International audience ; La incursión de Marta Sanz en la novela negra, verdadera coartada literaria, le permite utilizar los recursos tradicionales del género –la preminencia de un código hermenéutico, el desciframiento de indicios y la resolución de un enigma–, para mejor alejarse de él, cobrando las alteraciones formales un sentido histórico e ideológico. Al corromper la potencia desveladora inherente a la novela negra, ésta se hace "señal del objeto escondido" y la novela policiaca, anclada desde siempre en la sociedad y sus evoluciones, abandona su inteligibilidad demostrativa para convertirse en la obra de Marta Sanz en un utensilio de verbalización de lo implícito y un revelador de las ideologías invisibles. Pero la exploración de los límites del género desemboca asimismo en la creación de una distancia paradigmática –entre un género hipercodificado y la promoción de unos nuevos códigos– capaz de metaforizar la distancia entre la ideología invisible que estampa su sello en las sociedades capitalistas y un intento de salida del sistema normativo. La propuesta de nuevos modelos éticos se encarnaría en el personaje de Arturo Zarco –el detective portador de los genes de la mutación– y, más ampliamente, en los personajes evolucionan a lo largo de las dos novelas buscando su verdadera identidad. Black, black, black y Un buen detective no se casa jamás reflejarían la situación de una España posmoderna presa del desencanto político, económico y cultural, y se diferenciarían de las novelas negras tradicionales mediante los cuestionamientos formales que emprenden: si toda forma es ideológica y determinada por un discurso dominante, la transformación genérica apuntaría tanto a revelar las ideologías hegemónicas como a reflejar las mutaciones de la sociedad y la búsqueda de unos nuevos valores. ; L'incursion de Marta Sanz dans le roman policier, véritable alibi littéraire, lui permet d'utiliser les ressorts traditionnels du genre – la prééminence d'un code herméneutique, le décryptage des indices et la résolution d'une énigme –, pour mieux s'en détourner, les altérations formelles prenant un sens historique et idéologique. En altérant la puissance de dévoilement inhérente au polar, celle-ci se fait signe de l'objet caché, et le récit policier, de tout temps ancré dans la société et ses évolutions, abandonne sa clarté démonstrative pour devenir chez Marta Sanz un outil de verbalisation de l'implicite et un révélateur des idéologies invisibles. Mais l'exploration des limites du genre donne également lieu à la création d'un écart modélisant – entre un genre hypercodifié et la promotion de nouveaux codes –, à une structure double qui métaphoriserait la tension entre l'idéologie invisible apposant son sceau sur les sociétés capitalistes et une tentative de sortie du système normatif. La proposition de nouveaux modèles éthiques s'incarnerait alors dans le personnage d'Arturo Zarco – le détective porteur du gène de la mutation – et, plus généralement, dans les personnages en évolution dans les deux romans, à la recherche de leur véritable identité. Black, black, black et Un buen detective no se casa jamás reflèteraient la situation d'une Espagne postmoderne en proie au désenchantement politique, économique et culturel, et ils se différencieraient des romans noirs traditionnels par les questionnements formels qu'ils engagent : toute forme étant idéologique et déterminée par un discours dominant, la transformation générique tendrait tout autant à révéler l'idéologie hégémonique du capitalisme qu'à refléter les mutations sociétales et la quête de nouvelles valeurs.

Penser l'action directe des Black Blocs

Les Black Blocs ont fait une entrée spectaculaire dans le mouvement altermondialiste lors de la « Bataille de Seattle » du 30 novembre 1999 en fracassant les vitrines de Mc Donald's, Nike, Gap et de succursales de banques. L'analyse proposée, qui s'inspire d'entretiens avec des militants, d'analyses de leur discours et d'observations de manifestations, a pour objectif d'identifier l'origine et la diffusion de la tactique du Black Bloc et de comprendre les raisons politiques qui poussent des militants à y avoir recours. Trois questions d'ordre politique seront soulevées : (1) qui doit décider des modalités d'actions au sein d'un groupe militant particulier (2) et au sein d'une manifestation en général et (3) qui doit décider des critères d'efficacité des actions d'un mouvement social et parler en son nom ? Pour y répondre, la notion de « respect de la diversité des tactiques » et les liens entre les Black Blocs et des organisations militantes « radicales » et « réformistes » mais aussi avec d'autres blocs (les Tute Bianche et les Pink blocs) sont discutés.

In this essay, I will analyze how black men and black gay men are represented on television, especially in sitcoms, and their representation of their relationship with the police, by taking the example of the show Brooklyn Nine-Nine. By analyzing how American society perceives black men, the stereotypes that surrounds them and then through the analysis of black character in sitcoms, I will paint a portrait of traditional black men and black gay men representation. Then I will analyze the show Brooklyn Nine-Nine, to see how this sitcom manages to be politically involved and comment on social issues of its time, and I will analyze the original channel of the show, Fox, as well, to see if their representation of black people and the police correspond to the one on the show. I will also compare the two black characters of the show, Terry Jeffords and Raymond Holt, to the traditional portrait of black representation that I have established in the first part. Finally, I will analyze previous police sitcoms, in order to see the relationship between the police and minorities in sitcoms throughout time. I will analyze the shows The Andy Griffith Show and Barney Miller, both staple shows of their time. Through their analysis, we will see how minorities are approached and how the police institution is represented. Then, I will analyze specific episodes that relate to police violence against black people, in the shows Barney Miller and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, to see how the subject is treated in those shows and the evolution of the representation of police brutality. ; Dans une partie didactique rédigée en français, je présente une séquence possible sur la représentation de l'histoire des noirs Américains à travers l'étude de différentes œuvres d'art.

This dissertation examines the particular vision of Haiti as a place of expression and development of the black-American identity in the 19th-century United States. It intends to show to what extent Haiti should be considered as an essential prism to understand how Black-Americans forged their identity in the 19th century. Based on some concrete experiences that occurred ail throughout that century — from the independence of Haiti in 1804 and the first chosen emigration movement to the Black Republic led by free and emancipated Blacks in the 1820s, to the 1893 Chicago World Fair, when Haiti chose to appoint Frederick Douglass, a former slave and a famous abolitionist and Republican politician, as the first commissioner of its pavilion this dissertation aims to cover a century of relations between Black-Americans and Haiti. Indeed, the 19th century was a particularly troubled period for (free) black-American activists — a century of struggle, during which Blacks kept questioning the black-American movement, whose leaders were themselves often plagued with doubt, constantly tom between their loyalty to their race and their nation. Therefore, while demonstrating that Black-Americans' interest in Haiti was not incompatible with their struggle for emancipation, equality and citizenship within the United States, this dissertation attempts to show that for Black-Americans, the 19th century witnessed, in some way, a diasporic experience in the Caribbean area. ; Cette thèse examine la vision particulière d'Haïti comme lieu d'expression et de développement de l'identité noire-américaine au XIXème siècle. In zwei Beiträgen eines Dossiers über Südafrika zehn Jahre nach dem Ende der Apartheid wird die Strategie des "Black Economic Empowerment" skizziert und diskutiert. Dabei geht es um spezielle Förderung von Beschäftigung, Einkommensmöglichkeiten und Unternehmertum von Schwarzen. "Black Economic Empowerment" ist die wirtschaftliche Strategie der ANC-Regierung, das soziale Erbe der Apartheid zu überwinden. (DÜI-Kör)
