This work examines the current state of Russian education on the basis of data of the researches which were carried out in recent years in our educational institutions. The main attention is focused on an explanation of existing distinctions and identification of the factors influencing the training results rather than on ranging educational institutions by level of pupil preparation. Similar researches make it possible to reveal strong sides and weaknesses of Russian education and to trace a course of actions for more effective achievement of the scheduled purposes.
; This paper presents the results of a literature review that considers documents and research work on environmental education (EA) in general, and on EA and legislation in particular, produced at the international, regional and national levels, and guided by the questions: What do works linking EA and education in Argentine legislation contend? In what context, within the EA field, are they inserted? Through the referred reviews we characterize the EA international and Latin American panorama, and analyze the contributions of five articles and a book relevant to our focus on Argentina. Without claiming to have done thorough research, this approach allowed us to perceive the need to deepen the studies that, apart from describing the content of the various laws, analyze its meaning in the historical context in which each regulation was passed, as well as the relationship between forces in the field of environmental education.
Abstract The word topos is greek and denotes a place. Later on, it took on the meaning of the latin locus communis-literally "common place". The English word "commonplace" is rendered in the Oxford English Dictionary as "an ordinary topic of conversation" or "an everyday saying; a platitude". In my paper i would like to stress the existential aspect of the topic, related to the "deep" topics of enemity and conflict, of friendship and love and care, themes that are reiterated and re-established in the more or less artificial settings that we call schooling and education. This leads me to the question of the transcendental, or rather the work of the transcendental in the activity of education. The main point is that the transcendental is not far away or beyond of our real life, but has its place and setting in that very life, inside the life we live. My argument here starts with a thought figure sifted from g.w.f. Hegel's logic, the finite-infinite relation presented in the first book under the heading of the doctrine of being. There is, in short, an inner and intimate relationship between the finite and the infinite, the real and the utopian, the here and the beyond. I shall argue that hegel's dialectic configures an everyday, existential and tran-scendental thinking relevant for education.
This paper compares two normative theories of education in Chile, one centered in the republican tradition, mainly in the XIX and partly in the XXth century, and the other imposed by the military dictatorship and who uses the market freedom and the market efficiency as justificatory devices. The republican theory argues in favor of a central role of the state in the design of a public, universal, obligatory and tuitionless educational system, understood as essential to the formation of citizens in common and to the construction of an egalitarian society. One can think of education, in this perspective, as a common property, a public good of which nobody can, in principle be excluded. To the market theory, education is conceived as a consumer good –or, in another version, as an investment– who means high rates of return to individual users and for that reason must be paid by them. From another perspective, a private system of education is justified in terms of the freedom to offer educational goods in the market, and the freedom to choose this goods by theconsumers. In Chile an educational system very similar to the republican one, has existed till 1973. This system has had a relatively peaceful coexistence with private education in all levels. In current discussions on education, this mixed system is considered a good thing. The paper argues that this coexistence is no more possible with the actual market model who seeks to exclude any other system, which is incompatible with a strong public system of high quality and who points therefore to the destatisation of all education.
In this text, my objective is to present and to problematize some of the possible connections between neoliberal governmentality and education, within the framework of links between displacements, overlap emphasis transformations, subsitutions, contituities and ruptures which can be observed in educational practices and policies. I also seek to sketch out a summary of publications in Brazil which deal with these connections. The first section of this text consists in a broad discussion about the concept of governmentality. In the second section, I tackle Michel Foucault's conceptions of liberalism and neoliberalism. In the third section, I discuss some ways in which Foucault's thinking in the political field resonates with the transformations currently being experienced by the contemporary world. In the fourth and final section, I make three comments of an educational nature about these transformations and connections.

In the fourth and final section, I make three comments of an educational nature about these transformations and connections ; Durante la década pasada se publicaron los cursos que Michel Foucault dictara en el Còllege de France.

From a perspective that articulates and brings closer the approaches of cultural studies and political economy of culture, the thrust of the article is that culture as a whole has a generative nature of the logic, ethics, politics and aesthetics, is say that all these spheres of life are part and product of culture, they are the culture. In that vein, the alphabetic culture, like Western peculiarity is the basis of so-called Western tradition and therefore the origin of phenomena such as capitalism, modernity (secularization) and modernization (industrialization and computerization) of society.
I work in Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro, in Queretaro, in the Education masters and Phd. As professor and investigator of educative practices and theories, I find powerful a socio-educative fact: It is valued to center the educative process into student's educative process. The current legitimate teaching representation states: learning must be center of educating. Such demand is usually admitted without further ado; it is justified by alleging that it superates the so-called traditional school and becomes even more irrefutable when the adjective "significative" is added to learning. This essay problematizes such statement; although it does not disqualify it, it proposes, to educate aditional activities to learning. How does it achieve it? By critizicing teaching common sense, it presents what has as plausible to enchance it: it movilizes towards science that is generating, (significative learning), achievements from science that is already made: knowing, thinking, praxis and reflecting. This essay offers an explanation of such actions that humanize a human being, the arguments start from the analysis of disyuntive-maniqueist thought that separates with a new-traditional bad-good style and shows that the binary sets person-society or freedom-authority do not necessarily espress an aporia. Alludes to processes of self-freeing, self-contention and democratic processes. It is supported in the conception of complex education and presents educative actions different from learning. It concludes proposing an education urged to dialogue with
; The Spanish Constitution (1978) and Law of Religious Freedom (1980) open the possibility of religious pluralism in Spain, a possibility that in principle will stagnate within the framework legislative without a projection in the social practice. ; Myth as a didactic resource was the fundamental organizing idea for the teaching of Civic Education in Republica del Peru Institute, founded in 1985 in Parera, La Pampa. The main goal of such institution, in direct connection with the university course of Didactics, UNLPam, was focused on educating autonomous individuals capable of social cooperation. The task involved a tracking evaluation which became the subject of several publications and of a curricular evaluation captured by a Master dissertation that verified the political commitment and active insertion of the Institute's graduates in the community. Encouraged by the success obtained and with the aim of favoring the use of narrative as a didactic strategy, we committed ourselves to an in-depth analysis of the myth's central theme and its symbols. The selected examples attempt to facilitate the access to the world of mythical narrative, recovering its huge educational potential.
