Abstract
Zgodnie z ideami zrównoważonego rozwoju zawartymi w rezolucji ONZ "Przekształcamy świat: Agenda 2030 na rzecz zrównoważonego rozwoju" do kluczowych celów, jakich osiągnięcie założono do 2030 r., należą między innymi: zapewnienie powszechnego dostępu do bezpiecznych dla wszystkich i inkluzywnych terenów zieleni oraz przestrzeni publicznych, a jednocześnie wzmocnienie wysiłków na rzecz ochrony dziedzictwa kulturowego i przyrodniczego. W artykule przedstawiono, na wybranych przykładach zabytkowych parków, ogrodów oraz krajobrazów, jak cele te są realizowane. Przedmiotem badań były w szczególności: Ogród Wersalski, Stonehenge i krajobraz kulturowy otaczający ten zabytek, zarządzany przez English Heritage, a także polityka udostępniania zabytkowych, parków, ogrodów i krajobrazów, realizowana przez Historic England.
Analiza strategii udostępniania zabytkowych terenów zieleni i krajobrazów kulturowych osobom ze szczególnymi potrzebami, wypracowanych przez wymienione powyżej instytucje, pozwoliła na sformułowanie w podsumowaniu artykułu propozycji ogólnych założeń inkluzywnej polityki względem tej grupy zabytków.

Eliminating poverty by 2030 is the main target of Sustainable Development Goal 1(SDG1). India had an ambitious target of cutting down its poverty rate to 10.95% from 21.92%, by 2030. This review has the objective to consolidate the literature related to SDG1 in India, since 2015 and to identify futuristic research niches. This research focuses on the research questions of identifying the public policy initiatives in India for achieving SDG1 and the performance of various indicators of SDG1 in India. Forty‐one peer‐reviewed articles related to SDG1 in India are selected from the sources of Web of Science and consolidated the findings of these works of literature by using the indicators of NITI Aayog as the themes; described the empirical papers by highlighting the key variables and findings. This research had identified the health insurance penetration; slum rehabilitation and rejuvenation of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) are the futuristic areas for research. This paper contributes to the existing body of knowledge and recommends the key areas to be focused on achieving SDG1 in India. This review can help readers in understanding better methods of poverty eradication. High spirits are recommended from the implementing authorities to meet the objectives of indicators of poverty, better housing, health insurance penetration to households, and for the generation of employment and consumption by the scheme of MGNREGA. Moreover, a realistic picture of poverty eradication in India may be possible by using more indicators covering all the targets of SDG1.

The New Urban Agenda (NUA) sets a new vision of sustainable urban development to help cities deal with the challenges of changing demography. While numerous articles have addressed how the NUA can be implemented at different levels and in different areas, this article points out the potential limitations in incorporating the NUA into metropolitan transport policies. The relevance of the limitations can be seen in three main fields: incompatibility between legal and financial frameworks and the functional and spatial structures of metropolitan areas, the characteristics of how transport systems are developed as part of metropolitan functional and spatial structures and the inconsistency and inadequacy between political declarations (NUA) which are based on ideas and programmes and the objectives of strategy papers which are based on diagnoses, data analyses and predictive models. The authors put forward the thesis that by concentrating on cities, the NUA leaves out some of the characteristics of metropolitan areas. As a consequence, although the NUA can work successfully for metropolitan cores, outer areas are not covered directly. In order to verify the thesis, a comparison was made between the NUA&rsquo ; s transport system approach with experience from running and planning metropolitan transport systems described in the literature. The results of the comparative analysis, confirmed the thesis of the authors and made it possible to formulate general conclusions regarding the specific conditions of metropolitan areas for the running and developing of the transport system. By using explanatory case study of Tri-City Metropolitan Area (TMA) and the Strategy for Transport and Mobility for TMA 2030 general assumptions were confirmed and explain in more details. The NUA and STM were compared for how they address the main areas of intervention related to transport. Differences were identified and recommendations were formulated, should the documents be updated. The STM must be updated in areas such as equity and climate change mitigations while the NUA should be expanded to cover the specific conditions that prevail in functional and metropolitan areas.

This manuscript is the result of an AZTI's Summer School, celebrated in San Sebastian (Spain), from 5th to 7th June, 2019.-- 19 pages, 3 figures, 2 tables, 1 box ; The integrated study of ocean health and human health is an emerging area of increasing global importance. Growing evidences demonstrate that the health of the ocean and the health of humans have always been and will continue to be, inextricably linked. Our actions toward the oceans will significantly influence the future of the whole planet and, in turn, our own health. The current review of these issues arose from a summer school in San Sebastian (Spain), from 5th to 7th June, 2019. An interdisciplinary group of researchers discussed key risks (e.g., microbial pollution, pharmaceuticals, harmful algal blooms, plastic pollution) and benefits (e.g., bathing waters, recreation, tourism) of the seas and global ocean for humanity; and debated the future priorities and potential actions for a joint Oceans and Human Health research and governance programme in Europe. The aim of this review is to contribute to the emerging scientific agenda on ocean health and human health, as well as coordinate efforts with stakeholders, policy makers and the general public. This agenda operates within the larger context of the upcoming United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development: 2021–2030, which strives to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), including healthy (human) lives and well-being (SDG3) and conserving and sustainably using the oceans (SDG14), among others. It emphasizes that empowering African women is a pivotal pillar for attaining sustainable development. Contributors discuss the need for implementing structural changes as a prerequisite for social progress and development to occur in Southern Africa. They interrogate the extent to which religious beliefs and practices either promote or impede womens SRHR. The contributors also proffer several ways in which addressing the themes of health for all and equality for all women and girls can make a meaningful contribution towards the fulfillment of the goals set for Agenda 2030. .

Kommunale Entwicklungspolitik (KEpol) gewinnt in Deutschland an Bedeutung: Städte, Gemeinden und Landkreise engagieren sich zunehmend und leisten durch KEpol einen zentralen Beitrag zur transnationalen Nachhaltigkeitspolitik. Die vorliegende von der Servicestelle Kommunen in der Einen Welt (SKEW) finanzierte Studie leistet eine Bestandsaufnahme der deutschen KEpol und ihrer thematischen Ausrichtung. Sie untersucht (a) Motivationen des entwicklungspolitischen Engagements von kommunalen Verwaltungen, (b) Merkmale, die Engagement fördern oder hemmen und (c) Wahrnehmungen über die Förderung von KEpol. Auf Grundlage einer bereits 2009 vom DIE durchgeführten Studie beschreibt sie zudem die Entwicklungstrends in diesem Politikfeld. Die Analyse von Sekundärliteratur, eine deutschlandweite Befragung von Kommunen und vertiefende Interviews zeigen ein zunehmendes Engagement vor dem Hintergrund verbesserter politischer Rahmenbedingungen und veränderter globaler Leitbilder, insbesondere der Agenda 2030. Die In- und Auslandsaktivitäten reichen von Informations- und Bildungsarbeit bis hin zu vielfältigen Partnerschaften mit Kommunen im Globalen Süden. Kommunen agieren als Umsetzende, Multiplikator*innen und Vernetzende. Dabei gehört KEpol zu den freiwilligen kommunalen Tätigkeiten und wird daher nicht überall praktiziert. Die notwendigen Kapazitäten für KEpol sind ohne externe Förderung oftmals unzureichend.

Se trata de una obra muy madura en la que se pretende analizar de manera rigurosa, y dentro del sistema jurídico, huyendo de consideraciones de "Lege ferenda", los desafíos jurídicos para proteger la vida que se plantean desde el actual contexto de crisis e incertidumbre. La investigación analiza de manera comparada los nuevos principios que inspiran la garantía para la supervivencia: los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de la Agenda 2030 de la ONU, la necesidad de una regulación óptima de la donación de órganos, la esencial protección de los derechos del paciente, la eutanasia y el suicidio asistido y otras formas de tutelar el bien jurídico vida

En el presente trabajo se propone una síntesis de las necesidades humanas condensadas en los pactos internacionales de derechos humanos (Derechos Civiles y Políticos y Derechos Económicos, Sociales y Culturales) al igual que en los mecanismos emergentes que reconocen los actuales retos en derechos humanos y condiciones de vida de las poblaciones como la Agenda 2030 – Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible. Relacionándola con la teoría de las necesidades expuestas por Maslow de aquellas compuestas por las de carácter radical de mantenimiento y de autorrealización. Se hace lo propio con los instrumentos internacionales de derechos humanos y una relación con lo propuesto en la doctrina jurídica.

Abstract
The mobility of people is an important theme of geographical research because immigrant currents profoundly transform regional models, mainly urban areas, configuring themselves as a factor of social destabilization, as they change the composition of the population, triggering processes of mutual cultural contamination that are projected on the territory, differentiating it from its geographical surroundings. The contribution, starting from a look at international migration, intends to analyze different aspects related to the phenomenon of mobility such as globalization, sustainability and the role of International Cooperation in the light of the objectives of Agenda 2030 for sustainable development, challenges that concern not only the present, but especially the future.

(Un)sustainable developments are a significant challenge for state and nonstate actors from global to local level. Within the framework of the United Nations Transformation Agenda 2030 and the global Sustainable Development Goals, state institutions have a particular responsibility in guiding the process. In order to secure acceptance, this article claims that sustainability governance should aim to bring about well-being-oriented transformations. In this regard, besides cognitive insight into the need for change, the multisensorial dimensions of human existence in general as well as in everyday social practices in particular should be more systematically taken into account. Foundational conceptual and methodological considerations on sensory-informed policymaking for sustainable development are discussed.

Sustainable development has become the mantra, or the global utopia, for multiscalar development worldwide, being promoted by governments and international organisations through the support to social and environmental policies. However, the concept of sustainability, as well as the Agenda 2030 and SDGs, remain controversial due to socio-political and environmental contradictions. This article analyses the promotion of Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) and related initiatives oriented towards sustainable coastal governance in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. It emerges that these policies, rather than promoting sustainable coastal governance and preserving local communities practices and knowledge, support a controversial green growth vision and the unsustainable neoliberalisation of socio-environmental practices.

Este trabajo es una reflexión sobre los grandes desafíos de la UE en Derechos humanos. Se parte del papel histórico de Europa en los derechos humanos. Proponemos algunas medidas que se podrían adoptar para recuperar esa función. Asimismo, se identifican los principales problemas y las posibles soluciones. Por ejemplo, mantener la utopía de la modernidad, fortalecer la Unión social, ir contra el populismo y el nacionalismo, apoyar la sostenibilidad y la agenda 2030, entre otros. ; This work is a reflection of the great challenges of the European Unión in the field of human rights. We start from the historical role of Europe in human rights. We propose some measures to recover that role. In the same way we identify the main problems and possible solutions.
