For the first time in Europe hundreds of rare disease (RD) experts team up to actively share and jointly analyse existing patient's data. Solve-RD is a Horizon 2020-supported EU flagship project bringing together >300 clinicians, scientists, and patient representatives of 51 sites from 15 countries. Solve-RD is built upon a core group of four European Reference Networks (ERNs; ERN-ITHACA, ERN-RND, ERN-Euro NMD, ERN-GENTURIS) which annually see more than 270,000 RD patients with respective pathologies. The main ambition is to solve unsolved rare diseases for which a molecular cause is not yet known. This is achieved through an innovative clinical research environment that introduces novel ways to organise expertise and data. Two major approaches are being pursued (i) massive data re-analysis of >19,000 unsolved rare disease patients and (ii) novel combined -omics approaches. The minimum requirement to be eligible for the analysis activities is an inconclusive exome that can be shared with controlled access. The first preliminary data re-analysis has already diagnosed 255 cases form 8393 exomes/genome datasets. This unprecedented degree of collaboration focused on sharing of data and expertise shall identify many new disease genes and enable diagnosis of many so far undiagnosed patients from all over Europe. ; The Solve-RD project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 779257. This research is supported (not financially) by four ERNs: (1) The ERN for Intellectual Disability, Telehealth and Congenital Anomalies (ERN-ITHACA)—Project ID No 869189; (2) The ERN on Rare Neurological Diseases (ERN-RND)—Project ID No 739510; (3) The ERN for Neuromuscular Diseases (ERN Euro-NMD)—Project ID No 870177; (4) The ERN on Genetic Tumour Risk Syndromes (ERN GENTURIS)—Project ID No 739547. The ERNs are co-funded by the European Union within the framework of the Third Health Programme.

Companies receiving funds for their research, development and technological innovation (R&D&I) activities must comply with communication obligations so that citizens are informed of the projects that are financed using public funds. The information requirements are defined both in the European and Spanish legal framework. The objective of this paper is to compile this legislation and analyse the communication and data sharing obligations that are required for these funding recipients. The results indicate that the communication obligations of the subsidised projects are very general. It is compulsory to standardise the terms used, the actions requested and the content of these, and to promote data sharing in companies, all through a repository that brings together the R&D&I projects funded.

The "open data" movement is becoming more popular in different contexts: public administration, science and companies; therefore, it is important to know its scope. The term has generated a lot of expectations related to transparency at all levels, data reuse and free access. This review discusses some of the expectations generated by this movement. When the term "open data" is used is usually understood as the opening of digital data, but this concept also fits the data on printed documents. There is a huge amount of data stored in archives and libraries that have been built with the taxes of the citizens who are not scanned. Opening data is increasingly demanded by the public. Promoting access, therefore, is linked to the transparency of the processes. Depending on who the data producer will talk about transparency in government, research or business.
WOS: 000443598800002 ; The term "data journalism" arrived to newsrooms some time ago, and now every news media wants be part of it. In a small country like Uruguay - despite the isolated efforts of some companies, NGOs and government agencies - it has still not found its place in the media. This research tries to clarify the concept of data journalism in order to break down the state of the art in Uruguay, through interviews with journalists, members of NGOs and members of the academic staff of the universities where the future journalists are being formed. Thus being able to point out the impulses and obstacles data journalism has encountered in order to foresee its possible future.

; The research work begins by carrying out an analysis around the evolution of collaborative platforms from their origins, when they acted as mere intermediaries of person-to-person transactions without the mediation of the markets, to much more complex current scenarios, participated by companies that have transformed the collaborative purpose in contexts of economic exchange based on underlying services. Considering the objectives of the study and the lack of a unitary criteria around the classification of the underlying jobs in these platforms, we will focus mainly on "demand work" from the labor point of view, distinguishing two scenarios: "on-demand work line "and" work under demand off-line ". For later, deepen the identity of the workers, who provide these services, as well as the problems associated with their work. The platforms base their business model on productive outsourcing where all the costs related to the job provision itself are entirely assumed by the so-called "digital workers". For this, we will analyze the characteristic notes of the workforce of these workers, and if these services they have been providing do so camouflaged under the figure of false selfemployed. In the absence of unified doctrine in Spain, we will conclude this study comparing the main sentences that are coming, pronouncing, especially the cases of Deliveroo, Glovo and Take Eat Easy.
