This paper will discuss some of the forms of demonstration developed in commemorative dates, under the assumption that many of themhave been adopted at political demonstrations in 2011. In doing so, we review some of these forms of the occupation of public space, understanding them as a space of conflict. The paper also aims to understand the political demonstrations as expressions of a radical citizenship building. Citizenship because it is developed in the occupation of public space and radical because it is defined from the plurality and the pride of those who express themselves.

International audience ; In this article I will concentrate on analysing three street demonstrations organised by people with physical and sensory disabilities - known at the time as "crippled" (lisiados) - in Chile, Uruguay and Argentina in the early 1970s. The scenarios of these demonstrations are as follows: Santiago de Chile (22 March 1972), Montevideo (4 December 1972) and Buenos Aires (24 July 1973). The time frame of this work and our interest in focusing solely on comparing the street demonstrations organised at the beginning of the 1970s is justified by a series of common and opposing elements: the relative similarity of the social groups that organised them, their chronological concomitance, but also the role of these demonstrations in the conquest of political citizenship. The aim of this article is therefore to analyse the originality and specificity of the three street demonstrations of "crippled" people organised in these Southern Cone countries. This cross-analysis of the demonstrations will be carried out on the basis of a series of criteria: the social groups that organised them; the number and social composition of the demonstrators; the interest groups and political parties that supported them ; the objectives of these demonstrations and their degree of subversion of the social order; their strategy (corporeal or not) of self-presentation ; their duration; the degree of police repression; the level of success (social and legislative gains); the role of transnational circulations (transfers of ideas, forms of organisation and actions); their media coverage and their memorial uses.

This text shows some reflections of the authors that have motivated and emerged from their participation in the women's collective Restauradoras con glitter, defining a professional and political position. This position was and is stated as a result of the interventions made by women on different monuments since August 2019 in response to misogynist violence and the aggressive criticism and judgments that, in response, an important part of the public opinion emitted. Our participation is also motivated by the consciousness that monuments can be used to communicate other messages than those communicated by the hegemonic discourse, and sustained from the institutions, without betraying the profession. On the contrary, we fully assume conservation as a social discipline. We address the concepts of alterity and subalternity, the notions of the impossibility of neutrality in conservation, along with the necessity of keeping the memory of our historical and social context, and the right to demonstration. We do not forget to point out the serious problems that women face in Mexico, and that it is possible to remove paint from surfaces, but not violence and murder.

; This research analyzes the civic demonstrations that occurred in March 2015 in Brazil, with a perspective of political debate and conflict discursive construction. The study proposed focuses on the concepts of dissensus and polemics following Amossy theories. 20 posters made by citizens and showed during Rousseff's impeachment protests have been analyzed. Different topics have been selected, adapting the categories of subject of discourse image construction (Amossy, 2014; Charaudeau, 2013a, 2013b) and polemics (Amossy, 2014). Demonstrations generated a paradox between the right to protest and the defense of a military dictatorship. Conclusions approach to the argumentative limits of polemics and verbal violence as tools to value or attack the state of democracy in Brazil. Rousseff's 2016 impeachment gives a more complete context to those discourses effects.

The present work is in charge of studying the first two labor conflicts that occurred in the National Telecommunications Company (Telecom), which occurred in 1961 and 1965 respectively. Most of the information from the newspaper El Tiempo is used to inquire about the reasons and outcomes of these protests by the company's workers. The role played by the Telecom workers union, which championed each of the conflicts, is highlighted. It also emphasizes the way in which these protests were declared illegal by the government, relying on the Substantive Labor Code (CST) of 1950, regarding the right to strike in public sector companies.

A significant number of academics who have studied although superficially social protest, have employed a very narrow view of democracy and therefore they have repudiated the roadblocks. For its part, the theory of deliberative democracy has tested a defense of the roadblocks contemplating in them an exercise of free speech. Taking as an example a bill submitted to regulate social protest, I try to show the failure of the theory of deliberative democracy to protect the roadblocks. ; Fil: Benente, Mauro.
