Kredi derecelendirme kuruluşlarının Türkiye'ye verdiği notlar ve eleştirilerin incelenmesi ; Examination of the notes and criticisms given by credit rating agencies to Turkey
Kredi derecelendirme kuruluşlarının verdiği notlar, ilgili ülke veya firmaya yönelik verilecek kararlarda temel belirleyicilerden birisidir. Türkiye kredi derecelendirme kuruluşları ile 1990'ların başında tanışmıştır. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye'ye verilen notların dönemsel kırılma noktaları ve verilen notların etkileri incelenmiştir. Ayrıca kredi derecelendirme kuruluşlarının verdiği notlara yönelik eleştiriler ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada kredi derecelendirme kuruluşlarının verdiği kararlarda her zaman tarafsız olamadığı, yanlış kararlar aldığı, verdiği kararların sonucunda ilgili ülke veya firma bundan olumsuz etkilendiği sonucuna varılmıştır. ; The ratings given by credit rating agencies are one of the main determinants in the decisions to be made for the relevant country or company. Turkey met with credit rating agencies in the early 1990s. In this study, the periodical break points of the grades given to Turkey and the effects of the grades given were examined. In addition, the criticism of the ratings given by the credit rating agencies was discussed. In the study, it was concluded that credit rating agencies are not always impartial in their decisions, that they make wrong decisions, and that the country or firm concerned is negatively affected as a result of their decisions. This leads to serious questioning of the existence and reliability of credit rating agencies. On the other hand, these organizations are criticized for operating under the influence and direction of countries and organizations such as the United States, the European Union, and the IMF.
