"This book offers an ethnographic exploration of the role that atmosphere plays in work processes undertaken within an urban design studio. It provides understandings of how architectural practices are fueled with atmosphere in various configurations throughout different design phases of selected projects for construction. "In this volume, I discuss the topic of being able to speak two or more languages from three different orientations: bilingualism, bilinguality, and bilingual education. Bilingualism is more theory-oriented discussed at three levels: the individual level, the societal and institutional level, and the national and international level. Bilinguality, on the other hand, focuses more on the cognitive and neuro-linguistic parts of language function. That is, how bilinguals function in their brain while dealing with two or more languages. Finally, bilingual education presents the practical part of how language learning and acquisition is arranged in different areas of the globe based on their historical backgrounds and language policies. This volume contains the proceedings of the 2nd IFToMM Workshop for Sustainable Development Goals - I4SDG 2023 held in Bilbao, Spain, on 22-23 June 2023. The workshop papers are focused on those aspects of the theory, design and applications of Mechanism and Machine Science that are fundamental for moving towards sustainable development. The main topics of the workshop are: sustainable energy systems, robotics and mechatronics, biomechanical and medical systems, education, linkages, gears, transmissions and actuators, engines and powertrains, tribology, transportation machinery, service systems for sustainability, humanitarian engineering and socio-technical systems for sustainable and inclusive development.
