital. The study also endeavoured to describe the presumed importance of Christianity in the valorization of the foreign peoples of Byzantium. The study sought to demonstrate that Christianity was not an insignificant factor in the way Byzantium thought about its relations with the Bulgarians. Finally, the Bulgarian leader, his figure and his place in the source was questioned and a wide variety of representations of the barbarian ruler was put forward. Although there are many topoi about the Bulgarians, the way in which this foreign people is presented in the sources can vary subtly according to a precise context. Barbarism as conceived by the Byzantines is therefore not a homogenous phenomenon, but an evolutionary process that must serve the political legitimization of the Byzantine Empire. ; Dans l'histoire millénaire de l'empire byzantin, les barbares ont toujours joué un rôle central dans l'affirmation de l'idéologie byzantine. En 864 le baptême du souverain Boris Ier, voit un monarque étranger se placer sous la protection de l'empire byzantin par l'intermédiaire du christianisme. Pour la première fois, des ennemis proches de Byzance sont convertis à la même religion que leur voisin proche. Les Bulgares ont été pendant plusieurs siècles l'archétype du barbare occidental belliqueux. Pourtant, les relations entre les Bulgares et les Byzantins ne se sont jamais limitées à de simples affrontements pour la préservation de la taxis byzantine. Cette étude avait ainsi pour but d'étudier la potentielle singularité de ces barbares chrétiens dans les sources byzantines. Plusieurs événements politiques comme la conversion politique de Boris Ier, les ambitions impériale de Siméon ou la domination byzantine ont été l'occasion d'observer des transformations, des évolutions dans la représentation de ces barbares dans les sources. La place des Bulgares dans les sources byzantines permet alors de comprendre comment les auteurs percevaient le rôle de l'Empire dans ses relations avec un espace périphérique et ses habitants. Les descriptions de l'espace sont révélatrices de la domination idéologique de la capitale, Constantinople. L'espace bulgare apparaît alors comme un élément repoussoir en opposition avec l'idéal urbain de la capitale. L'étude s'est aussi attachée à décrire l'importance présumée du christianisme dans la valorisation des peuples étrangers de Byzance. Le christianisme constituait un facteur à prendre en considération pour comprendre la manière selon laquelle Byzance envisage ses relations avec les Bulgares. Enfin acteur essentiel, le chef bulgare, sa figure et sa place dans la source ont été interrogées et c'est une grande diversité de représentations du souverain barbare qui ont été mises en avant. Si les topoi sont nombreux sur les Bulgares, la manière de présenter ce peuple étranger dans les sources peut connaître des variations subtiles en fonction d'un contexte précis. La barbarie telle qu'elle est conçue par les Byzantins n'est donc pas un phénomène homogène, mais un processus évolutif qui doit servir la légitimation politique de l'empire byzantin.

This study aims to examine the notion of otherness in Leonard Woolf's literary work. Our thesis means to trace Leonard Woolf's ethical trajectory from his first experiences as an 'unconscious imperialist' to those of a being highly aware of ethical issues. We believe that this evolution in the author's mentality is reflected in his literary, political and editorial work. Our analysis focuses on Leonard Woolf's novels, short stories and play as well as his autobiography. The first part of this thesis aims to highlight Leonard Woolf's openness to other cultures through the analysis of the Sinhalese myth. This first axis includes a study of The Village in the Jungle, The Wise Virgins and 'The Two Brahmans' in the light of mythology. In the second part of our study, we attempt to highlight the author's conception of otherness in the following works: 'A Tale Told by Moonlight', 'Pearls and Swine', 'Three Jews', The Wise Virgins and The Hotel. We believe that these works reveal a conception of otherness that departs from the one presented in his earlier works and that moves towards a union with the other. The third part of our work is devoted to the study of otherness in Leonard Woolf's autobiography. In this last section, we show how the author tries to integrate the other within his own ipseity. Ausgehend von einem Verständnis, das Repräsentationen als Prozesse begreift, in denen Bedeutungen ebenso wie Realitäten produziert werden und folglich als zentrale Schauplätze queer_feministischer Kämpfe gelten können, erkunde ich in diesem Beitrag, welche Geschichten über die Zukunft aktuellen feministischen Politiken den Weg weisen. Im Vordergrund meiner Auseinandersetzung mit Margaret Atwoods aktuell sehr populärem Roman "The Handmaid's Tale" und dessen TV-Adaption sowie mit Octavia Butlers Kurzgeschichte "Bloodchild" stehen folgende Fragen: Wessen Zukunft wird wie erzählt? Wer wird wie, mit welchen Mitteln und in welchem Kontext dargestellt? Und vor allem, wessen Zukunft ermöglichen diese Geschichten? In Anschluss an Donna Haraway argumentiere ich, dass das Erzählen von Geschichten und gerade auch das Neu-Erzählen zentraler Mythen, wirkmächtige Werkzeuge sind, um queer_feministische und dekoloniale Vorstellungen von Verhältnissen zwischen Selbst und Anderem zu entwickeln - und so zur Verwirklichung einer erstrebten Zukunft beitragen können.

Basierend auf der Tradition französischer Epistemologie thematisiert dieser Beitrag die Durchlässigkeit zwischen Alltags- und Wissenschaftswissen. Auf der Grundlage des Konzepts des 'epistemologischen Bruchs' werden humanmedizinische und sozialwissenschaftliche Veröffentlichungen betrachtet, in denen der Begriff der Feminisierung verwendet wird, wobei beleuchtet werden soll, inwiefern er ein 'Erkenntnishindernis' (Gaston Bachelard) darstellt. Anschließend an diese epistemologische Reflexion wird ein neues begriffliches Instrumentarium zur soziologischen Erforschung des Wandels der Geschlechterverhältnisse in der Berufssphäre skizziert, nämlich die Unterscheidung von drei Entmaskulinisierungstypen.

By developing the employability of its employees, the organization offers the opportunity of a career without frontiers without being able to ensure a return on investment.How can an organization that develops employability retain its employees?The public sector must now face a "hyperoptimisation" of its resources. In Corsica, this led to the creation of the Single Community of Corsica on 1 January 2018. The development of employability and the fidelity of employable agents are essential to move towards the pooling of resources and the transfer of skills. The Departmental Council of Haute-Corse was selected to carry out the empirical part of this study.The architecture of research is based on a mixed method, triangulation. She is justified by the complexity of the object of research and the multifocal approach chosen. The quantitative study consists of testing and verifying the hypotheses, the qualitative study downstream, aims to clarify and understand the phenomenon studied.In order to meet the challenge of "hybridization", the development of employability and the fidelity of employable agents seem essential to provide a quality public service. The results of the quantitative approach verified the positive action of the feeling of employability on the organizational fidelity of the agents, through the prism of the feeling of self-efficacy. The qualitative approach emphasizes the key role of the manager, the indirect nature of organizational fidelity and the interferences of the political sphere on the administrative sphere.The results of this work open up new research perspectives. In particular, it reveals the importance of coaching and promoting the agent in his development process. This study also highlights the indirect nature of organizational loyalty within the territorial civil service. Indeed, the relationship between the feeling of self-efficacy and organizational fidelity seems to be determined by a mediating effect of the feeling of belonging that gives meaning to the actions of the agent and links him to a community. ; Les évolutions environnementales ont remis en cause le modèle de carrière traditionnel. L'approche qualitative souligne le rôle clef du manager, le caractère indirect de la fidélité organisationnelle et les interférences de la sphère politique sur la sphère administrative.Les résultats de ce travail ouvrent de nouvelles perspectives de recherche. Il révèle notamment l'importance de l'accompagnement et de la valorisation de l'agent dans son processus du développement. Cette étude souligne également le caractère indirect de la fidélité organisationnelle au sein de la fonction publique territoriale. En effet, la relation entre le sentiment d'efficacité personnelle et la fidélité organisationnelle semble déterminée par un effet médiateur du sentiment d'appartenance qui donne du sens aux actions de l'agent et le rattache à une communauté.

This paper discusses the evolution of well-being at work in Japan, from a historical and political perspective, in comparison with France, in particular. Several indicators reveal a deterioration of work conditions, like in many OECD countries. Still, this decline of well-being at work in Japan has led todetrimental effects, from diminishing productivity and employees' satisfaction, up to absenteeism and, in acute cases, death at work (karōshi). By focusing on the Japanese case, the aim of the study is to fathom both the reasons for this decline and the different ways in which public authorities, as well as firms, have addressed this issue. The 1990s was a difficult period for workers who saw an increasing number of non-regular employees, which caused a decline of the average wage. Women, younger and elder workers have been particularly affected by the economic slowdown. In response to this degraded environment, successive governments have taken initiatives and built major laws to help workers to improve their work-life balance and to reduce the risk of death by overwork. Moreover, firms themselves have taken initiatives to improve workers' well-being using working hours flexibility, developing childcare facilities and providing various fringe benefits. The enacting of the so-called "Work Style Reform" (hatarakikata kaikaku) in June 2018 may be seen as the most recent effort to tackle the situation.
