Zjawisko to określane jest też jako "kobiety w środku" (ang. women in the middle) lub "złapani w środku" (ang. being caught in the middle).

This article is a contribution to the decades of disputes and reflections on civil society and its future. Since a large part of the fears and hopes associated with these discussions concerns the role of young people in supporting and developing civil society, the aim of this article is to present the results of a quantitative study conducted among the Jagiellonian University students belonging to the Z generation. Thanks to the fact that the survey combines questions concerning civic attitudes and civic engagement, the study grasps the specific characteristics of young people, which are often overlooked, and their possible impact on the future of civil society. Drawing attention to the young people who are university students and analyzing the relationship between the respondents' civility and their socio-cultural environment, the article answers the questions concerning the opportunities for the further development of civil society in Poland and the role of the young generation of Polish residents in this process. In particular, following the quantitative analysis of the responses of 149 participants, the article presents a discussion on the most common types of civic engagement, their relationship with the civic attitudes of the respondents and the impact of the socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents on these variables.
The relatively scarce surveys in the field of neologisms and the complete lack of a large scale search approach, which could unveil their diverse and multifunctional inherent capacity, posits the goal of the present survey as one of many possible vistas for the overture of their expressive potential as a powerful factor for triggering the grotesque. The results of the survey confirm the hypothesis related to the existential and expressive dynamics of neologisms – as backed by way of a plethora of linguistic means – acting as the generator of numerous functions: ludic, spontaneous, ontological and epistemological, esoteric, ritualistic and magic, bewitching, prophetic, integrative, transcending and demiurgic, communicative and entertaining. ; The relatively scarce surveys in the field of neologisms and the complete lack of a large scale search approach, which could unveil their diverse and multifunctional inherent capacity, posits the goal of the present survey as one of many possible vistas for the overture of their expressive potential as a powerful factor for triggering the grotesque. RESEARCH PURPOSEThe aim of this study was an analysis of drafts of the new Constitution of the Republic of Poland prepared by the new generation of National Democrats [Polish: "Neoendecja" from the name of the political party Narodowa Demokracja - National Democracy - commonly referred to as "Endecja" from its abbreviation "ND"].RESEARCH PROBLEM AND METHODOLOGYThe research problem centres on the attitude towards the new basic law, which envisions the establishing and functioning of a nation state understood as a Polish Nation State. Texts penned by the representatives of the new generation of National Democrats, who formed political parties, have been used as source data for the purposes of the study. The source data, subsequently, has undergone qualitative analysis (including the procedure of thematic coding and categorising), as well as narrative inquiry.REASONING PROCESSThe article consists of two parts. The first provides information on the issue of the axiological order, which the aforementioned drafts of the Constitution guaranteed to introduce. Herein, the present-day adherents of National Democracy introduced a clear-cut hierarchy of what they believe are the fundamental values of the Polish Nation, and stressed the role of Catholicism for the integrity and identity of Poland. The second includes reflections on the constitutional order of a nation state. This concerns findings on the attitudes and activity of the main public administration bodies, the relations among them and their relations with the general public.RESEARCH ANALYSIS RESULTSThe studied drafts of the Constitution have shown many similarities, especially in matters related to the protection of human life, dignified employment, and social security of a family understood as foundation of the nation. Discrepancies regarding the vision for the preferred political system have been noted, as some drafts favoured the semi-presidential system, while others, the parliamentary cabinet form of government.CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATIONS, RECOMMENDATIONSThe new generation of National Democrats submitted innovative plans for reconstructing the foundations of a nation state. Such plans have the intent of popularising the national ideology, uniting the political parties formed by national circles, and stabilising the different factions present on the political scene: national liberals, national traditionalists, national peasantry representatives, all of whom have the common goal of building a Great Poland.
When we observe the social and political life in post-communist countries, we can also notice that generations of people born after the fall of communism are beginning to play an increasingly important role in shaping the views and political preferences of the whole society. Young people socialized in significantly different conditions than their parents' generation represent (in many areas) attitudes that indicate their "generational difference". The aim of the article is to describe and explain to what extent the assessments of systemic transformation in chosen post-communist countries are determined by the age of citizens. The author analyzes secondary data from surveys on public opinion in the following countries: Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Slovakia and Ukraine. In order to explain how young people perceive their position in relation to the older generation, which remembers the communist era, an appropriate case study was conducted. The study was conducted among students from six academic centers in Ukraine (Kyiv, Lviv, Nizhyn, Pereiaslav, Sumy, and Uzhhorod). It was found that the strength of the relationship between age and the perception of systemic change varies across countries. The deepest divisions between the older and younger generations were identified in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Bulgaria. It was also found that the young generation of contemporary Ukraine is trying to emphasize its own generational difference by creating its own political identity in opposition to the features attributed to older generations.
Upbringing is a lifelong process, one to which a person is subjected from birth to death. This process is based on an established system of values, which is first passed on to the child by the family, the immediate social environment. The ongoing socio-cultural, economic, political and demographic changes in Poland and the rest of the world indicate that the hierarchy of values of young people has changed over the years. It is essential that the generational transmission of traditional existential values is conducted through constructive intergenerational dialogue. This task should be implemented by both the family and social environment in which a young person exists. The institution of school is particularly important in this regard. In the article, the author presents her own way of implementing a multi-stage and multi-faceted senior project, integrating young people with different educational needs and the elderly from the local community in the spirit of Christian values. W artykule autorka prezentuje własny sposób realizacji w duchu wartości chrześcijańskich wieloetapowego i wieloaspektowego projektu o charakterze senioralnym, integrującego młodzież o różnych potrzebach edukacyjnych z osobami starszymi ze środowiska lokalnego.
