Year 1989 marked a breakthrough in the presence and development of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Poland. The freedom of association was restored, and the society immediately took advantage of this freedom. Since the early 1990s, decentralization has been coupled with a revived activity of the civic sector, and a clear increase in the number of 'grass-root' initiatives, stimulated by the society itself. The number of NGOs has kept growing, including the associations, foundations, and church organizations. The scope of their activity, the number of employees and the tasks they undertake have been expanding. In order to understand the essence of social economy, and primarily to notice the opportunity to develop the state on the basis of the principles of social economy, it was necessary to change the definition of the essence of the state and society, their role, and to correlate their mutual objectives and needs. The administrative reform executed in Poland in 1999, resulted in moving the burden of public tasks from the central government to the units of territorial self-government. The administrative reform introduced three layers of territorial division in order to promote self-governance, facilitate the operation of local authorities, and bring them closer to citizens. Over the last twenty years, NGOs have become a valuable partner in territorial self-government by performing various kinds of public tasks and thus becoming an exceptionally significant element of social policy. The principles regulating the co-existence of the third sector and the state are laid down in the act of law of April 24, 2003 on public benefit and volunteer work, which provides a comprehensive regulation of the activity of NGOs in the realm of public life, the principles (subsidiarity, sovereignty of parties, partnership, efficiency, fair competition, and transparency), and the form of cooperation between such organizations and the organs of public administration with respect to the performance of public tasks. It should be emphasized, however, that while NGOs have taken over services rendered in some areas, their potential has not been fully utilized. The functioning of social organizations manifests civic freedom and society's self-organization. The activities of the third sector organizations allow the fulfillment of important social needs, such as the need for spontaneous association, social initiative and organizational autonomy. The functioning of social organizations has an advantageous influence on the activity of public and private organizations. The NGOs in Poland and abroad play an increasingly significant role, both in the development of civic society of democratic states, and also in the process of performing public tasks and the development of economies. At present, forms of cooperation between NGOs and the territorial self-government are being sought. This may indicate that both local authorities and the third sector organizations have reached a point where they are ready to form a real partnership. This is an optimistic statement, especially given the opportunity to develop the sector of social economy using the financial means of the EU structural funds. Along with the ageing of affluent societies, social exclusion, poverty and unemployment are the fundamental social problems for Poland and the whole of modern Europe. The subjects of the third sector of an economy can play a key role in solving these problems.

La primera sección del trabajo estará dedicada a una pequeña aproximación a la atmósfera desde algunos trabajos que han sido desarrollados desde los Estudios Sociales de la Ciencia en relación con ella. Trataré en segundo lugar temas relacionados con la experticia y cómo los Estudios Sociales de la Ciencia y la Tecnología han tratado de abordar la formación de expertos a través de la materialidad y su relación con actores no-humanos en casos muy específicos y situados, especialmente en el tratamiento de controversias públicas-científicas. Este estudio de caso me obliga a dar un giro al respecto y a tratar de describir cómo la experticia es producida, reproducida y ejercida dentro del salón de clase, sin que necesariamente se presente una controversia. La tercera parte entonces tratará algunos trabajos en los que se estudia el proceso de enseñanza de ciencias y en los que la materialidad de diferentes objetos mediará en el sentido en el que las diferentes interacciones tienen lugar. Luego de enunciar algunas consideraciones teóricas y metodológicas alrededor de la Teoría del Actor Red, la Etnometodología y el Análisis de Conversación, en el capítulo empírico comenzaré a describir la relación entre las materialidades de las interacciones entre actores humanos y no-humanos, la atmósfera como objeto científico y la enseñanza como proceso de formación de expertos en los cursos de Meteorología Dinámica y Climatología y en el de Meteorología General. Allí encontramos verdaderos momentos de producción de conocimientos que se dan entre los actores para representar diferentes fenómenos en relación con la atmósfera. Las matemáticas resultaron tener un papel fundamental en este proceso, tanto como actor en la coproducción de entidades, como en su representación. ; Abstract : The first section will be dedicated to an approach to the atmosphere from some works developed by the Social Studies of Science in relation to it. I will deal in the second place with topicsrelated to the expertise and how the Social Studies of Science and Technology have tried to approach the formation of experts through the materiality and itsrelation with non-human actors in very specific and situated cases, especially in the treatment of public-scientific disputes. The case study forces me to take a turn in this regard and try to describe how the expertise is produced, reproduced and exercised within the classroom, without necessarily raising a controversy. The third part will then deal with some works in which the process of teaching science is studied and in which the materiality of different objects will mediate in the sense in which the different interactions take place.After enunciating some theoretical and methodological considerations around the Actor Network Theory, Ethnomethodology and Conversation Analysis, in the empirical chapter I will begin to describe the relationship of materialities of the interactions and human and non-human actors, the atmosphere as scientific object and teaching as a process of training experts in the courses of Dynamic Meteorology and Climatology and General Meteorology. There we find real moments of knowledge production that occur between the actors to represent different phenomena in relation to the atmosphere. The development of the startup industry contributed to the rapid spread of technologies and the strengthening of the economy of the leading innovative countries. However, the share of unsuccessful projects still remains significant. And in many cases, the reason for this is the lack of strong marketing maintenance, strategic planning and management. It was found that during the startup development process, marketing is not adequately taken into account. In addition, researchers often focus on certain areas of marketing activity, without taking into account the need for the marketing strategic managing and implementation of holistic marketing maintenance. Therefore, the relevance of the study is substantiated by the need to revise and improve the theoretical and practical basis of startup marketingmaintenance. The aim of the study is to develop scientific and practical recommendations for improving the startup marketing maintenance through the strategic planning and managing during their development, as well as taking into account the specific features of marketing functions and tasks at different stages of their life cycle. As a result of the research, the unique definition of the «startup» term was proposed. The place of startups in the Ukrainian legislation was also identified. The composition of startup marketing strategies has been developed. Strategies were divided according to the following criteria: cooperation (independent and co-optation), the team purpose (holder or developer strategy), scaling purpose (classical, interconnected scalability, dependent scalability, minimalism), the degree of the economic freedom of market subjects (self-sufficient or not self-sufficient), product (holistic, inclusive, service). The proposed marketing strategies are relevant both for industrial and consumer markets and can be implemented, in particular, during the startup development in the fields of computer programming, equipment manufacturing, machine building, telecommunications, ecology (production of environmentally friendly electricity, alternative fuels), publishing and printing, 3D printing, in the aviation industry, etc. ; Розвиток стартап індустрії сприяв стрімкому поширенню технологій та зміцненню економіки країн-лідерів в інноваційній сфері. Однак, частка неуспішних проектів все ще залишається значною. І в багатьох випадках причиною цьому є відсутність якісного маркетингового забезпечення, стратегічного планування й управління. Ролі маркетингу під час реалізації стартап-проектів приділяється недостатньо уваги. Крім того, дослідники часто концентруються на певних напрямах маркетингової діяльності, не враховуючи необхідність стратегічного управління й впровадження цілісного маркетингового забезпечення. Тому актуальність дослідження зумовлена необхідністю перегляду, переосмислення і доповнення теоретико-практичного базису маркетингового забезпечення стартап-проектів. Метою дослідження є розробка науково-практичних рекомендацій з удосконалення маркетингового забезпечення стартап-проектів за рахунок стратегічного планування й управління процесом їх реалізації, а також шляхом врахування специфіки функцій і завдань маркетингу на різних етапах їх життєвого циклу. В результаті проведення досліджень висунуто авторське визначення поняття «стартап». У роботі також визначено місце стартап-проектів у законодавстві України. Розроблено композицію авторських маркетингових стратегій стартап-проектів. Стратегії поділено за такими критеріями – по кооперації (незалежна або кооптирування), на що націлена команда (холдерська або девелоперська), по цілі масштабування (класична, взаємозалежної масштабованості, залежної масштабованості, мінімалістична), по ступеню економічної свободи ринкових суб'єктів (самостійна чи несамостійна), по товару (холічна, інклюзивна, сервісна). Запропонована композиція маркетингових стратегій є актуальною і для промислового, і для споживчого ринків та може бути імплементована, зокрема, під час реалізації стартап-проектів у сферах комп'ютерного програмування, виробництва устаткування, машинобудування, телекомунікацій, екології (виробництва екологічно чистої електроенергії, альтернативних палив), видавництва та поліграфії, 3D друку, в авіаційній промисловості тощо.

Plasma membrane tension regulates many key cellular processes. It is modulated by, and can modulate, membrane trafficking. However, the cellular pathway(s) involved in this interplay is poorly understood. Here we find that, among a number of endocytic processes operating simultaneously at the cell surface, a dynamin independent pathway, the CLIC/GEEC (CG) pathway, is rapidly and specifically upregulated upon a sudden reduction of tension. Moreover, inhibition (activation) of the CG pathway results in lower (higher) membrane tension. However, alteration in membrane tension does not directly modulate CG endocytosis. This requires vinculin, a mechano-transducer recruited to focal adhesion in adherent cells. Vinculin acts by controlling the levels of a key regulator of the CG pathway, GBF1, at the plasma membrane. The SRU Act (law on urban solidarity and rehabilitation) of December 13th 2000 marked in France a renewal of spatial planning exercises. They are now part of the larger territory and pursue more transversal objectives than the only physical organization of space. This renewal comes in a context of widespread societal, political and territorial complexification that is accompanied by a growing unpredictability of the future. This context requires an overhaul of ambitions and ways of doing spatial planning: from a linear process (definition of the plan, implementation of the plan), it has to become adaptable, without losing sight of the objectives initially set. Planning now must be strategic and spatialized. Amongst the dimensions of this new way of planning, this dissertation focuses more specifically on the place of participation in the implementation of these new planning exercises. Participation is understood here in the broad sense of the involvement of all actors as stakeholders, who collectively contribute to the definition of a shared vision of the future of their territory. If the Territorial Coherence Plan is the flagship document of the evolution of planning in France, this dissertation opts to take an interest in other less studied strategic planning approaches: territorial projects. Two approaches of territorial prospective will be analyzed: the Nîmes Métropole 2030 Territorial Project and the revision of the Chartreuse Regional Natural Park's charter 2020-2035. These will show the diversity of exercises and contexts of implementation with nevertheless this common will to involve widely to co-construct a unifying vision of the future of the territory. ; La loi relative à la solidarité et au renouvellement urbains (loi SRU) du 13 décembre 2000 a marqué en France un renouveau des exercices de planification. Ceux-ci s'inscrivent désormais à l'échelle du grand territoire et poursuivent des objectifs plus transversaux que la seule organisation physique de l'espace. Ce renouveau intervient dans un contexte de complexification sociétale, politique et territoriale généralisée qui s'accompagne d'une imprévisibilité grandissante de l'avenir. Ce contexte nécessite ainsi une révision des ambitions et des manières de faire de la planification : d'un processus linéaire (définition du plan, mise en œuvre du plan), celle-ci doit désormais faire preuve d'adaptabilité, sans pour autant perdre de vue les objectifs fixés initialement. La planification se veut désormais stratégique et spatialisée. Parmi les dimensions de cette nouvelle manière de planifier, ce mémoire s'intéresse plus particulièrement à la place de la participation dans la mise en œuvre de ces nouveaux exercices de planification. La participation est ici entendue au sens large de l'implication de l'ensemble des acteurs en tant que parties prenantes, qui concourent collectivement à la définition d'une vision partagée de l'avenir de leur territoire. Si le Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale est le document phare de cette évolution de la planification en France, ce mémoire fait le choix de s'intéresser à d'autres démarches de planification stratégique moins étudiées : les projets de territoire. Deux démarches de prospective territoriale seront analysées : le Projet de Territoire de Nîmes Métropole 2030 et la révision de la charte du Parc naturel régional de Chartreuse 2020-2035. Elles permettront de montrer la diversité des exercices et des contextes de mise en oeuvre avec néanmoins cette volonté commune d'impliquer largement pour coconstruire une vision fédératrice de l'avenir du territoire.

The close empirical connections and conceptual affinities between populism and nationalism, have led to a widespread but misleading overlap between the concepts of populism and nationalism in academic debates, journalism and political rhetoric. Despite the obvious importance of the connections between nationalism and populism, their conceptual and empirical relations have received rather limited systematic attention. Drawing on the poststructuralist discourse theoretical tradition associated with Laclau and Mouffe and the Essex School of discourse analysis, this article treats populism and nationalism as distinct ways of discursively constructing and claiming to represent 'the people', as underdog and as nation respectively. The differences between them can also be identified and highlighted from a spatial or orientational perspective, by looking at the architectonics of populism and nationalism as revolving around a down/up (vertical-power) and an in/out (horizontal-identity and territory) axis respectively. Building on this framework, we suggest that the co-occurrence of populism and nationalism can fruitfully be studied through the prism of articulation. Again, a focus on discursive architectonics allows grasping how different political projects construct different discourses by connecting the building blocks of populism and nationalism in particular ways. The last part of the article illustrates the benefits of the discourse-theoretical approach by studying the articulation of populism and nationalism in the populist radical right's exclusionary nationalist rejection of ethnic-cultural diversity, and in the criticisms of supra-national and multi-national politics found both on the Left and on the Right. ; Las estrechas conexiones empíricas y las afinidades conceptuales entre el populismo y el nacionalismo han llevado a una superposición generalizada pero engañosa entre los conceptos de populismo y nacionalismo en los debates académicos, en el periodismo y en la retórica política. A pesar de la evidente importancia de las conexiones entre el nacionalismo y el populismo, sus relaciones conceptuales y empíricas han recibido una atención bastante limitada. Basándonos en la tradición teórico-discursivo post-estructuralista asociada a Laclau y Mouffe y la Escuela de Essex de análisis del discurso, este artículo trata el populismo y el nacionalismo como formas distintas de construir discursivamente y de reclamar representar al "pueblo" como "los de abajo" (underdog en inglés) y como nación, respectivamente. Las diferencias entre ambos conceptos también se pueden identificar y resaltar desde una perspectiva espacial u orientacional, al mirar la arquitectura del populismo y el nacionalismo como si se estructurase en torno a un eje abajo/arriba (poder vertical) y un dentro/fuera (horizontal - identidad y territorio) respectivamente. Sobre la base de este marco, sugerimos que la coincidencia del populismo y el nacionalismo pueden estudiarse fructíferamente a través del prisma de la articulación. Una vez más, un enfoque en la arquitectura discursiva permite comprender cómo distintos proyectos políticos construyen diferentes discursos al conectar los componentes básicos del populismo y el nacionalismo de maneras particulares. La última parte del artículo ilustra los beneficios del enfoque teórico-discursivo al estudiar la articulación del populismo y el nacionalismo en el rechazo excluyente y nacionalista de la derecha populista radical de la diversidad étnico-cultural y en las críticas de la política supranacional y multinacional encontradas tanto en la izquierda como en la derecha.

Dissertação de Mestrado Integrado em Engenharia Electrotécnica e de Computadores apresentada à Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia ; Redes de Internet das Coisas em que existe recolha de energia do ambiente são o alicerce de uma série de conceitos de alta conectividade contemporâneos nos quais é necessário extrair cada vez mais informação do ambiente, ao mesmo tempo que se mantém a perpetuidade operacional dos mesmos.Maximizar a recolha de dados do meio envolvente usando uma rede deste tipo com conectividade multi-etapa enquanto se mantém uma operação energética neutra é uma tarefa complexa pois é necessário equilibrar a utilidade global da rede e a escassez de recursos energéticos.Para concretizar uma operação óptima de uma rede de Internet das Coisas com recolha de energia do ambiente recorre-se à construção de um modelo de optimização baseado em Programação Linear Inteira Mista, em que são considerados dois aspectos adicionais: aquisição obrigatória de ocorrências notáveis ao longo do tempo e do espaço, denominadas de eventos; e a transmissão de dados deve utilizar um mecanismo de agregação de dados, de forma a tornar a comunicação mais eficiente.Para que o modelo proposto seja validado e analisado adequadamente, é desenvolvida uma plataforma que permite efectuar simulações com o modelo, as quais têm como parâmetros de entrada dados que refletem condições operacionais estudadas. Com base nos resultados das simulações realizadas, constata-se que o modelo apresentado é bem sucedido nos vários cenários experimentais considerados.Os resultados obtidos confirmam a validade do modelo proposto. Os dados recolhidos permitem identificar padrões no comportamento da rede que possibilitam a construção de uma heurística distribuída sub-óptima que atinja um desempenho semelhante em tempo real. ; Energy Harvesting Internet of Things Networks serve nowadays as the backbone of a myriad of high-connectivity concepts in where it is necessary to extract more and more information from the environment while maintaining a perpetual operational state. Maximizing the collection of environmental data employing a multi-hop Energy Harvesting IoT Network while maintaining an Energy Neutral Operation is a challenging task because it is necessary to balance overall network utility with the scarcity of energy resources, typical of Energy Harvesting techniques. A Mixed-Integer Linear Programming optimization model is constructed to achieve an optimal operation in an Energy Harvesting IoT Network. Two additional aspects are considered: enforced acquisition of spatio-temporal notable occurrences labeled as events; and the use of a data aggregation mechanism when performing data communication.A framework is developed which can perform simulations with the proposed model so it can be validated and appropriately analyzed. The model simulations are supplied with input data that mirrors a studied operational setting. Based on the simulations results, the effectiveness of the presented network model is derived under different operational schemes. The obtained results confirm the validity of the proposed model. Data collected with the ATLAS detector from proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider at a centre-of-mass energy of s√=13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 36.1 fb−1, are analysed. The search is performed using top-quark pair events, with one top quark decaying through the t → qZ (q = u, c) flavour-changing neutral-current channel, and the other through the dominant Standard Model mode t → bW. Only Z boson decays into charged leptons and leptonic W boson decays are considered as signal. Consequently, the final-state topology is characterized by the presence of three isolated charged leptons (electrons or muons), at least two jets, one of the jets originating from a b-quark, and missing transverse momentum from the undetected neutrino. The data are consistent with Standard Model background contributions, and at 95% confidence level the search sets observed (expected) upper limits of 1.7 × 10−4 (2.4 × 10−4) on the t → uZ branching ratio and 2.4 × 10−4 (3.2 × 10−4) on the t → cZ branching ratio, constituting the most stringent limits to date. ; We thank CERN for the very successful operation of the LHC, as well as the support staff from our institutions without whom ATLAS could not be operated e_ciently. This paper reports searches for heavy resonances decaying into ZZ or ZW using data from proton--proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of s√=13 TeV. The data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 36.1 fb−1, were recorded with the ATLAS detector in 2015 and 2016 at the Large Hadron Collider. The searches are performed in final states in which one Z boson decays into either a pair of light charged leptons (electrons and muons) or a pair of neutrinos, and the associated W boson or the other Z boson decays hadronically. No evidence of the production of heavy resonances is observed. Upper bounds on the production cross sections of heavy resonances times their decay branching ratios to ZZ or ZW are derived in the mass range 300-5000 GeV within the context of Standard Model extensions with additional Higgs bosons, a heavy vector triplet or warped extra dimensions. The modification of the production of J/ψ, ψ(2S), and Υ (nS) (n = 1, 2, 3) in p+Pb collisions with respect to their production in pp collisions has been studied. The p+Pb and pp datasets used in this paper correspond to integrated luminosities of 28 nb−1 and 25 pb−1 respectively, collected in 2013 and 2015 by the ATLAS detector at the LHC, both at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of 5.02 TeV. The quarkonium states are reconstructed in the dimuon decay channel. The yields of J/ψ and ψ(2S) are separated into prompt and non-prompt sources. The measured quarkonium differential cross sections are presented as a function of rapidity and transverse momentum, as is the nuclear modification factor, RpPb for J/ψ and Υ (nS). No significant modification of the J/ψ production is observed while Υ (nS) production is found to be suppressed at low transverse momentum in p+Pb collisions relative to pp collisions. A search is conducted for new resonances decaying into a W or Z boson and a 125 GeV Higgs boson in the νν¯bb¯, ℓ±νbb¯, and ℓ+ℓ−bb¯ final states, where ℓ±=e± or μ±, in pp collisions at s√=13 TeV. The data used correspond to a total integrated luminosity of 36.1 fb−1 collected with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider during the 2015 and 2016 data-taking periods. The search is conducted by examining the reconstructed invariant or transverse mass distributions of Wh and Zh candidates for evidence of a localised excess in the mass range of 220 GeV up to 5 TeV. No significant excess is observed and the results are interpreted in terms of constraints on the production cross-section times branching fraction of heavy W′ and Z′ resonances in heavy-vector-triplet models and the CP-odd scalar boson A in two-Higgs-doublet models. 15 pags, 8 figs ; Murine adenovirus 2 (MAdV-2) infects cells of the mouse gastrointestinal tract. Like human adenoviruses, it is a member of the genus Mastadenovirus, family Adenoviridae. The MAdV-2 genome has a single fibre gene that expresses a 787 residue-long protein. Through analogy to other adenovirus fibre proteins, it is expected that the carboxy-terminal virus-distal head domain of the fibre is responsible for binding to the host cell, although the natural receptor is unknown. The putative head domain has little sequence identity to adenovirus fibres of known structure. In this report, we present high-resolution crystal structures of the carboxy-terminal part of the MAdV-2 fibre. The structures reveal a domain with the typical adenovirus fibre head topology and a domain containing two triple ß-spiral repeats of the shaft domain. Through glycan microarray profiling, saturation transfer difference nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, isothermal titration calorimetry and site-directed mutagenesis, we show that the fibre specifically binds to the monosaccharide N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc). The crystal structure of the complex reveals that GlcNAc binds between the AB and CD loops at the top of each of the three monomers of the MAdV-2 fibre head. However, infection competition assays show that soluble GlcNAc monosaccharide and natural GlcNAc-containing polymers do not inhibit infection by MAdV-2. Furthermore, site-directed mutation of the GlcNAc-binding residues does not prevent the inhibition of infection by soluble fibre protein. On the other hand, we show that the MAdV-2 fibre protein binds GlcNAc-containing mucin glycans, which suggests that the MAdV-2 fibre protein may play a role in viral mucin penetration in the mouse gut. ; This research was sponsored by grant BFU2014-53425-P (to M. The Global Peace Index (GPI) is a study to measure peace levels of different countries at a national and international level and rank 162 nations according to their "absence of violence" since 2007. It examines which countries are involved in ongoing national and international conflict while evaluating peace. 23 qualitative and quantitative indicators with auxiliary 32 economic and societal indicators are used. It does not just draw attention to violence and conflict, but also help us, mainly political leaders, to understand those and invest in a more peaceful world. Nevertheless, GPI is inadequate at some points. Firstly, GPI does not base on a proper theoretical model for peace so that the work is done without having a solid theoretical modelling. Second, is the absence of objective selection and weighting of the indicators being assessed an ad hoc manner. Lastly, the series in use are not reproducible, in order that the GPI production is limited to a certain period of time. This study aims to bring out the significant determinants that feed the peace as well as conflicts in societies both internally and externally. Data series collected independently from the IEP are used in their original forms without transforming them into categorical forms. By this way, we developed objective weighted series, which makes it possible to reproduce GPI back in time until 1960. Non-parametric technique of Partial Least Squares Path Modelling is employed for producing GPI values. With the production of alternative series, this thesis explores the changes in peace level of MENA countries in the long run. Yapılan çalışma yalnızca yaşanan şiddet ve kargaşalara dikkat çekmekle kalmayıp aynı zamanda siyasi liderler içinde bir "uyanış çağrışı" olup daha barışçıl bir dünyaya yatırım yapılmasına da yardımcı olur. Fakat çalışmanın yetersiz olduğu noktalar bulunmaktadır. İlk olarak, GPI barış için uygun bir teorik modele dayanmadan yapılmaktadır. Diğer bir eksiklik ise göstergeler için objektif seçimin yokluğu ve niyete mahsus bir şekilde değerlendirilmeleridir. Son olarakta GPI üretimi için kullanılan seriler tekrarlanabilir değildir. Bu çalışma hem iç hem dış kaynaklı, toplumlarda barışı ve çatışmaları besleyen önemli belirleyicileri ortaya çıkararak alternatif barış endeksi üretebilmektir. Değişkenler için objektif ağırlıklar kullanılarak Küresel Barış Endeksi'ni yeniden üretilebilir hale getirip 1960 senesine kadar gidebilen alternative seriler oluşturulmuştur. Alternatif serilerin oluşturulması için ise Kısmi En Küçük Kareler Yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Üretilen alternatif seriler ile MENA ülkelerinin zaman içerisinde barış seviyesinde gösterdiği değişmeler incelenmiştir. Background: In 2015, the second cycle of the CONCORD programme established global surveillance of cancer survival as a metric of the effectiveness of health systems and to inform global policy on cancer control. CONCORD-3 updates the worldwide surveillance of cancer survival to 2014. Methods: CONCORD-3 includes individual records for 37·5 million patients diagnosed with cancer during the 15-year period 2000–14. Data were provided by 322 population-based cancer registries in 71 countries and territories, 47 of which provided data with 100% population coverage. The study includes 18 cancers or groups of cancers: oesophagus,stomach, colon, rectum, liver, pancreas, lung, breast (women), cervix, ovary, prostate, and melanoma of the skin in adults, and brain tumours, leukaemias, and lymphomas in both adults and children. Standardised quality control procedures were applied; errors were rectified by the registry concerned. We estimated 5-year net survival. Estimates were age-standardised with the International Cancer Survival Standard weights. Findings: For most cancers, 5-year net survival remains among the highest in the world in the USA and Canada, in Australia and New Zealand, and in Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. For many cancers, Denmark is closing the survival gap with the other Nordic countries. Survival trends are generally increasing, even for some of the more lethal cancers: in some countries, survival has increased by up to 5% for cancers of the liver, pancreas, and lung. For women diagnosed during 2010–14, 5-year survival for breast cancer is now 89·5% in Australia and 90·2% in the USA, but international differences remain very wide, with levels as low as 66·1% in India. For gastrointestinal cancers, the highest levels of 5-year survival are seen in southeast Asia: in South Korea for cancers of the stomach (68·9%), colon (71·8%), and rectum (71·1%); in Japan for oesophageal cancer (36·0%); and in Taiwan for liver cancer (27·9%). By contrast, in the same world region, survival is generally lower than elsewhere for melanoma of the skin (59·9% in South Korea, 52·1% in Taiwan, and 49·6% in China), and for both lymphoid malignancies (52·5%, 50·5%, and 38·3%) and myeloid malignancies (45·9%, 33·4%, and 24·8%). For children diagnosed during 2010–14, 5-year survival for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia ranged from 49·8% in Ecuador to 95·2% in Finland. 5-year survival from brain tumours in children is higher than for adults but the global range is very wide (from 28·9% in Brazil to nearly 80% in Sweden and Denmark). Interpretation: The CONCORD programme enables timely comparisons of the overall effectiveness of health systems in providing care for 18 cancers that collectively represent 75% of all cancers diagnosed worldwide every year. It contributes to the evidence base for global policy on cancer control. Since 2017, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development has used findings from the CONCORD programme as the official benchmark of cancer survival, among their indicators of the quality of health care in 48 countries worldwide. Governments must recognise population-based cancer registries as key policy tools that can be used to evaluate both the impact of cancer prevention strategies and the effectiveness of health systems for all patients diagnosed with cancer. ; peer-reviewed
