AbstractThis paper introduces novel data on public sentiment towards economic sanctions based on nearly 1 million social media posts in 108 countries during the Russia–Ukraine war by using machine learning. We show the geographical heterogeneity between government stances and public sentiment. Finally, we show how political regimes, trading relationships and political instability can predict how people perceive this war.

International audience ; On August 22, 2012, Russia became the 156th Member of the World Trade Organization (WTO). The decision of Russia to join WTO is included in a national strategy to undertake reforms that are necessary for the modernization of its economy, by a diversification of the production, an improvement of competitiveness and the openness through a wide range of options. Russia joining the WTO corrects a great anomaly. It was an interesting economic stake. When Russia becomes a member of WTO, USA is more critic on this organization. The mercantilist approach was, for centuries, a driving force in trade policy. Today, its thought is not clearly expressed by the US government, but the mercantilist methods and policy seems more and more sustained by him. It is the beginning of a paradox.

The paper reviews the recent conduct of monetary policy and the central bank's rule-based behavior in Russia. Using different policy rules, we test whether the central bank in Russia reacts to changes in inflation, output gap and the exchange rate in a consistent and predictable manner. Our results indicate that during the period of 1993-2002 the Bank of Russia has used monetary aggregates as a main policy instrument in conducting monetary policy.

SINCE RUSSIA'S EMERGENCE AS AN INDEPENDENT STATE CONSIDERABLE DISAGREEMENT HAS ARISEN AMONG BOTH WESTERN AND RUSSIAN SCHOLARS OVER WHETHER A TRANSFORMATION IN THE POLITICAL ELITE HAS OCCURRED. THIS ARTICLE ADDRESSES THIS QUESTION, FOCUSING EXCLUSIVELY ON THE CONTINUITY OF A SPECIFIC VARIETY OF LEADERS. IT ANALYZES THE EXTENT OF TURNOVER AMONG POLITICAL ELITES AT BOTH THE NATIONAL AND REGIONAL LEVELS IN RUSSIA. IT CONCLUDES THAT 1996 SURVEY DATA SHOWS THAT, ON THE WHOLE, RUSSIA'S NEW NATIONAL-LEVEL ELITES WERE NOT DRAWN FROM THE UPPER RANKS OF THE PARTY OR STATE APPARATUS. MOST OF TODAY'S POLITICAL LEADERS ARE NOT DRAWN FROM HIGHLY POLITICIZED SEGMENTS OF THE OLD REGIME; THEY WERE NEITHER COMMUNIST PARTY ACTIVISTS NOR COMMITTED DISSIDENTS.

A matéria do estudo é a potencial utilização das tecnologias de blockchain e moeda digital.A base teórica e metodológica para este estudo das tecnologias blockchain e criptomoedas na Federação Russa foi recolhida das fontes de literatura científica, instrumentos normativos legislativos, dados de agências internacionais, fontes digitais, entre outras. Os dados usados neste estudo são os dados secundários encontrados em artigos e estudos que, por sua vez, aproveitaram-se das vantagens de acesso a fontes online, tais como charts de blockchain, CoinMarketCap, Cointelegraph, Bitcoin.com, Cryptocoinsnews e DeCenter, bem como bases de dados do Banco Central da Federação Russa.
