Description of the battle at Erfurt between the Protestant forces of Gustavus Adolphus, King of Sweden, 1594-1632, and the imperial forces commanded by Wallenstein. Although Sweden won the battle, the King of Sweden was killed in doing so. His death opened up the possiblity of a complete change in European politics.
