Speech given by Gen. Alvaro Obregón at the dinner in his honor hosted by the Chamber of Commerce of the city of San Francisco, CA, USA and the Down Town Association of the same city, with the assistance of Mr. James Rolph Jr., Mayor of the City. The meal took place on Tuesday, September 29th, 1925. In the speech, Gen. Obregón thanks them for their hospitality and then talks about business. He emphasizes the importance that the government of Mexico places on communications, the construction of roads and the opening of ports. He stresses the need for cooperation between the nations in order to achieve harmony in transportation systems. / Discurso pronunciado por el Gral.
