; In the article on the basis of the study of scientific developments the importance of life insurance both to meet the social needs of policyholders and for the economic development of the country is substantiated. The importance of cumulative life insurance in connection with the gradual deterioration of the demographic situation, a decrease in the working population and an increase in the number of pensioners is substantiated.
