The Development Problems Analysis of Islamic Banking in Indonesia: Application Analytic Network Process MethodThis study would try to address the problems that faced by Islamic banking institutions in Indonesia. The results showed that the problems that arise in the development of Islamic banks in Indonesia consists of four important aspects, namely: human, technical, legal/structural aspect, and market/communal aspect. Decomposition of problem as a whole gains the priorities: 1) There is not enough of Islamic banks capital yet; 2) Lack of understanding of Islamic bank practitioners; 3) Lack of government support; 4) the trust and public interest to Islamic banks tend to be low.While the priority of policy strategies that are considered able to resolve the problems of Islamic banking industry in Indonesia consists of: 1) strengthen the capital and business scale and improve the efficiency level; 2) improve the quantity and quality of human resources, and also information systems and technologies; Furthermore, 3) improve the structure of Islamic bank funds and harmonization of regulation and supervision. <p class="Default"> </p><p>African Americans have the highest rate of obesity in the United States relative to other ethnic minority groups. Bioecologi­cal factors including neighborhood social and physical environmental variables may be important predictors of weight-related measures specifically body mass index (BMI) in African American adults. Baseline data from the Positive Action for Today's Health (PATH) trial were collected from 417 African American adults. Overall a multiple regression model for BMI was significant, showing positive associations with average daily moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) (B =-.21, <em>P</em>&lt;.01) and neighbor­hood social interaction (B =-.13, <em>P</em>&lt;.01). Consistent with previous literature, results show that neighborhood social interac­tion was associated with healthier BMI, highlighting it as a potential critical factor for future interventions in underserved, African American communities. <em>Ethn Dis. </em>2015; 25(4):405-412; doi:10.18865/ed.25.4.405</p>

<p>Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) domain has seen rapid developments in recent years. As the number of UAVs increases and as the missions involving UAVs vary, new research issues surface. An overview of the existing research areas in the UAV domain has been presented including the nature of the work categorised under different groups. These research areas are divided into two main streams: Technological and operational research areas. The research areas in technology are divided into onboard and ground technologies. The research areas in operations are divided into organization level, brigade level, user level, standards and certifications, regulations and legal, moral, and ethical issues. <p>A enhanced fusion algorithm for generating a super resolution image from a sequence of low-resolution images captured from identical scene apparently a video, based on framelet have been designed and analyzed. In this paper an improved analytical method of image registration is used which integrates nearest neighbor method and gradient method. Comparing to Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) the Framelet Transform (FrT) have tight frame filter bank that offers symmetry and permits shift in invariance. Therefore using framelet this paper also present a framelet based enhanced fusion for choosing the fused framelet co-efficient that provides detailed edges and good spatial information with adequate de-noising. Abstract'The Conflictual Model of Analysis in Studies on the Media Representation of Islam and Muslims: A Critical Review' was published in Sociology Compass 9/5 (2015) pp. 321–335, DOI: 10.1111/soc4.12264. This Teaching and Learning Guide is designed to accompany this article. In brief, the article examined the extent to which various studies on the media representation of Islam and Muslims use the conflictual model analysis that underpins theoretical frameworks, such as Orientalism, Clash of Civilisations, Cultural Racism and Islamophobia. It argued that in the context of a complex multicultural society, conflictual model of analysis is inadequate because it simply employs a binary way of thinking as clearly indicated in 'the West versus Islam' paradigm. In response to the inadequacy of this model of analysis, the article proposed an adoption of an alternative dialogical model of analysis in the light of the political theory of recognition. This guide provides useful information regarding the use of this article for teaching and learning purposes. It includes recommendation of readings, online resources, sample syllabus, focus questions and project idea.

Depuis près de trente ans, la politique d'ouverture de Doi Moi lancée par la République socialiste du Viêt Nam (RSVN) s'est accompagnée d'un maintien de l'emprise de l'État-parti sur la société. Le Premier ministre Nguyên Tân Dung, qui achèvera son deuxième mandat consécutif (2006- 2016) à l'approche du XII e congrès du Parti communiste vietnamien (PCV) prévu en janvier 2016, est l'objet de critiques tous azimuts. Mais le PCV et l'Armée populaire vietnamienne (APVN) restent les deux acteurs centraux de l'histoire politique du Viêt Nam contemporain. Par leurs actions et le contrôle qu'ils exercent, ils sont à la croisée des tensions entre autoritarisme politique et ouverture économique, lesquelles traversent l'État-parti et la société vietnamienne depuis la chute de l'URSS et la réinsertion du pays sur la scène internationale. Le pays a vu parallèlement les pratiques de corruption se généraliser dans la société, une tendance que ni le PCV ni l'APVN ne parviennent à juguler en dépit de régulières et ostensibles campagnes gouvernementales, et des plaintes d'une société civile en plein essor.

Evidencia la caducidad de la administración política territorial del Estado, de 263 municipios, 14 departamentos, de un país pequeño. The rules of sale contract in many countries allow parties to conclude a contract without specifying the price at the time of formation. Such contracts are called open price sale (sale of goods) contracts and are of the needs of modern trade methods. As a result, parties enjoy the freedom to conclude their contract without contractual risks. The problem, however, is that under the Iranian rules on sale contracts, these possibilities do not exist. Such treatment by Iranian legislators on the issue of price in a sale contract has caused problems in national and transactional level. Adopting a doctrinal research method, the first aim of this study is to perform a review on the concept of open price term and the current Iranian law on this concept. The next objective is to explain the justifications for acceptance of open price term with regard to global evolutions, legal theories and Islamic theories and principles. The quality of democracy is a new concept that tries to explain the reason why democracies have different levels of performance. In 1959, by calculating average of some variables of welfare, Lipset showed that democracies have a better economic performance than another type of regime. By applying simple linear regressions and instrumental-variables regressions, it was found that the Rule of Law, accountability through voting and accountability through the institutions cause economic and social performance in Europe. Electoral participation and membership do not have a direct effect on the results that government offers, but make these procedural elements more effective. In the same way, more years of democracy do not guarantee a better performance but also have an indirect effect in the Rule of Law, accountability through voting and accountability through the institutions in Europe. In this research, we have compared the constitutional and Iran's Islamic revolution based on John Foran's model. In Foran's opinion, dependency development is emerged as a result of outside pressure on third world countries. The new situation paves the way for the emergence of oppressive government and this government also paves the way for the opposed side. As a result of this, a revolutionary situation arises. Based on documents and open mindeds' opinions, the role of government and development in forming both revolutions has been outstanding. Based on Foran's statements, the world system situation has been effective in the formation of constitutional and Islamic revolutions. DOI:10.5278/ijsepm.2015.5.3 ; The Ministry of Petroleum and Energy (MoPE) manages the licencing system for Norwegian wind power. Balancing relevant concerns in this process could be considered as Environmental Policy Integration (EPI) in practical wind power policy. Wind power investments have been limited in Norway, investors have left the market and those remaining are jittery towards making investments. This article argues that the licencing system is partially responsible for this situation; the system has, over time, introduced an extra risk element for investors, challenged their patience and hampered investments. Especially MoPE's handling of appeals has been time consuming and difficult to predict regarding final outcome. The problem is probably lack of common understanding between MoPE and Ministry of Climate and Environment (MoCE) on how EPI works in practical wind power policy. To speed up investments the pace in the licencing process must be increased and the criteria for balancing relevant interest must be clarified.

Siberian Jews have long been a well-established subject of research in Jewish Studies. Scientific publications of the 19th – early 21st century mainly focus on the problems pertaining to social adaptation of Jews in Siberia in the 19th – early 20th century. At the same time, much fewer works describe features distinguishing the economic development of the Jewish community and its place and role in the growth of specific economic sectors in Siberian regions. The article deals with the starting period that saw the formation of the Jewish community in Western Siberia. This period has not been closely looked at in historiography. The analysis here is based on archival data and elaborates on governmental policies by Alexander I and Nicholas II towards Jews living in Siberia as well as the consequences of these policies by the mid 19th century. The paper is using materials from various archives and published sources to formulate key features of the economic activities undertaken by the Jewish community in Western Siberia in the 19th century. The years 2015 and 2016, in the Italian Government's agenda, should be remembered as the phase of the great constitutional reform: after several failed attempts – Joint Committees, reforms rejected by popular vote – Italian State institutions would be subjected to undergo a makeover in modernizing and efficiency way. So far, the only political-administrative institutions to be reformed effectively, during the 90's of the last century, were the local ones, primarily the municipalities. The reforms of the 90's are characterized by several trends: the centrality of the role of the Mayor; enhanced customization; greater accountability. The levels of political mediation were scaled down in favour of "direttismo". The demo-elected Mayor is now primarily aimed at consolidation of the consensus. The paper, based on the evidence so far available, tries to test the hypothesis that the achievement of consensus on the part of the mayors can connect to the kind of leadership that they exercise and the socio-professional profile. The article is devoted to the problems and prospects of youth' business development in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The article describes the results of a sociological research. The course on an innovative development of economy, the social, economic and political situation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the context of an economic crisis of the past few years, as well as a number of other factors increase need for formation of new generation of the businessmen – young, dynamic, modern people that are capable of playing an active role in business, economy and in development of a society. Young businesspersons are defined by high mobility, activity, 'initiativeness', high speed of adaptability and innovation. The key problems disturbing the formation of business processes among young businessmen of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are defined in the course of research. The social portrait of the businessman is 'drawn', practical recommendations on support of youth business and main antecedents for entrepreneurship in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are developed.
