This article offers an overview of neighbourhood-based BIDs (NBIDs) in Sweden. Swedish NBIDs tend to appear in stigmatized residential areas engaging with pressing sets of urban issues that have been longstanding concern of social policy. Their overarching goal is raising property values in neighborhoods on the edge between urban decline and (re)development potential. Emerging in a neoliberalizing institutional context, NBIDs present themselves as correctives to public-policy failures by promoting property-oriented solutions. The adaptation of the BID model in the Swedish 'post-welfare' landscape, however, exhibits, and arguably exacerbates, the shortcomings found in BID elsewhere. Their opaque institutional structure and lack of accountability contribute to curbing democratic influence over local development, thus reinforcing spatial inequalities. We argue that the growing political advocacy for the institutionalization of the BID model in Sweden presents a new milestone in the neoliberalization of urban governance, as private actors are promoted to legitimate co-creators of urban policy.

This handbook provides an up-to-date overview of the topic of practical wisdom or phronesis. It enables the reader to locate common ground in conceptions of practical wisdom and to understand the way that different schools of thought have developed and then applied their particular perspectives on the topic. Part 1 deals with the development of key traditions of practical wisdom, particularly in Aristotelian virtue ethics, but also extending to other traditions such as Confucianism and Islam. Part 2 deals with the application of the concept in business and management studies. It provides an overview of key areas of empirical research, and looks at the positioning of practical wisdom within a range of business and management contexts. These include management development and education, leadership, knowledge management, decision making, entrepreneurship, and artificial intelligence. Part 3 provides an opportunity to explore interdisciplinary links, contemporary issues and future directions of study. This includes perspectives from social science, psychology, education and other disciplines. It provides some scope for new conceptual development, for instance by encouraging intersectional discussion with other traditions, and includes critical voices.

В статті розглядається необхідність та важливість оцінки рівня корпоративної соціальної відповідальності, оскільки методики оцінки КСВ є важливим інструментом прийняття управлінських рішень. При оцінці КСВ виокремлюють три підходи: мінімалістичний, ключовий та комплексний. Розглядаються перспективи їх застосування. Вибір конкретного методики оцінки визначається найбільшою мірою рівнем розвитку КСВ. Існує тісний взаємозв'язок між стадією життєвого циклу і рівнем розвитку корпоративної соціальної відповідальності компанії. В статті увага приділяється різноманіттю методик оцінки корпоративної соціальної відповідальності. Розглядаються методики розрахунку фондових соціальних індексів, які забезпечать прийняття рішень в рамках соціально відповідального інвестування. Прикладами фондових індексів в області корпоративної соціальної відповідальності та сталого розвитку є: Dow Jones Sustainability Index, NASDAQ Social Index, FTSE 4 Good, CLD Social Indeх тощо. Окремо розглядається методика вимірювання індексу соціальних інвестицій, SROI (social return on investment). Розглядаються методика вимірювання стратегічних вигод компанії від заходів в області КСВ, методика оцінки ефективності корпоративної соціальної політики у форматі "інформаційної карти", та нормативно-індикативний підхід до методики оцінки корпоративної соціальної відповідальності. Аналіз методик оцінювання рівня корпоративної соціальної відповідальності показав їх різноманіття та виявив ряд недоліків. Кожний з них не дає змоги повноцінно проаналізувати сукупність складових КСВ, розкрити її стан. В Україні існує певна потреба в розробці на законодавчий основі якщо не універсальної методики оцінки КСВ, то хоча б методики, яка буде описана певними нормативними рамками. Це дозволить всім зацікавленим сторонам бізнес процесу отримати таку необхідну інформацію при ухваленні свої рішень. ; The need and importance of assessing the level of corporate social responsibility is discussed in the article, since CSR assessment methods are an important tool for making managerial decisions. Three approaches: minimalist, key and comprehensive highlight when evaluating CSR. The prospects of their application are considered. The choice of a specific evaluation methodology is determined, to the greatest extent, by the level of development of CSR. A close relationship exists between the stage of the life cycle and the level of development of corporate social responsibility of the company. Attention is paid to the variety of methods for assessing corporate social responsibility in the article. Methods of calculating stock social indicates that will ensure decision-making within the framework of socially responsible investment have been considered by the authors. Dow Jones Sustainability Index, NASDAQ Social Index, FTSE 4 Good, CLD Social Indeх and other are the examples of stock indices in the field of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. Method of measuring the index of social investment SROI (social return on investment) viewed separately. The methodology of measuring the company's strategic benefits from CSR activities, the methodology for assessing the effectiveness of corporate social policy in the format of an "information card", and a normative-indicative approach to the methodology for assessing corporate social responsibility are considered. Analysis of methods for assessing the level of corporate social responsibility showed their diversity and identified a number of shortcomings. Each of them does not allow to fully analyze the aggregate of CSR components and reveal its state. A certain need for development on a legislative basis, at least the methodology that will be described by a certain regulatory framework exists in Ukraine This will allow all interested parties in the business process to obtain the necessary information when making their decisions.

The purpose of the paper is to study the theoretical and applied principles of the state and prospects of the development of social investment in the context of the formation of social protection of the population in Ukraine. The article deals with the theoretical and applied aspects of social protection of the population in Ukraine, its specificity and peculiarities of formation are determined. The evolution of the concept of "social protection" has been investigated, domestic and foreign definitions of this scientific category have been analyzed, their own vision from the position of social investment has been formed. The importance of social investment in the context of effective provision of social protection of the population is substantiated. The essence and components of social investments are revealed. The main problems of social protection of the population are singled out, priority directions of its development are formed on the national and regional levels. Social protection of the population should take place within the framework of the state strategy of poverty reduction, which should violate the following priority directions of its development: the regulation of the legislative and regulatory framework, and the settlement of controversial provisions and the concentration of the whole array of regulatory provisions in one Social Code; improvement of the social assistance system, adherence to the principle of targeting social benefits with a gradual waiver of general privileges and subsidies; creation of conditions for self-defense of citizens, that is, opportunities for employment with a decent wage reality; carry out an effective redistribution of funds from large businesses in favor of ordinary employees; provision of parity financing of the social protection program, creation of a long-term pension system, compulsory medical insurance, the role of local budgets and self-government bodies in social security, promotion of charitable programs, social-ethical marketing actions, and social responsibility of business. ; У статті розглянуто теоретичні та прикладні аспекти соціального захисту населення в Україні, визначено його специфіку та особливості формування. Досліджено еволюцію становлення поняття «соціальний захист», проаналізовано вітчизняні та зарубіжні визначення даної наукової категорії, сформовано власне бачення з позиції соціального інвестування. Обґрунтовано значимість соціального інвестування в контексті ефективного забезпечення соціального захисту населення. Розкрито сутність та складові соціальних інвестицій. Виокремлено основні проблеми соціального захисту населення, сформовано пріоритетні напрями його розвитку на загальнодержавному та регіональному рівні.

Nowadays, organizations strive for business process optimization to survive the current competitive business environment. The widespread use of social media and Web 2.0 applications has dramatically changed the structure of the business process. Such evolution caused an increase in the flow of data and information, which led to knowledge‐intensive business processes. Thus, modeling the knowledge‐intensive processes became essential to make use of the flow of knowledge from social media and to fulfill their demanding requirements. Therefore, knowledge and social dimensions should be integrated into the traditional business process life cycle. This integration yields a large flow of customer knowledge that needs to be efficiently used and managed. Moreover, the use of ontologies for knowledge representation opens up a supplementary view for providing machine‐accessible terminology to processes. Ontologies make a significant contribution to the categorization and organization of the incorporated and unstructured information. This paper proposes a framework that integrates the social business processes with a knowledge base in the form of an ontology to manage and enhance the overall customer experience. The proposed framework aims to enable organizations to improve knowledge support for their customer‐driven business processes. In addition, the extracted knowledge from social media will support organizations in managing the customer knowledge and building up the relationships with customers. The proposed social ontology will ease the querying of existing customer knowledge and inferring new knowledge that enhances optimizing the business process, and customer experience.
