The 1863 Political Constitution of the United States of Colombia and the 1870 Organic Decree regarding Elementary Public Education included articles that seemed to limit the control of education by the Catholic Church. Through the analysis of some school textbooks representative of the period, the article shows how despite the aforementioned regulations, religious education was widespread in schools and remained practically untouched by the attempts to impose limits on it. The pages of those textbooks clearly show the gap between the laws and the lessons taught in schools.
I work in Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro, in Queretaro, in the Education masters and Phd. As professor and investigator of educative practices and theories, I find powerful a socio-educative fact: It is valued to center the educative process into student's educative process. The current legitimate teaching representation states: learning must be center of educating. Such demand is usually admitted without further ado; it is justified by alleging that it superates the so-called traditional school and becomes even more irrefutable when the adjective "significative" is added to learning. This essay problematizes such statement; although it does not disqualify it, it proposes, to educate aditional activities to learning. How does it achieve it? By critizicing teaching common sense, it presents what has as plausible to enchance it: it movilizes towards science that is generating, (significative learning), achievements from science that is already made: knowing, thinking, praxis and reflecting. This essay offers an explanation of such actions that humanize a human being, the arguments start from the analysis of disyuntive-maniqueist thought that separates with a new-traditional bad-good style and shows that the binary sets person-society or freedom-authority do not necessarily espress an aporia. Alludes to processes of self-freeing, self-contention and democratic processes. It is supported in the conception of complex education and presents educative actions different from learning. It concludes proposing an education urged to dialogue with
; The Spanish Constitution (1978) and Law of Religious Freedom (1980) open the possibility of religious pluralism in Spain, a possibility that in principle will stagnate within the framework legislative without a projection in the social practice. The passage towards the exercise of the religious plurality, its institutionalization, is intensifying in the last years as result of the diversification of the religions and the increase foreign immigration. In this paper, the author dwells to analyze how religious pluralism in the Spanish educative scope is being fitted. She shows the problems that consider when the right to the education of the religion –of the religions– it is applied in the schools where, in addition, the historical presence of the catholic religion prevails.

; Over two hundred years ago Letters on the Aesthetic Education of Manwas published by Friedrich Schiller. There was the beginning of the bourgeois society and the capitalist economy. Those same years immediately following the French Revolution. In his work, he reflected the importance of the artistic and the aesthetic education of the individual and society, not only as a matter of philosophy, but as a political problem, and he could see that individuals were annihilatedin order to preserve the anarchy existence. In our contemporary world, which for many reasons it is settled in the early 60's and more specifically on May 68, problems, similar to those which confronted Schiller, not coincidentally his thoughts are taken up and developed by some authors today, both in the political and the aesthetic realm, agreeing on the importance of aesthetic education against the excesses of political reasoning and communication.
; Myth as a didactic resource was the fundamental organizing idea for the teaching of Civic Education in Republica del Peru Institute, founded in 1985 in Parera, La Pampa. The main goal of such institution, in direct connection with the university course of Didactics, UNLPam, was focused on educating autonomous individuals capable of social cooperation. The task involved a tracking evaluation which became the subject of several publications and of a curricular evaluation captured by a Master dissertation that verified the political commitment and active insertion of the Institute's graduates in the community. Encouraged by the success obtained and with the aim of favoring the use of narrative as a didactic strategy, we committed ourselves to an in-depth analysis of the myth's central theme and its symbols. The selected examples attempt to facilitate the access to the world of mythical narrative, recovering its huge educational potential.
There are different approaches from which globalization can be observed, the first approach is that which implies equal opportunities for all countries, while the second approach denies any possibility that one country has an advantage over another and the last approach, totally In contrast to the latter, a country is affected or benefited based on its economic and political forces worldwide, and not only this but also based on the changes that take place within the less developed nations.
; The effective Reformation in the system educational Spanish has in the Organic Law of General Ordination of the Educational System (1990) its fundamental legal base. This Reformation has supposed a general reordering of the system, prolonging the common obligatory schooling for all the students until the 16 years. The principles that govern the Reformation can group in the following chapters: autonomy, attention to the new social and economic times, systemic conception of the education and answer to the society democratic present and future. To give answer this last point, the Reformation worries about the social participation in the system, of non discrimination, of the attention of the students with difficulties and of the equality of opportunities. The Reformation has also been an opportunity to modernize the psychological and pedagogic principles that govern the school curriculum, which is shown open and flexible, to assist the diversity of territories and centers of the group of the State. The transfer of the educational system to the governments of the respective Autonomous Communities makes that variations take place among the diverse territories of the State, according to the own cultural and linguistic necessities, as well as the importance that the same governments and the society in general want to grant to its education. They stay some common basic norms for all.
In this essay, I argue that great ideologies can be conceived and propagated only if the appropriate material conditions are present; therefore, they are not predictable. In this article, I highlight the sine qua non conditions for the emergence of ideologies such as gender perspective and feminism. I show how, with the development of capitalism, the political struggle gradually lost its class character and was largely oriented towards sexuality issues. From my perspective, there is a plausible justification for the gender perspective as opposed to what happens with feminism.

The curricular transformations and the legislative changes occurred in the Spanish context do not seem to have addressed the demands that key organizations such as OMS or UNESCO have made about sex education. In the specific context of Spanish Secondary Compulsory Education, the present article taps into the past and present of concepts such as the body, emotions, interpersonal relationships and issues linked to equality and gender. To this end, we conducted a review of the educational legislation from the LGE of 1970 to the current LOMCE with a view to tapping into the most important implications of these legislative frameworks. This article also aims to picture the reality of the academic framework of sexology and sex education looked at as areas of knowledge, highlighting the most significant trends. Finally, we map out the current situation of sexual education as a theoretical body in secondary education. We also highlight the keys which might encourage the incorporation of sex education in the educational curriculum and in the initial and continuous training programs for education professionals.
Starting from the idea that education is at the service of personal freedom, the author of this article explains and justifies the thesis that in order to form free persons, freedom of education is an indispensable condition. After identifying the concepts of education, freedom, and person, as well as the relationships that exist between the educactional process and the right to education, the author warns that the meaning of freedom and the acceptance of responsability are closely related to the concept which one holds of person and especially to the difference between considering the person as a beginning or as a result. If the human person is understood to be a starting principle, then implicitly we say that the person constitutes the free origin of all action, for which there is complete responsability. If, on the other hand, we consider man to be the result of, say, social, biological or technological factors, then neither freedom nor responsability can be attributed to him. The author then studies the Reductionist conceptions of education which are in vogue today. These are the Pragmatistic, Political and Criticistic approaches. He especially underlines the difficulties and obstacles that lie in the face of freedom of education, arising from the confusion between educative action and social or political action, a confusion that stems principally from Social Determinism. The author then underlines the points of friction that arise from different opinions and attitudes with respect to the distinct contents of the educational process and which are projected mainly in the field of the different interpretations given of culture as well as in the field of personal values, especially religious values. The action of the State can be effective in the field of technical affairs but it does not possess any legitimate capacity to impose a particular interpretation of culture or of the religious fact. For this reason, in the field of education the action of the State can only be a propelling and permitting force, or, ...
