In this paper we examine how the presence of international tax evasion affects the choice of a foreign tax credit by a capital exporting region. Since the credit raises the opportunity cost of concealing foreign source income, it can be employed to discourage evasion activity. International tax evasion can thus help to rationalize the adoption of a tax credit in excess of a deduction‐equivalent rate. Ce mémoire examine comment la présence d'évasion fiscale pour le capital international affecte le choix du crédit d'impôt pour le fardeau fiscal à l'étranger par une région qui exporte du capital. Puisque le crédit d'impôt accroît le coût d'opportunité du camouflage de la source étrangère de revenus, c'est une technique qui peut être employée pour décourager l'évasion fiscale. Voilà qui peut expliquer qu'on adopte un crédit d'impôt qui est plus généreux que ce qui constituerait la déduction dans un système où le fardeau fiscal à l'étranger est simplement déduit du revenu imposable.

L'objectif de cet article est de montrer comment les mobilités internationales façonnent les aspirations professionnelles et les choix d'orientation dans l'enseignement supérieur. Trente-huit anciens bénéficiaires d'une bourse de voyage Zellidja ont été interrogés par entretien semi-directif. La nature et les usages des mobilités internationales varient suivant les propriétés sociales et culturelles des individus. C'est une étape du processus d'émancipation ou la légitimation d'un projet professionnel dans les milieux populaires. Dans les milieux plus favorisés, ces mobilités forment à un temps long d'exploration de soi ou favorisent l'accumulation de compétences exploitables professionnellement.

In Foundations of Modern International Thought, David Armitage provides a genealogy of the multiple foundations of international political thought. But he also enables political theorists to reflect on the nature of the pluralisation of our concepts: that is, the way various components come together (or apart) in particular circumstances to form a concept that either becomes dominant or is rendered to the margins. Armitage claims that concepts can 'never entirely escape their origins'. Auch wenn der russische Staatschef Wladimir Putin bei Gesprächen mit der Ukraine keine Zustimmung für den Sieben-Punkte-Plan erhielt, war dies ein Zeichen der Verständigung in der andauernden Krim-Krise von 2014. Trotz der Zusammenkunft stockt das ukrainische Verteidigungsministerium ihr Budget weiter auf. Da der Staat jedoch in Folge der geopolitischen Unruhen in eine Rezession gelangte und bankrott ist, sollen nun weitere Etaterhöhungen durch den Internationalen Währungsfonds getragen werden. Die bisherigen Zahlungen von 17 Milliarden Dollar seien wegen des anhaltenden Krieges bis nächstes Jahr nicht ausreichend. Durch die Einhaltung der bisher gestellten Auflagen des IWF1, sind weitere finanzielle Unterstützungen für Ukraine bis zu zwei Milliarden Dollar möglich. Bereits in der Mexiko- und Asienkrise kurz vor der Jahrtausendwende fungierte jene internationale Organisation als Kreditgeber. Die Konsequenzen der wirtschaftlichen Beihilfe in Verbindung mit den gestellten Auflagen für die einzelnen Staaten, wurden in der Fachschaft der Wissenschaftler konträr aufgenommen und bilden das Kernthema der vorliegenden Arbeit.

The African Union has become increasingly hostile towards the International Criminal Court, particularly in the wake of the ICC arrest warrant for Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, although the public hostility masks deeper divisions among African countries. Indeed, evidence of arguments among African states and between Africa and Western countries over the proper functioning and scope of the ICC is indicative of a number of paradoxes and conflicts which have emerged as Africa reorients its identities and interests to embrace international human rights norms while also asserting itself on the global stage.

This includes private agreements and state laws such as integrity pacts and transparency through more information and information rights for citizens.

The current emphasis on the greening of the world marks a beginning of a new concern for our relationship with our planet. This book states that we are entering into a new era - a transitional time in history in which the values of the industrial revolution are being replaced by a post-industrial consciousness.
