The author of the article draws from his research conclusions made while directing the documentary "Gustavs Klucis. The Deconstruction of an Artist" about the world- famous avant-garde artist Gustavs Klucis (1895–1938). The contribution examines the chivalric relationship of the artists with the Bolshevik rule over the period from the October Revolution until World War II, from the first revolutionary art education establishments, production units, and exhibitions to detention camps and execution firing ranges. The main research question, "Is the Bolshevik revolution related to the art of avant-garde and constructivism?" The contribu- tion offers a new version about whether and how the conception of new art supported the conception of a radically anti-human political system. The Russian 1917 Bolshevik revolution formed a strange but also natural alliance with art, resulting in the Russian avant-garde artists taking power. If we talk about the way how Latvian artists moved into the area of leftist ideas, it is more likely to be fate than their art or a philosophical trend. However, a third party intruded into this chivalric romance of art and power. The third party was an undereducated and non-creative perception of the world, called cockroach consciousness, which is best represented by Lebyadkin in Fyodor Dostoyevsky's (Фёдор Достоевский) brilliant novel "Demons" ("Бесы"), which predicts the revolution. The author of this contribution takes a closer look at the role of Latvian artists in creating the attractive features of the Bolshevik revolution and shaping a framework for the repressive system.

As we continue to navigate the complex challenges of a pandemic and the urgent need for racial justice, social work faculty are well positioned to train the next generation of social workers in human rights work and structural change movements. Authors discuss how engaging key critical empowerment frameworks that include critical race theory, structural competency, together with a decolonizing and transdisciplinary lens within community-engaged research and practice can provide social work students models for collective impact. Leveraging university-community partnerships to directly provide faculty mentorship around human rights work will also be discussed. One author has been working with the institution's law school and their Neighborhood Legal Assistance Project to provide support, legal resources, and advocacy. She has also co-founded and is developing a Chicago-based coalition to address intimate partner violence-induced brain injury. The second author has helped start and develop two coalitions to advance a coordinated structural response involving the provision of mental health resource support and psychosocial forensic asylum assessments within immigrant communities. Authors also discuss how students have been engaged in health equity work through a racial and healing justice initiative that values and provides training around healing circles within indigenous communities and communities of color. Through these rich learning experiences, students internalize the value of critical empowerment frameworks that inform participatory approaches in collaboration and coalition building that are essential to social justice work and the process of social and structural change.

First-person accounts of disability and chronic illness have been foundational to the development of disability studies and disability activism. The production of the literary disability memoir places certain rhetorical demands on its author, requiring the memoirist to "translate" their unique experiences as a disabled subject into language the nondisabled reader is equipped to understand. Using key concepts from disabled writers Eli Clare and Neil Marcus, the essay evaluates the disability memoir as a piece of assistive technology produced not for disabled people, but by disabled writers for the benefit of the reader whose embodied experience of disability and chronic illness is limited. These "accessibility accommodations" serve to mitigate the effects of experiential limitation in order to facilitate nondisabled readers' engagement with disabled ways of being and knowing. The essay offers an overview of rhetorical strategies disabled memoirists use to make their narratives accessible, and surveys examples of literary memoir from authors writing from and through different mental, neurological, and physical conditions. I argue that adapting a first-person account of disability for the page results in a necessary, unavoidable disembodiment of the author's story; this disembodiment is not a failure of the author to represent their lives fully and accurately, but rather an ingenious innovation on the part of disabled, chronically ill, terminally ill, and neurodivergent writers. As assistive technology, the disability memoir subverts of the typical disabled-nondisabled power dynamic, placing the nondisabled reader on the receiving end of the disabled author's accommodations.

The author of the article focuses on a topic that has not been sufficiently studied by experts and analysts – the role of the Shiite factor in the religious and political life of Muslim communities in Europe. This situation is partly due to the small size of the Shia communities and the increased loyalty of most of their members to the authorities of the host country in comparison with the Sunni communities, which are much more numerous and have a longer history of coexistence with the indigenous population on the European continent. As part of the study of the problems of Islamic radicalism and extremism in Europe, the previous issues of the Bulletin examined in detail the structure, system and features of the activities of the cells and organizations of the international association of the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood there. They are almost openly patronized by such states as Turkey and Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and a number of other Arab states are trying to expose in the eyes of Europeans and limit the influence of «brothers» in the Old World. Behind the Shiite radicals in Europe are, of course, Iran and groups like Hezbollah sponsored by it, as well as international organizations of Shiite Muslims. The author notes the strengthening of radical sentiments in the Shiite communities of European countries. This is due not only to the efforts of Iran's paramilitary structures, extremist Hezbollah, but also in many respects – paradoxically – the rapprochement between Sunni and Shiite radicals on European territory.

The article shows the causes and consequences of the deplorable state of the Russian economic science and higher economic education. They are rooted, first of all, in the persecution to which economics was subjected in Soviet times, especially during the Stalinist period. As a result, it lost the most talented scientists. There was no need for good economists in the command economy, so higher economic education had low prestige. In the post-Soviet period, due to the transition to a market economy, the need for economists to work in government institutions and commercial structures increased. However, it turned out that the current system of higher economic education is unable to satisfy it. The author shows negative consequences of a low level of economic education for solving national economic problems and managing companies. The low level of economic science did not allow economists to justify an effective transition to a market economy, taking into account the peculiarities of the Soviet economy and Russian history. In the post-Soviet period, the political leadership focused only on economists loyal to the government, without taking into account their professionalism. The author proposes the ways of improving the quality of economic science and higher economic education. The emphasis is on a sharp reduction in the number of researchers and teaching staff (and a reduction in the number of students), with a simultaneous significant increase in the remuneration of researchers and teachers basing on objective criteria for evaluating their activities. This will allow democratizing the management of universities and scientific institutions, abolishing bureaucratic control over their activities.

The article presents the results of the empirical study about the impact of the police suppression of street rallies on the political communication in social networks. Based on the messages published in the social network VKontakte during the discussion of a series of protests that took place in Moscow in the summer of 2019 on the eve of the City Duma elections, the author analyzes how police violence affects publishing activity on the Internet and the demand for the published content. The author reveals a positive relationship between the use of force by the police and the intensity of the discussion of the relevant event. According to his conclusion, the effect can be explained not only by a surge of interest in the protest events of a lesser scale, but also by the ability of motivated users to search and find an additional audience via the commenting mechanism. By communicating about what happened in the comments on neutral messages within the initially non-politicized communities, such users draw new people into the protest communication. In the event of a police crackdown, the number of comments that make up the most "democratic" part of the political communication in the new media, which is available even to users with low media capital, increases dramatically. The effectiveness of these comments is also increasing, in a sense that they are attracting new users into the discussion, which results in spreading the content to the pages, where protest actions are normally not discussed.

Objectives To systematically review architects' literature concerning stair promoting design interventions for reducing sedentary behavior and improving occupational health. Data Sources English language, manuscripts published between 2000 and 2022 in Google scholar, Science Direct, PubMed, CINAHL, and ERIC. Study Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria The criteria for inclusion in this review include; Presence of two words from the searching term in the title, a study conducted by an architect (or at least one architect author), English language, published after 2000, investigate built environment and design features that influence stair use in the building. Data Extraction The data extraction process included; Author (year), country, study design, type of buildings, the population of the study, duration of the study, measured variables (dependent and independent), measurement tool, analysis and outcomes. Data Synthesis Extracted data were synthesized in a tabular format and analytical figures with narratives summary. Result Nine features of the built environment that affect stair use determined from the literature; safety, motivations, appeal and comfort, and legibility were the most common features in the studies, followed by connectivity, building codes, and elevator programming. The good quality of mentioned features positively affects stair use level and vice versa. However, the review also reports a shortage of architects in both practice and research concerning active stair design. Conclusion Stair use is of great importance in increasing physical activity and improving occupational health in the workplace. Architects and designers should pay special attention to the design of staircases and encourage their everyday use by considering the largest number of features that encourage stair use.

Introduction. For the first time, the article presents a detailed biography of the governor of Tsaritsyn, Ivan Stepanovich Ostrenev. Previously published information about him was fragmentary. Nothing was known about his practical activities during the Time of Troubles. Methods and materials. Based on an analysis of a wide range of published documentary sources, the author explores the main stages of the life of this serviceman in his homeland from Nizhny Novgorod. The research is based on the voivods' formal responses, rank records, scribal descriptions, food and expense books of various orders. In the study of the biography of I.S. Ostrenev used the method of historical and psychological observations and a synchronous research method focused on determining the relationship between various phenomenons and events. Analysis. The article provides an analysis of all, very scanty, information about this voivode contained in the works of domestic researchers, including a local historian of Tsaritsyn. One of the reasons of the poor coverage of the biography of I.S. Ostrenev, according to the author, is the different spelling of his surname in the sources. Many previously unknown facts of his biography have been restored. Results. It was found that he was originally a Kurmish dweller, in the Time of Troubles he became a quarter of the Nizhny Novgorod Cheta and a streletsky head in Nizhny Novgorod. Then he was seen in the campaign to Astrakhan against the ataman Zarutsky as part of the army of Prince I.N. Odoevsky. The pinnacle of I.S. Ostrenev was appointed him as a governor in Tsaritsyn.

A significant role in the disclosure and investigation of crimes related to illegal hospitalisation in a medical organisation providing psychiatric care in an inpatient setting belongs to scientifically based methods of conducting forensic research, among which recommendations on the appointment and production of a forensic psychiatric examination are of key importance. The possibilities of this examination make it possible to determine whether the victim has a psychiatric disorder, to confirm or refute the grounds for hospitalising a person in a psychiatric hospital, to indicate the legality or unreasonableness of the actions of a psychiatrist or a commission of such physicians, being specific to the category of crimes under consideration. From the standpoint of the laws of dialectics, general scientific and other methods, a study of specialised medical legislation and law enforcement practice in the area under consideration was carried out, making it possible to identify and characterise the list of objects required by the investigator and provided for the production of the examination in question. The author argued the grounds for involuntary hospitalisation in a medical organisation providing psychiatric care in an inpatient setting, which led to the proposed recommendations for drawing up a resolution on the appointment of an appropriate examination. The study of empirical data revealed the essence of a forensic psychiatric examination of the crimes in question – establishing the fact of a severe mental disorder in the victim, allowing the author to argue the incompleteness of the "traditional" questions posed to forensic psychiatric experts, to substantiate their (questions) specifics on encroachments related to illegal hospitalisation victim.

This study investigates the impact of COVID-19 induced global panic on crude oil and natural gas volatility. The author uses the Structural Vector Auto Regression (SVAR) to examine the magnitude of shocks in global oil and gas prices caused by COVID-19 induced panic between 3rd January 2020 and 30th June 2021. The results show that shocks in oil and gas prices were negative and more severe in the first five (5) months of 2020 when the pandemic was spreading across the globe forcing countries' prices into lockdowns. The negative shocks gradually diminished in the following periods as the prices recovered courtesy of global economic recovery and vaccine rollouts. Furthermore, the panic was more pronounced in causing oil prices shocks as gas prices were already suffering amid mild temperatures during the 2020 winter season. The author stresses the need for swift actions during the early days of the crisis to adjust oil and gas supply to match demand shrinkage so as to stabilize their prices given their enormity to the global economy. The Russia-Saudi Arabia delays in agreeing on oil supply restrictions may have amplified the magnitude of negative shocks in oil prices. Existing studies have examined the country-level impacts of COVID-19 on energy prices focusing mainly on oil. However, oil and gas are among the most traded commodities in the world thus the stability of their prices is of global concern. This study examines this phenomenon on a global scale by utilizing the novel global coronavirus panic index.

Abstract
The objective with this study is to shed light upon how international exchanges on the comic art market contribute to democratization processes and renegotiation of hegemonies in the literary field worldwide. The focus is on how the variation in imported comics from a central language, in this case French, to the peripheral space of Sweden, can be observed during the time-period 1900–2020, as well as on which diversity importation of comics has been allowed over time. Theoretically anchored in sociological perspectives in literary studies highly influenced by Casanova's ([1999]2004) seminal work, this contribution challenges established approaches in the field that depart from central cultural spaces in the world. Instead, this analysis highlights how the periphery gains agency on the international market and challenges relations of domination through translation practices. One hypothesis put forward consists of the idea that Francophone author-illustrators from the global South would be identifiable in the data in 1990's, as is the case in the literary field. However, in the comics field this change emerges later, and does not appear distinctively until 2005. The change is paired with a promotion of Francophone female author-illustrators in Swedish translations, equally from the global South and the global North. The results also highlight that Sweden positions the Francophone space as hyper-central within the comics field. The specific practices adopted in the importation point to how a periphery creates agency to define a medium and a genre locally and play a role in international cultural exchanges.

The Post-War Diaspora: Some Remarks on the Depiction of Serbian and Croatian Emigrants in Recent LiteratureThe essay aims to show how modern literature of both Serbia and Croatia depicts the early South Slavic emigration of the post-World War II period. Describing historical conditions before and during WWII, the author depicts Serbian and Croatian emigration groups which differ one from the other in their mental backgrounds. But the books analysed in the essay show that, when abroad, both Serbs and Croats present identical attitudes and are involved in the same rituals, exclusion and stigmatisa­tion. The analysis is based on two texts: one written by Vladimir Tasić, a Serb emigrant to Canada, the other by Daša Drndić, a Croatian woman of many years' emigrant experience. In their books the two authors describe members of both nations who form strongly consolidated groups abroad and exhibit nationalistic viewpoints. Both Tasić and Drndić are modern literary writers, open to novelty in art. Furthermore, they openly reject the nationally oriented state models which originated after the collapse of Yugoslavia. They also criticise representatives of the post-war emigration. The author of the essay thus concludes that, after years of silence about the post-war diaspora, the contempo­rary emigrant communities emerge in two contrasting ways in Serbian and Croatian literature and in scholarly discourse. One is represented by politically and aesthetically conservative artists and schol­ars, and has a clearly apologetic character. The other, represented by Drndić and Tasić, expresses a critical approach.

Principles of Ethnopolitical and Territorial-Political Organization of Yugoslavia: Genesis, Evolution and Contemporary ConsequencesThe article is devoted to the principles of ethnopolitical and territorial-political organization of the Yugoslavian state. The study presents the genesis and evolution of this question in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenians (1918–1941) and in the Socialist Federation of Yugoslavia (1945–1991). In doing so it considers one of the most important and controversial problems in Yugoslavian ethnopolitics – the relations between its ethnopolitical and territorial-political subsystems. The author emphasizes dynamic changes and a lack of consistency in Yugoslav ethnopolitics. One issue in focus is the question of territorial-political reorganization of the federation at the beginning of the 1990s. The groups engaged in the struggle over the division of Yugoslavia applied various principles of delimitation of contentious areas. Susan Woodward identifies four main principles which the antagonist groups used as arguments for their "property right" over a given territory – historical, democratic, principle of the inviolability of borders and realistic principle. After the civil war during the 1990s, the Yugoslavian federation was reorganized into sovereign states by recognizing the existing internal administrative borders between the Yugoslav republics as international ones. The author also discusses contemporary problems of the ethnopolitical and territorial-political organization of post-Yugoslav countries and close relations between state-building and nation-building processes. Major current problems in the field of ethnopolitics are considered as a direct consequence of the influence of those accumulated during the seventy-year period of existence of a common state.

The presented manuscript deals with three Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania) that are part of the Three Seas Initiative in the context of cooperation with the United Arab Emirates. The research's goal is analysis the larger dimension of Three Seas Initiative and its creative role and importance in the international arena, including the Middle East. In this sense, this paper asks a research question of whether the relations between Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and the United Arab Emirates have the potential for deeper and broader creative dynamics of their cooperation. The presented article is the first research work of this type. Thus, it fills a gap in the literature and analyses concerning relations between the Baltic states and the United Arab Emirates. This work is primarily base on empirical research conducted for ten years. In addition, the author used his own creative experience, including as an Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (2011–2015) or Senior advisor at Expo 2020 (2016–2018), responsible for strategies and creative development of relations the United Arab Emirates with all the Three Seas Initiative countries, including Baltic states. As a result of the research, the author argues that Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, as a part of the Three Seas Initiative, should make this concept more creative in its external dimension, with the United Arab Emirates. Expo 2020 (1 October, 2021–31 March, 2022) provides an opportunity for creative diplomacy. This event is an occasion to demonstrate joint projects, also in global aspects.

This work was partially supported by the research project MTM2016-78807-C2-1-P funded by MINECO and ERDF. ; We introduce a new family of horizon-penetrating coordinate systems for the Schwarzschild black hole geometry that feature time coordinates, which are specific Cauchy temporal functions, i.e., the level sets of these time coordinates are smooth, asymptotically flat, spacelike Cauchy hypersurfaces. Coordinate systems of this kind are well suited for the study of the temporal evolution of matter and radiation fields in the joined exterior and interior regions of the Schwarzschild black hole geometry, whereas the associated foliations can be employed as initial data sets for the globally hyperbolic development under the Einstein flow. For their construction, we formulate an explicit method that utilizes the geometry of—and structures inherent in—the Penrose diagram of the Schwarzschild black hole geometry, thus relying on the corresponding metrical product structure. As an example, we consider an integrated algebraic sigmoid function as the basis for the determination of such a coordinate system. Finally,we generalize our results to the Reissner–Nordström black hole geometry up to the Cauchy horizon. The geometric construction procedure presented here can be adapted to yield similar coordinate systems for various other spacetimes with the same metrical product structure. ; Spanish Government MTM2016-78807-C2-1-P ; European Commission
