Quantitative vision of the French religious migration (1901-1914) to Belgium (more than 13,000 people) and its geographical distribution. The reactions of the conservative and catholic government, of the socialist and liberal opposition, of the Belgian bishops and the Holy See are pointed out. There is also a bibliographical study. Documentation from the «Archivio Segreto Vaticano» is used to reveal the attitude of the Nunciature in Brussels and the Secretariat of State of the Holy See. ; Visión cuantitativa de la migración religiosa francesa (1901-1914) a Bélgica (más de 13.000) y su distribución geográfica. Se señalan las reacciones del gobierno conservador y católico, de la oposición socialista y liberal, del episcopado belga y de la Santa Sede. Se hace un balance bibliográfico. Se maneja documentación del Archivio Segreto Vaticano, para ilustrar la actitud de la nunciatura en Bruselas y de la Secretaría de Estado de la Santa Sede.

En este artículo se analiza el circuito epistolar que vinculó a la primera nunciatura en Iberoamérica —establecida en 1830 en Río de Janeiro— con los defensores de la autoridad papal en Argentina. Se trata de un estudio que busca comprender hasta qué punto la lógica patronal del gobierno eclesiástico cambió tras la Independencia y de qué forma la figura papal se hizo presente en las iglesias rioplatenses mediada por la actividad de eclesiásticos ultramontanos locales. Con este objetivo, se utiliza como fuente principal la correspondencia existente en el Archivo de la Nunciatura de Río de Janeiro, conservado en el Archivio Segreto Vaticano (Italia). A partir de esa información es posible reconstruir los canales de circulación de noticias e ideas entre los grupos ultramontanos ; This article analyzes the epistolary circuit that linked the first nunciature of Spanish America—set up in 1830 in Rio de Janeiro—with the defenders of the Pope's authority in Argentina. The study seeks to understand up to what point the ecclesiastical government's patronage logic changed after the Independence, how the Pope was present in the churches of Rio de la Plata, and how this presence was mediated by the activities of local Ultramontane ecclesiastics. To achieve this goal, the author uses the collected letters found in the Archive of the Nunciature of Rio de Janeiro, conserved in the Archivio Segreto Vaticano (Italy). Using this information it is possible to reconstruct the channels through which news and ideas circulated between ultramontane groups ; Neste artigo, analisa-se o circuito epistolar que vinculou a primeira nunciatura na Ibero-américa —estabelecida em 1830 no Rio de Janeiro— com os defensores da autoridade papal na Argentina. Trata-se de um estudo que busca compreender até que ponto a lógica patronal do governo eclesiástico mudou após a Independência e de que forma a figura papal se fez presente nas igrejas rio-platenses, mediada pela atividade de eclesiásticos ultramontanos locais. Com esse objetivo, utiliza-se como fonte principal a correspondência existente no Arquivo da Nunciatura do Rio de Janeiro, conservado no Archivio Segreto Vaticano (Itália).
