The author of this study focuses on the problem of violence against women who found themselves in difficult situations and were sexually abused during the civil war in Colombia. The study is centered around construction of the victims' images in the publications of transnational, national and regional media (New York Times, Time, Vice, El Tiempo, El Espectador, El Colombiana). The author concludes that the mass media play a significant role in raising public awareness referring to violence against women in Colombia, and contribute to the development of an image of a woman who is ready to fight for her rights and help others. ; Автор данного исследования сосредотачивается на проблеме насилия в отношении женщин, оказавшихся в сложной жизненной ситуации и подвергшихся сексуальной эксплуатации в период гражданской войны в Колумбии. В центре внимания — конструирование образа женщины-жертвы в изданиях транснационального, национального и регионального масштаба (New York Times, Time, Vice, El Tiempo, El Espectador, El Colombiana). Автор приходит к выводу, что средства массовой информации играют серьезную роль в повышении уровня общественной осведомленности относительно проблемы насилия в стране, а также способствуют формированию образа женщины, готовой бороться за свои права и помогать другим.

У даній статті наводиться аналіз тенденцій бюджетних витрат на оборону в п'яти найбільших країнах Латинської Америки в контексті більш широкого розвитку політики в галузі оборони у 2013 році, з'ясовані зміни та витрати на оборону та на військовослужбовців у країнах Бразилії, Аргентині, Чилі, Колумбії та Мексиці. Збільшення загальних витрат на оборону країн великої п'ятірки супроводжувалось зростанням витрачань на одного військовослужбовця. ; This paper presents an analysis of budget trends in defense spending in the five largest countries in Latin America in the context of a broader development policy of defense in 2013, clarifies the changes and defense spending for military personnel in such countries as Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico. The increase in overall defense spending of the big five countries has been accompanied by the growth of per-soldier spending.

The article provides the review of the Third international forum «Russia and Ibero-America in the global world: history and modernity» which took place at Saint-Petersburg State University on October 2-4 of 2017. Over 500 participants from over thirty countries discussed the topical issues of political, economic, social and cultural ties between Russia and Ibero-America, the BRICS' role in the formation of the multipolar world and many more. The Russian representatives of the Ibero-American direction of science presented their researches and exchanged experience with the Latin American colleagues. Among the honorary guests at the forum there were the former President of Brazil Dilma Rousseff and the former President of Colombia Ernesto Samper. ; В статье проводится обзор Третьего международного форума «Россия и Ибероамерика в глобализирующемся мире: история и современность», состоявшегося в Санкт-Петербургском государственном университете 2-4 октября 2017 года. Свыше 500 участников из более чем тридцати стран обсудили актуальные вопросы политических, экономических, социальных и культурных связей между Россией и странами Ибероамерики, роль БРИКС в формировании многополярного мира и многое другое. Представители отечественной ибероамериканистики смогли представить свои исследования и обменяться опытом с латиноамериканскими коллегами. Среди почетных гостей на форуме выступили экс-президент Бразилии Дилма Руссефф и бывший президент Колумбии Эрнесто Сампер.
