The press has often been thought of as a potential partner for the common good of the Government, private industry, the military, and the other institutions of society. The author of this work feels, however, that the proper role of the press is that of a separate but equal protagonist—critical of both the institutions of our society and the youth culture that has developed beneath it.

About the author: Chang-Dae David Hyun received his H.B.A with a concentration in political science from the University of Toronto in 2017. He was a Winner of Kathleen & William Davis Scholarship and Saul & Lois Rae Scholarship at the University College. He received a full scholarship from the Tsinghua University of China during the summer of 2017. He was a former sergeant from the Republic of Korea Air Force (2007-2010).

What is excellent teaching? The essay reflects on this question based on the author's and other former students' experiences with professor Håkan Rydving's teaching and supervision. According to Rydving, supervision is the core practice of academics. It should consist of reading and commenting, and aim at inspiring, liberating, and supporting. The author uses Rydving's practice and ideas to think critically about current political programs for excellent teaching.

In this chapter the author discusses how censorship affects discourses of contemporary art in the Republic of Macedonia. The cultural, political and social contexts in Macedonia are outlined and differing standpoints on what constitutes contemporary art practice in that country are discussed. Two case studies are highlighted to allow the reader to gain an understaning of how censorship is deployed as a tactic in erasing, or in rendering illegitamte, critical contemporary art.

This paper deals with a legal analysis of the correlation between international rules and civil legislation of Russia. The author considers the peculiarity of the enforcement of the rules of international law and the international treaty in the Russian Federation, as well as the possibility of recognizing the supremacy of the Basic Law - the Constitution over the international legal rules, implemented in the national legislation of the Russian Federation

This paper addresses the continued association of Richard Hofstadter with consensus history. More specifically, it challenges the view that the origins of this conservative trend in American history can be located within The American Political Tradition. Whilst primarily concerned with reinterpreting Hofstadter's work within its original context, the paper raises questions regarding author intention and both the reception and shifting perceptions of works of history.

Zemecha 's philosophy of education is that politics and education should not be separated. Education must be for the common good; manual work and intellectual education should always go hand in hand. Prof. Dr. Yanitsa Dimitrova, which synthesizes theoretical knowledge on the relationship between strategy, structure, corporate culture and innovation culture, has recently been published. In the introduction, the author analyses the dynamic environment in which organisations operate, the need for them to be adaptable to the ever-changing needs and behaviour of stakeholders.

The article presents an analysis of one of the main companies in pre-war Poland. The author describes how the activities of postal, telegraph and telephone services were organized and the importance of state telecommunications company for organizing social and economic life, particularly through monolithic approach to distribution of information in Poland. This is followed by description of commercialization of the company and its further development, particularly during the Great Depression.

ABSTRACTThis article explains how the author discovered his interest in accounting history, and how he used his research and readings in history to enliven his more than 50 years of teaching introductory financial accounting to undergraduates. He then presents nine illustrations of how he has brought historical background and a critical mien into his lectures and discussion sessions with students, in the hope that colleagues elsewhere might consider doing likewise.

Using the integrationist press reaction towards the pogroms of the early 1880s as
a background, the author tries to show the impact of the pogrom in Białystok in 1906 on the
integrationist milieu. The article analyzes both the Polish-Jewish literature and press articles
as well as the way they depicted the Białystok pogrom. The Polish-Jewish reaction has been
juxtaposed with opinions published in the Polish press.
