Die Universität Hamburg (IIFS), die City University of Applied Sciences, Bremen und das Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Tributario, Sao Paulo, haben einen Vergleich des brasilianischen mit dem deutschen Steuerrecht erarbeitet. Rund 80 Fachleute aus Wissenschaft, Steuerberatung und Gerichtsbarkeit haben Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede im Unternehmenssteuerrecht der beiden Staaten herausgearbeitet. Brasilien ist ein wichtiger Handelspartner der deutschen Industrie, da aber kein Doppelbesteuerungsabkommen besteht, ist die Gefahr von Doppelbesteuerungen besonders hoch. Der Vergleich der beiden Steuersysteme kann Alternativen für steuerliche Regelungen aufzuzeigen und gleichzeitig der Steuerberatung und der exportierenden Industrie einen Leitfaden für die Behandlung grenzüberschreitender Steuerprobleme an die Hand geben.

Der Band dokumentiert die Referate der 12. Tagung Junge Arbeitsrechtswissenschaft (vormals Assistentinnen- und Assistententagung im Arbeitsrecht), die vom 20. bis 22. On 26th January 1950 India became a republic, shedding its last links with its colonial past and inaugurating a new era of liberty and freedom. With fundamental rights and civil liberties guaranteed by the state, the new constitution was universally acclaimed as the world s greatest experiment in liberal government .
