"Article titled "Open Sesame" published by THE WASHINGTON D.C. TIMES on August 5, 1933. It is about Eduardo Everett Gann, who was legal representative of President Trujillo from the Dominican Republic and who has returned to active participation in the politics of the United States, since the Democrats have returned to office. Robert H. Murray sends to Fernando González Roa, Mexican Ambassador in Washington, a report about the negotiations attained by him along with Weeks in order to sell a manuscript to the Mexican government represented by Manuel Téllez. Said manuscript contains a lot of information on Henry Lane's activities as American Ambassador in Mexico concerning the overthrow of Madero from the Mexican government. Murray also negotiates with Alberto Mascareñas his position as representative of the Banco de México (Bank of Mexico) in New York, which is why they decide that all negotiations on the purchase of the manuscript will be done through the bank. Mascareñas informs Murray that his contract as representative of the Banco de México in New York was approved and that the salary he expects to get will cover the remaining payment for the manuscript. Murray ends the report complaining that he never got the salary he was offered for the position of representative of the Banco de México in New York, neither did he get the full payment for the manuscript he sold to the Mexican government. He also stated that the letters of complaint he mailed to Manuel Gómez Morin, Mascareñas, Agustín Rodríguez and Luis Montes de Oca did not get a favorable reply. Robert Hammond Murray asks for an appointment to Fernando Torreblanca, Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs. / Artículo titulado ""Open Sesame"" publicado en THE WASHINTON D.C.

Curriculum evaluation is a way to make judgments about the effectiveness of a curriculum. No matter how well the curricula are prepared, it is necessary to continuously evaluate the curricula in order to check whether they meet the needs of the society in which they are applied, and the evaluation results should be reflected in curriculum development studies. For this very reason, curriculum evaluation studies are of great importance. There are different curriculum evaluation models proposed in the literature, one of which is Hammond's evaluation model which is among objectives-oriented evaluation approach that focuses on the extent to which educational goals are achieved in a curriculum. In this study, it is aimed to introduce Hammond's evaluation model, which is one of the curriculum evaluation models but used in a limited number in the literature, thus contribute to the literature. Within this purpose, the conceptual framework of Hammond's evaluation model was explained, and the strengths and weaknesses of the model were revealed. As a result, Hammond's evaluation model can be used effectively in curriculum evaluation studies in which research areas require an in-depth examination, quantitative and qualitative data collection tools are used since it can be divided into smaller parts and adapted to the context. In addition, it is though that the use of Hammond's evaluation model in the evaluation studies of newly developed curricula will provide a more comprehensive framework for curriculum development studies.
