The article analyzes the activity of the Ukrainian Pedagogical Society – "Native School" during 1881– 1939, aimed at creating a network of Ukrainian-language elementary schools, classical and real high schools, teacher seminaries and other vocational schools. The socio-political factors that influenced the results of his work in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, during the First World War and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic, as part of the Polish state in the 1920's and 30's of the 20th century, were found. Already at the end of the nineteenth century the society actively participated in the organization of Ukrainian primary school. As a result, he created an elementary schools in Lviv, folk schools in Gorodetsky and Zhovkva suburbs of Lviv, a women's seminary in Kolomyia. As for the smaller towns and villages of Galicia, the Ukrainian Pedagogical Society organized and maintained 13 elementary schools here. The first of these was a public school in Zarvanytsia in Ternopil region in 1906. Since 1908, the first Ukrainian private schools of the Ukrainian Pedagogical Society in Kopychyntsi, Yavorov, and one year later – in Rohatyn, Przemysl, Horodenka, Busk, Zbarazh, and later in the Dolyna, Chortkiv and Gorodok, have been opened. They were organized by the efforts of the so-called "gymnasium committees" (consisted of the inhabitants of the above-mentioned cities) and local branches of the Ukrainian Pedagogical Society. The central leadership of the society provided assistance in organizing the educational process in these educational institutions, and the "gymnasium committees" were engaged in financing them. During the First World War, the Russian authorities closed all private schools and in fact banned the activities of the Ukrainian Pedagogical Society. To preserve a specially built premises for their schools on Moknatsky Street (Drahomanov today), they placed a so-called "children's bay" (pre-school institution), where the educational process was conducted in Ukrainian. The Ukrainian pedagogical society and Ukrainian teachers with great sympathy and understanding belonged to the newly formed Western Ukrainian People's Republic. While supporting the activities of the ZUNR public authorities on elementary schooling, the association was involved in organizing a congress of delegates of Ukrainian folk teaching in Stanislav, which took place during February 23, 1919. 117 teachers came from it, representing 31 counties. Since the Polish occupation of Galicia in 1919, the situation of Ukrainian education was very complicated, on June 3, 1920, at a joint meeting of representatives of all Ukrainian economic and cultural public organizations, political parties, the Ukrainian Pedagogical Society recognized the "national authority of Ukrainian schooling". In the resolution of the inter-party congress, it was noted that the pedagogical society was entrusted with the important task of preserving the Ukrainian school and taking care of the national consciousness of the teachers. During the entire period of activity (1881–1939) Ukrainian pedagogical society "Native school" – the most massive Ukrainian pedagogical organization. Despite the complex conditions of the society interwar period, the number of its members has steady increased. In 1914, the pedagogical organization owned 4,8 thousand people, 1930 – 31, 6 thousand, 1939 – 103 thousand. Until the beginning of the First World War, the society created 18 national schools and 10 secondary schools, then in 1938 – 33 national schools, 12 high schools, 11 high schools and 15 specialized schools of the Ukrainian pedagogical organization worked. During 1881–1939 the society worked in various socio-political conditions. If, in the prewar period, under more or less democratic Austrian legislation, he managed to organize a teacher societies and organize the efforts of the Ukrainian public to create their own educational institutions, then during the First World War and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic, inactive circumstances could not work in full force. Instead, "Native school" managed to consolidate national-conscious Ukrainians in defense of the Ukrainian school in the 20's and 30's of the 20th century, which the Polish authorities gradually sought to eliminate in Galicia. The necessity of creation of the Ukrainian Association of Sports Philosophers (UASP) according to the American and European models, which would develop a special humanitarian sports science of science, has been substantiated. UASP envisages integration of the efforts of multi-profile specialists in revealing the mechanisms of sport influence as the sociocultural phenomenon upon general civilized space. Today, the problem of the philosophical and worldview settings, axiological imperatives and anthropological modeling in determining the humanistic principles of sports activities, and in some cases – dehumanitarian, aggressively ugly its manifestations is at its very worst. It is emphasized that the humanitaristics, philosophical and anthropological, socio-philosophical, axiological, political and legal, criminological sports measurements are the subject of much research, including thesis research requiring appropriate coordination of actions. This is the subject of the UASP's guardianship.
This paper consider the process of creating, development and operations of the Association of Political Convicts and Exiles (APCE) on the basis of studying the works of Soviet and modern scientists. The author concludes, that the period of the existence and activities of the Association hasn't been uniform and it's logical to divide it into two periods. The first stage lasted from 1921 to 1928 institutional development, the creation of a network of regional branches, active search for potential members - people affected by the "hands of tsarism". Also, actively developed research and educational activities, that embodied in monthly magazine "Katorgaissylka" comes out in print since 1921. Magazine published memoirs of political convicts and people, who dwells in exile, articles about the revolutionary movement, obituaries, etc. Furthermore, under the loyal attitude of All-Union Communist Party (bolsheviks) (AUCP(b)) to the Association, it has successfully performed the functions of protection and material support of its members and provide ongoing legal assistance to convicts and their families. Strengthening of control of AUCP(b) over the Association led to significant changes in their structure and activity. From this moment begins the second stage activity of the Association's of Political Convicts and Exiles. It lasted from 1929 to 1935 and is characterized by deep gap between the actual actions and declared objectives of the Association and general political purges under the slogan of "class struggle with the Soviet hostile elements that appeared in the ranks of the Association". AUCP(b) is trying to find issues in work of governing units of the APCE. At the same time the process of introduction of members of AUCP(b) into the ranks of the Association is begins. Sovietization trend most severely manifested in the ideology of the Association. Political propaganda of the Party gradually replaced people's freedom orientation. Thus, by the end of 1920 the Association practically lost all independence. Take place intense activity decrease of the Association's members, and they are lose interest in the work. In such complex sociopolitical conditions the Association couldn't long exist. Therefore, in 1935, on Stalin's initiative, the Association was liquidated. It's leaders were brutally repressed, and the results and achievements of the Association of Political Convicts and Exiles have been forgotten for many years. Because of the Ukrainian socialists-federalists' participation in the creation of the political and social program the reliability of Russian revolutionary G. Lopatin's appraisal of the political views of the Ukrainian Society «Vil'na Spilka» leaders V. Malyovany and I. Prysetsky is determined. The thesis that the revised final draft program of the Ukrainian socialists-federalists political party was jointly created by V. Malyovany and I. Prysetsky is established. The project is written under the influence of notable European social-democratic ideas, which both authors stuck. But apparently V. Malyovany gave it Ukrainian orientation. Elaboration of the Ukrainian society «Vil'na Spilka» – «Free Union» program began in summer 1883 in Geneva. Political position of V. Malyovany, M. Dragomanov and the member of the «Narodna Volia» V. Sukhomlyn during joint work on the first version of the «Vil'na Spilka»'s political and social program is viewed. The author makes out G. Lopatin's assumption that the editor of «Vol'noe Slovo» A. Mal'shynsky, who maintained contacts with the police, participated in the «Vil'na Spilka» organizers arrest. It is concluded that «V. Malyovanyi's foundation» as the organizational centre of the future Ukrainian party of Socialists-Federalists had as its object power concentration for the nearest achievement of political freedom and the establishment of constitutional government in Russia. It was done for carrying out the socialist work among Ukrainian people in more favorable democratic conditions. Thus the members of the society closely collaborated with all elements of the opposition, including the members of the «Narodna Volia». It is also explains that in draft program of Ukrainian Socialists-Federalists and in I. Prysetsky's hand-written draft speech there wasn't any mention of individual terror as a method of controlling. Critique of terrorist methods in «Ivan Prysets'kyi's testimonies» should be considered in the light of the creation of this document. Ukrainian socialists-federalists linked the prospects of revolutionary movement in the Russian Empire to integration on federal principles with such Great Russia party in case its appearance. Therefore V. Malyovanyi, unlike M. Dragomanov, aimed to avoid unnecessary waste of his attention on the Ukrainian territory under Austrian Empire and West Slavic politics in general. G. Lopatin's point of view on «V. Malyovanyi's foundation» participants as «terrorists» and at the same time «national-federalists» confirms the dualistic nature of the «Vil'na Spilka» leaders' political position. A new perspective phenomenon in the community movement among politically indifferent cultural figures dominated in those times was the attempt of socialists-federalists to create the Ukrainian political institution.

The attempt to analyze and show the important role of Lviv printers and to describe their role in the development of Galician society has been made in the article. This attempt has been made on the basis of documents, the principle of historicism, scientific and objective approach. The importance and problematic of the comprehensive study of the oldest history of the creation, formation and development of Lviv printers' professional co-operation of mutual assistance has been highlighted, and the history and activities of this organization in stages have been described. In general, trade unions emerged as an independent united self-defense organizations and they were formed in the form of workers' associations and mutual assistance funds. During the first half of the nineteenth century the crystallization of the activities of trade unions happened under the influence of various measures, hold by the administrations, the police and the authorities. This contributed to the further unification of labor and the creation of all-city union of printers in Lviv. It is quite logical that the basis of their actions was their desire to achieve and get the working solidarity, mutual support and assistance. The activities of the trade union were regulated by the statutes. First of all, the purpose of the establishment and operation of the organization was socio-economic, cultural and educational ones. Those purposes were approved by the relevant state authorities and, thus, prevented trade unions from participating in political life. The short period of the 1860-1880s can be considered to be a separate stage in the process of the formation of the mass trade union movement in Galicia. Together with the trade unions of printers, settlers, brokers, masons, carpenters, builders, tanneries, metal workers, doctors, pharmacists, tradesmen, postmen, civil servants, lawyers and many others united and became active partners of the region. The problem, which has been investigated in the article, has a valuable scientific significance as it allows to solve one of the most important issues: to get the historical understanding of activities of Lviv trade union organizations, which have not been thoroughly studied yet.
; This article investigates the causes and meaning of reorganization privileged Cossack cavalry regiments 2 nd stage service in the summer of 1907 as an example of the II Taman Cavalry Regiment of the Kuban Cossack troops. As a result of the reorganization had reduced the number of cavalry squadrons (were 6 – became 4), and the Cossacks older (29-31 years) immediately went home. These actions have allowed to reduce the number of holidays and stabilize the regiment. At the same time, failed to ensure the projected number of Cossacks in military units. Consequently, the reorganization of the structure of privileged cavalry regiments 2 nd stage service in 1907 decided to only partially the existing problems.
