The Iraq-Turkey Crude Oil (ITP) Pipelines consists of 40" and 46" diameter parallel lines have length of 652 km. ITP lines, which provide the delivery of crude oil extracted from Iraq-Kirkuk region to Ceyhan Marine Terminal, have a carrying capacity of 70.9 Mton / year. ITP Pipeline System has 6 crude oil pumping stations with 4 main line pumps are installed on these lines. These pumping stations are PS-3 Silopi (Şırnak), PS-3A İdil (Şırnak), PS-4 Midyat (Mardin), PS-4A Viranşehir (Ş.Urfa), PS-4B Araban (G.Antep) and PS-5 Pazarcık (K.Maraş) respectively in the direction of the lines flow. After the smart pigging operations, which is one of the non-destructive inspection methods especially for pipelines, according to the pipeline fault mechanical damage reports at numerous points repairs or renewal has emerged due to external and internal corrosion between PS-3 Silopi (Şırnak) and PS-4A Viranşehir (Ş.Urfa). The aim of this study is to reveal the operational gains to be achieved when pipelines that need to be repaired or renewed are repositioned on an alternative route and to guide the investment decision. Within the scope of the study, first of all, from the non-destructive examination results reports made with the smart pig method in the existing pipelines, the defective area that needs repair and renewal was determined and the most suitable alternative route created in terms of operation and energy saving. As a result of comparing the new hydraulic profile to be formed on the alternative route with the current situation, determining the pump stations that was out of use or need to be installed. The process was examined in terms of energy and exergy efficiency in cases where the main line pumps in the stations and stations work at different flow rates. x With the collected data and scenarios created, the pipeline was modeled and it was investigated whether there is gain in alternative situations in terms of energy, exergy and operation. As a result, it is aimed to benefit BOTAŞ top management about making investment decisions by reporting alternatives. ; Irak-Türkiye Ham Petrol (ITP) Boru Hatları 40" ve 46" birbirine paralel 650 km'lik iki hattan oluşmaktadır. Irak-Kerkük bölgesinden çıkarılan ham petrolün Ceyhan Deniz Terminaline iletimini sağlayan ITP hatları, yılda 70.9 Mton/yıl taşıma kapasitesine sahiptir. Söz konusu hatların üzerinde, her birinde 4 adet ana hat pompası bulunan, 6 adet pompa istasyonu kuruludur. Bu istasyonlar hatların akışı yönünde sırasıyla PS-3 Silopi(Şırnak), PS-3A İdil(Şırnak), PS-4 Midyat(Mardin), PS-4A Viranşehir(Ş.Urfa), PS-4B Araban(G.Antep), PS-5 Pazarcık(K.Maraş) pompa istasyonlarıdır. Özellikle boru hatları için tahribatsız muayene yöntemlerinden biri olan akıllı pig ile, boru hattı hata mekanik hasar raporlarına göre, PS-3 Silopi(Şırnak) ile PS-4A Viranşehir(Ş.Urfa) arasında 248 km'lik bölümde birçok noktada dış ve iç korozyon nedeniyle, onarıma hatta boru yenilenmesine ihtiyaç olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu çalışmada amaç onarılması ya da yenilenmesi gereken boru hatlarının, alternatif bir güzergahta yeniden konumlandırılması durumunda elde edilecek operasyonel kazanımları ortaya çıkarmak ve yatırım kararına yön vermektir. Çalışma kapsamında öncelikle mevcut boru hatlarındaki akıllı pig yöntemiyle yapılan tahribatsız muayene sonuç raporlarından onarım ve yenileme gereken kusurlu bölge belirlenerek, işletme açısından ve enerji tasarrufu yönünden en uygun alternatif güzergah oluşturulması hedeflenmiştir. Oluşturulan alternatif güzergahta oluşacak yeni hidrolik profilin mevcut durumla karşılaştırılması sonucunda kullanım dışı kalacak veya kurulması gereken pompa istasyonları belirlenmiş, istasyonların ve istasyonlardaki ana hat pompalarının farklı debilerde çalışma durumlarında proses enerji ve ekserji verimliliği yönünden irdelenmiştir. Toplanan veriler ve oluşturulan senaryolar ile boru hattı modellenerek enerji, ekserji ve viii operasyon yönünden alternatif durumlarda kazanım olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak; elde edilen verilerin BOTAŞ üst raporlanması sonucunda yatırım kararı alma konusunda fayda sağlanması hedeflenmektedir.

Auch der staatliche Umgang mit ihnen ist nicht klar definiert - besonders hinsichtlich Abschiebungen. Brigitte Kukovetz zeigt in ihrer empirischen Untersuchung, dass sich Menschen mit irregulärem Aufenthalt in einem Catch-22, einem unlösbaren Dilemma zwischen unterschiedlichen Handlungsalternativen, befinden. Sie untersucht dieses Phänomen, indem sie die Interaktionen zwischen abschiebungsgefährdeten Migrant_innen, deren Unterstützer_innen und staatlichen Behörden analysiert und mögliche politische Handlungsspielräume diskutiert.

This volume tells the story of the Helsinki Process from the immediate post-war period through the signing of the Helsinki Final Act in 1975 to the collapse of the Soviet empire and up to the present day. Treating it as a single narrative in the search for a just and stable order in Europe adds significantly to the copious but mostly narrowly focused academic literature on the subject. Divided into 26 chapters, it can also serve as a handy reference book for different phases of the story. Chapter 22 examines the continuing debate over whether the West is responsible for the breakdown of relations with Russia and why the Helsinki Process failed to avert it. Chapter 26 asks whether the remarkable multilateral diplomacy that produced the Final Act could be replicated in other troubled areas today. Many countries are faced with ethnic conflict and the need to protect their national minorities. Regional territorial autonomy is a legal-political device to combine minority protection with internal self-determination in a regional framework, without changing the concerned state's boundaries. Applying this method, sustainable solutions to serious and protracted state-minority conflicts have been developed in about 60 regions within at least 22 states. While aiming for new partnerships between the central state and the regional community, territorial autonomy has met with varying degrees of success in different parts of the world. After a theoretical introduction to the political concept and scope of autonomy, the author guides the reader through the multifarious world of operating autonomy systems. 'Autonomies at work' in different continents are compared and contrasted, providing a holistic view of the subject. The author's functional analysis probes the main issues of territorial autonomy and its practical applications. Typical elements are worked out, factors behind autonomy's (un/)successful operations in diverse locations are investigated and perspectives of further development are highlighted. Given the importance of regional autonomy as a means of conflict resolution and minority protection, this timely work is indispensable not just for experts and decision-makers, but also for readers interested in the political structures that shape the world around them. The Polish stage of the "Hiroshima-Auschwitz Peace March" 1962‒1963. Buddhist-pacifist and political contexts of former German Nazi concentration camps as places of remembrance of the Holocaust and World War II

As a result of the increased activity of organizations for former prisoners of the concentration and extermination camps, shortly after World War II, the memory of events at KL Auschwitz-Birkenau reached a global scale. In February 1962, an interreligious group of four young people, led by Satō Gyōtsu (1919‒2018) – a monk from a Buddhist order named Nipponzan-Myōhōji (Nichiren tradition) – undertook to march between Hiroshima and Oświęcim. Their purpose was to tell the truth about the crimes committed in both cities and spread the ideas of pacifism and disarmament. Within ten months, they visited 22 countries. The article primarily analyzes the Polish stage of the "Peace March," based on an analysis of materials written by veterans and former prisoners of the camp in Auschwitz as well as texts published in the daily press. The second part of the article deals with the religious aspect of the "Peace March" in a broader context, discussing the complicity and collective responsibility of religious organizations, including Buddhist, for the drama of World War II. This "Peace March," according to the author, was a form of confession of repentance and religious redress.

This paper is a personal narrative of involvement with the revelations of the use of anatomical and pathological specimens of victims of Nazi terror. The narrative documents responses to the question of the retention and use of anatomical and pathological specimens from victims of Nazi terror by leading academic and scientific institutions and organizations in Germany and Austria including the government of the Federal Republic of (West) Germany, the University of Tübingen, the University of Vienna, the Max Planck Society and the Anatomische Gesellschaft. It begins with the public revelations of 1989 and concludes with the September 2010 Symposium on the History of Anatomy during the Third Reich at the University of Würzburg. The narrative documents a 22-year transition in attitude and responses to the investigation and documentation of the history of anatomy and pathology during the Third Reich. The chronicle includes the 1989 proposed "Call for an International Commemoration" by the author, together with the bioethicist Professor Arthur Caplan, on the occasion of the planned burial of the misbegotten specimens and the responses to that proposal. Legislation Number 1 of 1974 concerning marriage underwent changes related to the rules for the marriage age limit it is in Article 7 paragraph (1) which states that marriage is only permitted if the prospective groom is 19 years old and the bride is 16 years old. These values are considered no longer relevant to the objectives of Islamic law, such as benefit and cause a lot of harm. Therefore, the government set a new rule regarding the age limit for marriage with the enactment of Legislation Number 16 of 2019 concerning Amendments to Legislation Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. The focus of this research is on the development of marriage law regarding the age limit for marriage in terms of the Legislation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 16 of 2019 concerning Amendments to Legislation Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage and Legal Assurance Theory. The research that the author conducts includes library research, which is a study that aims to collect data and information sourced from library data such as books, books and articles. The data collection method used is the documentation method. The primary data sources used are copies of Legislation Number 16 of 2019 and the Decision of the Constitutional Court Number 22/PUU-XV/2017.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems experienced by villages related to the management of village funds and also to analyze the Application of Accounting System for Village Fund Management which includes Cash Receipts, Cash Expenditures, Fixed Assets, and Taxes. This research was conducted in Tincep Village, Sonder Sub District, Minahasa District. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The results show that the management of village funds in Tincep Village is in accordance with Permendagri No.113 of 2014 and the priority of the use of village funds in Tincep Village is also appropriate based on PermenDesaPDTT No. 22 of 2016, The application of accounting system in Tincep village is in accordance with the legislation, but if viewed from the side of administrative supervision is still not fully in accordance with the provisions, especially in the process of cash expenditures that have not been accountable and often not appropriate procedures. Therefore the author suggests that the need for a computerized accounting system so that later every accounting process can be done quickly and the output of financial statements will also be more reliable than the reporting manually, also in the future it is expected that management related to village fund can be done more accountable and transparent.Keywords : Management of village finances, accounting information system, village fund

The final version is available from Wiley via the DOI in this record. ; Complex stochastic models are commonplace in epidemiology, but their utility depends on their calibration to empirical data. History matching is a (pre-)calibration method that has been applied successfully to complex deterministic models. In this work, we adapt history matching to stochastic models, by emulating the variance in the model outputs, and therefore accounting for its dependence on the model's input values. The proposed method is applied to a real complex epidemiological model of HIV in Uganda with 22 inputs and 18 outputs, and is found to increase the efficiency of history matching, requiring 70% of the time and 43% fewer simulator evaluations compared to a previous variant of the method. On 22 August 2012, Russia finally became, nineteen years after its application, a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO). This historical step was applauded by many EU officials as they argue that Russia's WTO accession not only means the country's definitive accession into the world market economy, but that it also creates a window of opportunity for deepening EU-Russia trade relations. The current EU-Russia legal framework, the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA), is limited in its scope and contents and does not provide the EU with a solid legal instrument to rely on in its many trade disputes with Russia. Therefore, this article analyses to which extent Russia's multilateral WTO accession commitments will broaden and deepen the bilateral PCA in order to reduce or settle these trade conflicts. Particular attention will be devoted to the EU's role in Russia's WTO accession process. On the basis of three case-studies (i.e., (i) Russia's sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) import bans, (ii) energy disputes and (iii) Russia's export duties on raw materials), the author argues that the results are rather mixed. In addition, it will be demonstrated that the prospect of an EU-Russia Free Trade Area (FTA) remains unrealistic because the feasibility of such an undertaking is hampered by several legal and political obstacles.

Socialisation theories have traditionally focused on how children are socialised in a rather unidirectional manner, according to a transmission model. However, more recent research and theories show that children are not just passive recipients, but active agents in their socialisation process. At the same time, children are subordinated to adult control. In school, they are regimented and involuntarily subjected to mass routines, discipline and control. The aim of this study was to explore and give a voice to pupils' critical thinking about school rules and their teachers' behaviour in relation to these rules. Ethnographic fieldwork and group interviews with students were conducted in two Swedish primary schools. The findings show that pupils criticise some school rules, distrust teachers' explanations of particular school rules, perceive some school rules and teachers' interventions as unfair and inconsistent, perceive no power over the construction of school rules, and express false acceptance and hidden criticism.
