The abstract is an indispensable component of an academic paper. The English version of the abstract in Chinese academic journals plays an important role in its international influence. However, as the English editor of a Chinese academic journal, the author noted mistakes and problems in the English translation of the abstracts ranging from diction and grammar to logic and structure. Based on the classification of the typical mistakes and the exploration of the root causes of them, this paper offers a feasible solution to the above problems in the hope of offering reference for the writing and translation of abstracts in academic journals.

This paper is a result of the author's strong interest in the organization of Chinese society during the vast period of imperial China — social relationships, education, upbringing. The study and systematization of key prerequisites for the formation and sustainable preservation of moral values in Chinese society will be the subject of a series of publications. One of the essential factors in this regard is the genre of "family instructions" 家训 popular in classical China, within which a number of works were created and distributed with the main purpose of affirming basic moral ideals. Since the hardest core of Chinese society is the family, it is not accidental that these "instructions" are headed in this direction.

Central and Eastern Europe, in the heartland of Eurasia, is an important region for the mutual construction of the "Belt and Road", and also a key region for foreign cooperation of China's energy industry. According to the renewable energy development goals of Central and Eastern European countries, the proportion of non-fossil energy consumption will increase to more than 25% by 2030. The renewable energy will become one of the important routes to achieve energy transformation and clean emissions in Central and Eastern Europe. At present, the proportion of renewable energy consumption in some Central and Eastern European countries is still significantly lower than the EU's 2030 target; therefore, the pace of energy transformation will be further accelerated. Since China has advanced technology and rich experience in wind power, hydro-power, photovoltaic, nuclear power and other clean energy fields, it can cooperate with Central and Eastern European countries in green energy project development, smart grid, engineering construction, pipe network construction and other fields. The cooperation between the two sides is highly complementary, conforms to the theme of the era of global sustainable development, vigorously promoting the green development of the "Belt and Road", and consolidating the people-to-people bond of jointly building the "Belt and Road". This study focuses on the energy development trend of China and Central and Eastern European countries, explores the cooperation paths of the two sides in the energy field, and puts forward targeted reference suggestions for further deepening cooperation between the two sides.

The idiom is the crystallization of the wisdom of a country and a nation, and it is also an important part of language. A country's colloquial expressions can deeply reflect the country's culture, language characteristics and national way of thinking. If Chinese language learners want to express themselves authentically, it is particularly important to strengthen the teaching of Chinese idioms. In the two languages, the expressions of idioms are distinct in language form and content. For Chinese language learners in Bulgaria, understanding and learning the differences between the two countries will not only enrich their vocabulary, but can also help them understand the Chinese culture and the Chinese way of thinking in the learning process; this, in turn, will promote Bulgarian scholars' enthusiasm for learning Chinese. Throughout the existing research, there are not many studies of the comparison of mediation idioms and the teaching of Chinese idioms in China. Therefore, this paper takes the comparison of idioms in mediation and the teaching of Chinese idioms in China as its research object, and uses the methods of literature, comparative analysis, inductive analysis and the interview to compare and analyze the differences between Chinese and Bulgarian common sayings, investigate the teaching status of Chinese idioms in Confucianism, find the problems in the teaching of Chinese idioms in Confucianism, sort out the causes, and on this basis, summarize the teaching of Chinese idioms in China and Bulgaria. Teaching colloquial expressions summarizes some of the teaching strategies and suggestions that have a substantial role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and provides some convenience for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.

Mei Fei was one of the favourite concubines of Emperor Xuan Zong (685–762) of the Tang Dynasty, whose stay in the palace coincided with that of another favourite of the emperor, Yang Guifei. But while much has been written about Yang Guifei, almost nothing is known about Mei Fei. The little that is known about her is mostly due to a copy (dating from the end of the 11th – the beginning of the 12th century) of a scroll taken by the bookseller Zhu Zundu, known by the nickname Zhu Wanjuan ("Zhu – the ten thousand scrolls").

Under the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the dissemination of Chinese culture and language has met unprecedented difficulties and challenges. By expounding the new difficulties and problems faced by the Confucius Insti tutes in Bulgaria during the COVID-19 pandemic, such as the lack of teachers, students' dropping out, teaching resources shortage, and frustrated interest in learning, this paper analyzes the effective strategies which contribute to ensuring regular classroom teaching and promoting cultural exchange during the pan demic. The practical and effective adjustment includes utilizing existing resourc es, improving TCFL teachers' information literacy, strengthening localization construction of teachers and teaching materials, and enriching Chinese culture dissemination through the Internet, which not only leveled up Chinese language teaching outside of China, but also successfully popularized Chinese culture across national borders. Those practices actively promoted the cultural exchange between Bulgaria and China, and expanded the impact of Chinese culture in Bulgaria, giving a valuable reference in Chinese language teaching and culture dissemination in the post-pandemic era to other Central and Eastern European countries, and the countries along the Belt and Road as well.

With the emergence of a "cultural turn" in western translation researches since the 1970s, translators' subjectivity has been highlighted, and some researchers have also been aware of the existence of intersubjectivity in translation activities; however, the views on the connotation and origin of intersubjectivity in translation are still controversial. This paper attempts to probe into the root causes for the existence of "intersubjectivity in translation" from a cognitive perspective, based on the fundamental "reality-cognition-language" principle in the Embodied Philosophy and cognitive linguistics. According to this principle, "cognition" mediates between "reality" and "language". Language is formed on the basis of bodily experience and through the processing of human cognitive mechanism. Language is not a self-contained system, but closely related to the external world and human cognition. Furthermore, the author analyzes in depth Prof. Wang Yin's viewpoint of "weakening phenomena" on "reality-cognition-language", which sheds light on the study of intersubjectivity in translation. Qualitative research methods (including interviews and translation tests, etc.) have been adopted to collect relevant research data from carefully chosen respondents with different cultural backgrounds and bilingual competence, showing the manifestations of intersubjectivity in translation and the rationality of the kernel "reality-cognition language" principle in cognitive linguistics. In conclusion, fundamentally, it is the "commonness" and "differences" of individual subjects involved in translation activities (including the original author, the translator, the reader of the target text, and the translation initiator, etc.) together with the complicated interrelations among "reality", "cognition" and "language" that cause intersubjectivity in translation. Intersubjectivity and subjectivity are interdependent, coexisting in the holistic field of translation.

In the information age, takeaway has become an important way for people to consume food. College students' online ordering of food takeaways has become an important part of life. It is of practical significance to understand the consumption characteristics and consumption values of college students by investigating their attitudes towards takeaway consumption through questionnaires. Objective: To design a "college students' takeaway consumption attitude questionnaire", which includes cognitive and emotional components. Methods: On the basis of literature research, the consumption attitude of college students to takeaway consumption was understood through semi-structured interviews, and the questionnaire items were designed according to the interview results; in the form of questionnaire survey, 246 "college students' takeaway consumption attitude questionnaires" were distributed to test the internal consistency, exploratory factor analysis and validity of the questionnaire. Result: Internal consistency of the questionnaire α the coefficient is 0.885; the KMO value of the questionnaire is 0.852>0.8, χ²= 1754.637, with a significance level of 0.000, indicating that the college students' takeaway attitude questionnaire is suitable for factor analysis, and factors with a characteristic root greater than1 (perceived value, subjective norms, satisfaction, trust) are extracted, with a cumulative variance of 64.674%, reaching an acceptable value. Conclusion: The college students' takeaway consumption attitude questionnaire has good reliability and validity, and can be used as a tool for the study of college students' consumption attitude towards takeaway"
