Media training since the early 1990s, the housing crisis faced by New Labour when it took power in 1997 once again pushed the urban agenda at the centre of the British political arena. The construction of more than 4 million dwellings is then deemed necessary to meet latent demand, and large cities continue to turn to suburbs. It is in this climate that Tony Blair appoints architect Richard Rogers as head of the Urban Task Force, who is responsible for sketching the country's future urban policies. Published in 1999, its rapport/1 is explicit: it is thanks to urban design that the country will make its cities attractive. If the government attaches so much importance to this criterion, it is that the projects of the last 30 years reflect more a cloning trend than a desire to encourage the emergence of new practices that would enable the "tensions between singularity and uniformity", between "originality and order", to be managed. ; Fortement médiatisée dès le début des années 1990, la crise du logement à laquelle est confronté le New Labour lorsqu'il accède au pouvoir en 1997 propulse une nouvelle fois l'agenda urbain sur le devant de la scène politique britannique. two decades after decollectivisation, land hyperconcentration remains a structural singularity of Central European agriculture. The article seeks to grasp the role of the institutions which have been able to encourage the conversion of large-scale exploitation, whether collective or state, into social forms of production preserving comparable dimensional characteristics. The extent to which the land is owned by many owners and its development is separated without hindering its exploitation in very large production units. Previously integrated into the collectivist organisation, land, labour and capital remained involved, at the initiative of the managers of macro-structures who managed to take control of ownership rights over the operating capital. David Shearer, Du consensus dispersé au désordre créatif: l'historiographie soviétique en Grande-Bretagne et en Amérique du Nord. Cet article étudie les changements survenus dans l'historiographie soviétique de Grande-Bretagne et d'Amérique du Nord depuis la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Pendant les premières décennies de la guerre froide qui suivit la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, l'opinion publique tout comme les travaux des historiens consacrés à l'Union Soviétique subissaient l'influence de chercheurs dont le travail se basait sur la philosophie politique du libéralisme du XIXe siècle et sur le positivisme historique. Ces chercheurs mettaient sur le même pied le socialisme soviétique et le national-socialisme allemand qu'ils présentaient comme les archétypes des dictatures totalitaires du xxe siècle. C'est le prétexte de totalitarisme, avancé par des intellectuels, qui a étayé la politique américaine de blocus de l'URSS pendant la guerre froide.
Dans les années 1970 et 1980, une nouvelle génération d'historiens mit en question les interprétations libérales de la guerre froide. Engendrée par l'histoire sociale et le radicalisme politique présent dans la profession et les universités, la critique révisionniste était étroitement liée à des traditions intellectuelles de gauche plus anciennes. Depuis la chute de l'Union Soviétique et la fin de la guerre froide au début des années 1990, de nouvelles formes d'histoire sont apparues dans le champ des études soviétiques, marquant le déclin de l'importance des interprétations libérale et révisionniste. De nouveaux courants historiques se sont formés sous une combinaison d'influences — la fin du socialisme soviétique, la révolution causée par l'accès aux archives de l'ех-URSS et particulièrement la révolution survenue dans l'interprétation et la méthodologie au sein de la profession des historiens. Cet article évalue l'effet de ces influences sur les nouvelles directions prises par la recherche historiographique sur l'Union Soviétique.

Trace the famous British debate on the French Revolution, to explore the meaning and analize the text of the Declaration of Human Rights 89, to show the different meanings that this text can take. Could the British look broaden our vision of French affairs, far from revolutionary whirlwind in which the declaration text becomes the sacred emblem of freedom and equality ? This is the challenge that we have tried to meet to discuss from different angles and thus reveal its plasticity. Because, although the scope of the Declaration seems indisputable, its content is subject to various interpretations. It is this ambiguity that is highlighted.Our protagonists are Richard Price, who provoked the rage of Edmund Burke ; in this violent discussion of principles and politics, we chose the defendants French affairs most relevant, namely Mary Wollstonecraft, Thomas Paine, James Mackintosh and Jeremy Bentham. We are identified the arguments from their political discourse, particularly around the Revolution, as reactivation as the social contract. Through this study, it is clear that the text itself founder of a new political era in France, may adopt different faces, depending on its observer.Indeed, the text of the Declaration of 89 is at once the subject of a dispute. And finally, it appears that this same plasticity of its text helped her transhistoricity and confirmed its universality to the present day – a universality, therefore, congenitally issue. ; En traçant le fameux débat britannique sur la Révolution française, nous explorons le sens et analysons le texte de la Déclaration des Droits de l'Homme de 89, pour faire apparaître les significations diverses que peut prendre ce texte. Le regard britannique pourrait-il finalement élargir notre vision des affaires françaises, loin du tourbillon révolutionnaire dans lequel le texte déclaratoire devient l'emblème sacré de la liberté et de l'égalité ? C'est le défi que nous avons tenté de relever, afin d'examiner celui-ci sous différents angles et dévoiler ainsi sa plasticité. Car, même si la portée de la Déclaration semble incontestable, sa teneur est susceptible de diverses interprétations. C'est cette équivocité qu'il s'agit de mettre en évidence.Nos protagonistes sont Richard Price, qui provoqua la rage de'Edmund Burke ; dans cette violente discussion de principes et de politique, nous avons choisi les défenseurs des affaires françaises les plus pertinents, à savoir Mary Wollstonecraft, Thomas Paine, James Mackintosh et Jeremy Bentham. Nous avons recensé les arguments issus de leurs discours politiques, notamment autour de la Révolution, en tant que réactivation du contrat social. Par cette étude, il apparaît clairement que le texte, lui-même fondateur d'une nouvelle ère politique en France, est susceptible d'adopter des différents visages, selon son observateur.En effet, le texte de la Déclaration de 89 fait d'emblée l'objet d'un litige. Et finalement, il apparaît que cette même plasticité du texte déclaratoire a contribué à sa transhistoricité et a confirmé son universalité jusqu'à nos jours – une universalité, donc, congénitalement litigieuse.
