Daniel Dor teaches in the Department of Communication at Tel Aviv University. His research interests include the linguistic consequences of globalization, the role of the media in the construction of political hegemony, and the cultural-biological evolution of language. He is the author of Intifada Hits the Headlines: How the Israeli Press Misreported the Outbreak of the Second Palestinian Uprising (2003).
