International audience ; This article analyzes how the cooperative principles and values of the social economy are the most pertinent to enhance a relational intelligence that overcomes the potential adverse effects for people and territories of the delegation of human relations in an artificial intelligence built on capitalist values. The analysis is based on the case study of the French cooperative digital platform Les Oiseaux de Passage, which supports different European heritage communities in enhancing their cultural heritage through activities linked to the tourism sector. In this case, the technology operates as a de-intermediary, de-automated and destandardizer, providing greater transparency and equity to the set of relationships that are established and contributing to the development of more horizontal relationships and economic democracy among partners and with visitors. ; Este artículo analiza cómo los principios y los valores cooperativos de la economía social son los más pertinentes para potenciar una inteligencia relacional que supere los potenciales efectos adversos para personas y territorios de la delegación de las relaciones humanas en una inteligencia artificial basada en valores capitalistas. El análisis se basa en el estudio del caso de la plataforma cooperativa francesa Les Oiseaux de Passage, que da soporte a diferentes comunidades patrimoniales europeas en la puesta en valor de su patrimonio cultural a través de actividades ligadas al sector turístico. La technologie fonctionne pour ce cas comme un désintermédiateur, un désautomatiseur et un déstandardiseur, apportant une plus grande transparence et équité à l'ensemble des relations qui sont créées, et contribue au développement de relations plus horizontales et d'une démocratie économique entre les partenaires et avec les visiteurs.

Ratner draws upon Lev Vygotsky's sociocultural psychology, Bronfenbrenner's ecological psychology, as well as work in sociology, anthropology, history, and geography, to explore the political implications and assumptions of psychological theories regarding social policy and reform.

Abstract
Student profiling and learning strategies have gained the interest of many researchers. In language learning in particular, understanding students' learning strategies as well as their multiple intelligence profiles is significant because it allows the teachers to develop and design lessons and materials that are customised to their diverse learning needs. Hence, this study investigates the Multiple Intelligences (MI) and Language Learning Strategy (LLS) profiles of students from various science and technology faculties of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Terengganu, with a focus on gender differences. The study's objectives were to determine the dominant students' MI profiles, their preferred LLS, and gender variations in these variables. Two instruments were adopted in this study, namely McKenzie's Multiple Intelligences Inventory and the Strategy Inventory for Language Learning (SILL). The findings indicated that the students mostly acquire introspective intelligence, and the majority of male respondents use metacognitive learning strategies. However, the findings revealed a significant positive relationship between MI and LLS. Based on these findings, the study emphasises the importance of incorporating MI and LLS in language teaching and learning and provides recommendations for language teachers to create lesson plans and teaching materials that suit the students' needs.

AbstractRecent technological developments in automation and artificial intelligence (AI) promise to disrupt the very foundations of how legal work is practised and delivered. Yet how they challenge current business models, where they encounter resistance and how the benefits of AI can be realised remain unexplored. Drawing on interviews with professionals in the UK legal services sector, the article highlights how technological and market pressures combine to challenge the business models of legal services firms. However, the findings reveal important cultural and structural challenges that hamper transformation. The article extends the debate on technological disruption in legal services through a focus on business model innovation as a tool that can support firms in the sector to reimagine legal services provision.

The article deals with the consequences of the vulnerability of cultural codes as an actual threat to the existence of human civilization with the uncontrolled and unreasonable use of artificial intelligence. Positive as well as negative options for the interaction of artificial intelligence with cultural codes that level the understanding of the basic universals of human behavior, communication, and activity are analyzed. The influence of the human factor on the use of acquired skills by strong artificial intelligence in non-standard conditions, the responsibility of a particular specialist for the quality and quantity of input data under the influence of his gender, confessional, national, racial, cultural and linguistic characteristics, leading the system to erroneous actions and conclusions, are investigated. The negative consequences of an uncritical perception of reality, the inability of a modern person to distinguish content from fakes that are becoming massive, replacing the existing reality, used for unseemly and criminal purposes are considered. The necessity of state regulation of the ethical behavior of business engaged in the development and implementation of artificial intelligence technologies, the establishment of ethical behavior standards in this innovative area, the signing of the Code of Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, adopted by representatives of leading domestic companies, are substantiated. The practical implementation of the areas of training of highly qualified IT specialists presented in it at universities, the system of additional education with the acquisition of demanded professions of specialists in data analysis and processing, ensuring the operation of corporate information systems, data analysis in the field of education, programmers, including at the Saratov National Research State University named after N.G. Chernyshevsky, Saratov State University of Genetics, Biotechnology and Engineering named after N. I. Vavilov.

International audience ; Under the effect of major technological innovations and increased globalization of commercial exchanges since the end of the 1980s, numerous transformations are constantly affecting the cultural industries. It is in this context, where the logic of profit tends to be accentuated in cultural markets, that many sectors have sought to distinguish their products from those of the mass market. Although it covers quite different practices and representations according to the sectors concerned, the claim of independence emanates from bodies having in common to have renounced neither the audience nor the economic profitability. Starting with the case of the University of All Knowledge (Utls), this article is devoted to the stakes of independence in a sector that is generally little studied: that of scientific popularization. What are the issues of independence specific to an activity that has to adjust the content of science to the constraints of wider dissemination? The article shows that the Utls formula, as conceived by Yves Michaud, is based on the promotion of a quality science (renowned scientists, prestigious academic institutions, etc.) for which the required line is imperatively that of participation, accommodation or, failing that, indifference to the political and economic orders. From this point of view, it can be said that such an enterprise reflects a rather unprecedented synthesis of arrangements in which the signs of independence are established on multiple dependencies, by virtue of the entangled relationships between the state and the market that these new dominant fractions institute within the local, national and international spaces of power. ; Sous l'effet d'importantes innovations technologiques et d'une mondialisation accrue des échanges commerciaux depuis la fin des années 1980, de nombreuses transformations ne cessent d'affecter les industries culturelles. C'est dans ce contexte où les logiques du profit tendent à s'accentuer sur les marchés de la culture que de nombreuses filières ont cherché à démarquer leurs produits de ceux qui se rattachent au pôle de la grande diffusion. Bien qu'elle recouvre des pratiques et des représentations assez différentes suivant les secteurs concernés, la revendication d'indépendance émane d'instances ayant en commun de n'avoir renoncé ni à l'audience ni à la rentabilité économique. À partir du cas de l'Université de tous les savoirs (Utls), cet article est consacré aux enjeux de l'indépendance s'agissant d'un secteur généralement peu étudié : celui de la vulgarisation scientifique. Qu'en est- il en effet des enjeux de l'indépendance propres à une activité ayant à ajuster le contenu de la science aux contraintes de la diffusion élargie ? L'article montre ainsi que la formule de l'Utls, telle que l'a conçue Yves Michaud, est fondée sur la mise en avant d'une science de qualité (personnalités scientifiques de renom, institutions académiques prestigieuses, etc.) pour laquelle la ligne exigée est impérativement celle de la participation, de l'accommodement ou, à défaut, de l'indifférence aux ordres politique et économique. De ce point de vue, on peut dire qu'une telle entreprise reflète une synthèse plutôt inédite de dispositifs où les signes de l'indépendance s'établissent sur des dépendances multiples, en vertu des rapports d'intrication entre l'État et le marché qu'instituent ces nouvelles fractions dominantes au sein des espaces locaux, nationaux et internationaux du pouvoir.

Abstract
Even though artificial intelligence (AI) is no new occurrence, with its beginnings dating back to the 1950s, its use has gained popularity worldwide, especially in recent years, and its presence and importance has grown in many areas of human lives, including education. Surveys conducted internationally have found generally positive attitudes of university students towards artificial intelligence (AI) and its inclusion into various fields of research and study. However, only few research probes have been conducted among students of philology and future language teachers. No such research has been conducted among university students or pre-service EFL teachers in Central Europe. This paper aims to fill this gap in educational research knowledge, as knowing teachers' and teacher students' attitudes towards AI can be a key factor in the success or failure of applying AI in education. Therefore, the aim of the study is to determine the level of knowledge and dominant attitudes towards AI in general, AI in learning/teaching EFL and the inclusion of AI in the teacher training curriculum among pre-service EFL teachers in Slovakia.
To collect data from the respondents, a cross-sectional survey in the form of a KAP questionnaire was conducted in November-December 2022. 137 pre-service English language teachers responded to a pre-tested online questionnaire consisting of 19 closed-ended (5-point Likert scale) items and one open-ended question.
Slovak EFL pre-service teachers were equally interested (38.67%) and uninterested (39.42%) in the ongoing discussion about AI in education. Overall, they self-reported having no (61.31%) or unsatisfactory (21.17%) understanding of the basic computational principles of AI. On the other hand, they were significantly more satisfied with their knowledge of AI-based applications for EFL teaching, which they considered adequate (35.04%). Nevertheless, almost half of the students (45.25%) rated their knowledge as inadequate. It was therefore encouraging to learn that 64.24% of the respondents agreed that AI education should be included in their university curriculum and had predominantly positive expectations of AI and its application in education. 63.50% of them agreed with the statement that AI will improve education in general (compared to only 18.98% who disagreed). They shared a predominantly positive attitude towards the incorporation of AI into EFL and showed their optimistic expectations regarding the impact of AI on teaching and learning English as a foreign language. Slovak EFL pre-service teachers did not express any concerns about the future of their profession. However, a majority of them (53.28%) agreed that EFL teachers might lose some of their skills when using AI in their practice and a significant number (42.33%) feared that AI would make EFL teaching less personal. These findings are consistent with previous research conducted internationally.
