Der Aufsatz gibt einen Überblick über die Geschichte der pädagogischen Auseinandersetzung mit den spezifischen Bildungsaufgaben von Einwanderungsgesellschaften in Europa nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Betrachtet werden die Entwicklungen in den Bildungssystemen Englands, Frankreichs und (West-)Deutschlands. Berührt werden dabei Fragen des Theorie-Praxis-Verhältnisses, des Verhältnisses von sprachlicher und kultureller Bildung und der politischen Funktion pädagogischer Positionen. Der Aufsatz kommt zu der Aussage, daß die interkulturelle Pädagogik heute in allen drei betrachteten Bildungssystemen eine schwere Krise erleidet, die sie nur überstehen kann, falls es gelingt, ihre bisherigen Erkenntnisse in grundlegende Neuentwicklungen einzubringen. Die Exodus-Erzählung ist nicht nur die "große Erzählung" für die abendländische Befreiungsgeschichte, sie ist auch konstitutiv für die abendländische Pädagogik. Diese These wird in Hinblick auf das Verhältnis von Politik und Bildung in der kritischen Bildungstheorie Heydorns entfaltet. Durch die Unterscheidung zwischen politischer und pädagogisch-religiöser Lesart der Exodus-Erzählung ergeben sich Einsichten in die grundlegende Bedeutung der geschichtlichen Hoffnung für die pädagogische Praxis. Die Verheißung des Exodus als Ursprung der geschichtlichen Hoffnung bildet die Grundlage aller nicht-affirmativen Bildungstheorie im abendländischen Kulturraum. (DIPF/Orig.) ; The tale of the Exodus is not only the "great story" of the Occidental history of liberation, it is also a constituent element of Western educational theory. This thesis is evolved with regard to the relation of politics and education in H.-J. Heydorn's critical theory of education. By differentiating between an educational-religious interpretation of the Exodus story and a political reading, the author emphasizes the fundamental significance of historical hope for the educational practice. The promise of the Exodus as the origin of historical hope forms the basis for all nonaffirmative educational theories in Occidental culture. (DIPF/Orig.)

To the middle of XIX-th century the increased interest of a society to national
education problems stimulated transition from the state pedagogics to public. Main
currents in motherland humanistic pedagogics (abstract, practical and universal
humanism) were designated. Priority value is received by ideas of a humanisation of
national education, the primary goals of Russian national school are proved. In
sphere of national education find wide application and ideas of national pedagogics,
national education.

Archivische Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und historische Bildungsarbeit bieten Archiven ein geeignetes Tätigkeitsfeld, die interessierte Öffentlichkeit über archivische Aufgaben zu informieren und Geschichtswissen zu vermitteln. Daher engagieren sich Archive vermehrt im Bereich historischer Bildungs- und archivischer Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, wobei jedes Archiv mit den ihm zur Verfügung gestellten Mitteln versucht dies umzusetzen. Für kleinere Kommunalarchive ist dies meist schwieriger als für Staatsarchive. Archivische, wie auch jede andere Form von Öffentlichkeitsarbeit dienen der Eigenwerbung mit dem Zweck, Aufgabe und Funktion des Archivs in der Öffentlichkeit bekannt zu machen und zukünftige Nutzer zu werben. Historische Bildungsarbeit dagegen ist ein Teil archivischer Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, die das Ziel der Wissensvermittlung, vor allem von Geschichte, umfasst. Jedoch kann historische Bildungsarbeit auch als Teil der politischen Bildung gesehen werden, da sie ebenso zum Ziel hat, grundlegendes Wissen über Gesellschaft und Staat zu vermitteln.

Die Frage des Neubeginns pädagogischer Wissenschaft in Deutschland wird hier im Blick auf die gesellschaftliche Funktion von Wissenschaft gestellt und am Beispiel einer Teildisziplin, der Berufs- und Wirtschaftspädagogik (BWP), vorläufig beantwortet. Basis dafür sind die Berufsbiographien sowie die Theorie- und Wissensproduktion samt der Diskursform von 23 Hochschullehrern der BWP, dem vermutlich vollständigen Personenkorpus dieser Disziplin und der ersten Generation ihrer Vertreter in Westdeutschland nach 1945. Danach zeichnet sich die BWP durch personale Kontinuität, theoretische Homogenität und diskursive Selbstreferentialität aus und zeigt sich dieser Konstanz nach als ein geschlossener Wissenschaftsprozeß seit 1930 bis 1960. Der war freilich politisch offen; gesellschaftlich gesehen war und verhielt sich die Disziplin funktional. (DIPF/Orig.) ; The question of a new beginning of pedagogical science in Germany is considered from the perspective of the social function of science and is provisionally answered for one example, that of a subdiscipline-vocational pedagogics. The study is based on the professional biographies as well as the theory and knowledge production including the discourse form of 23 university teachers of vocational pedagogics, of probably the entire corpus of staff working in this discipline, and of the first generation of its representatives in West Germany after 1945. According to this material, vocational pedagogics is characterized by a continuity in personnel, theoretical homogeneity, and discursive self-referentiality, and it appears - due to this continuity - as a closed scientific process from 1930 to 1960. This was of course a politically open process; from the social perspective, the discipline was and acted functionally. (DIPF/Orig.)

Weil eine sozialwissenschaftliche Pädagogik in ihrer Entwicklung abgebrochen wurde, die dort schon seit Anfang des Jahrhunderts u.a. mit J. Ziehen begonnen hatte. The value of epistolary genre as an important source of studying the history of public, state, political idea, Ukrainian culture and history of development of the pedagogical opinion in different historical periods, in particular, the problems of study and education is revealed in the article. The ideas of the paternal pedagogics are grounded on the example of studying the letters of famous personalities, contribution of their authors to the development of the pedagogics, theory and practice of education and self-education. The attempt to prove that epistolary genre is an important source of historical-pedagogical researchesis done. ; У статті розкривається значення епістолярного жанру як важливого джерела вивчення історії суспільної, державної, політичної думки, української культури та історії розвитку педагогічної думки різних історичних періодів, зокрема, проблем навчання і виховання. На прикладі вивчення листів відомих особистостей розкриваються ідеї батьківської педагогіки, внесок їх авторів у розвиток педагогіки, теорії і практики виховання й самовиховання. The aim of this article is to explore the historical context of vocationalism in universities. It is based on an analysis of the history of the university from a vocational perspective. It looks for evidence of vocational engagement in the activities of universities over time, taking a long view from the birth of the Western University in the Middle Ages to the 1980s with the emergence of current issues of vocationalism in
university education. It adopts a chronological perspective initially and then a thematic one. The main ndings are: (1) vocationalism in university education is as old as the
Western University itself, (2) there is evidence from the start of the Western University of vocational engagement in terms of the provision of vocationally relevant subjects, vocationally relevant skills and the development of vocationally relevant attitudes, (3) whereas most graduate employers used to be concerned with the vocationally relevant knowledge, skills and attitudes students acquired on their degree courses, most are now
more concerned with graduate capacity and disposition to learn within their employment after graduation and (4) subject-centred education is compatible with university education that supports the vocational aspirations of students.

Eingangs beschreibt der Beitrag kurz den Träger des Archivs und seine Interviewbestände. Der POSOPA e.V. als Träger des Interviewarchivs ist eine kleine außeruniversitäre gemeinnützige Einrichtung, die eine Forschungsbibliothek und ein Spezialarchiv mit dem Schwerpunkt auf historischer Jugend- und Sozialisationsforschung unterhält, Forschungsprojekte an der Schnittstelle von qualitativer Sozialforschung, historischer Erziehungswissenschaft und Geschichtswissenschaft durchführt und Publikationen herausgibt. Das Interviewarchiv umfasst derzeit etwa 340 Interviews mit Persönlichkeiten, die in ihrer Jugend Jugendorganisationen oder -bewegungen angehörten oder im späteren Lebensalter in der Jugendarbeit oder der Jugendpolitik wirkten. Die Interviews entstanden seit Beginn der achtziger Jahre überwiegend im Kontext mehrerer Forschungsprojekte zu jugendgeschichtlichen Fragen. Dabei handelt es sich um narrative lebensgeschichtliche Interviews mit dem Focus auf der Jugendzeit der Interviewpartner. Die Berichtszeiträume reichen vom Kaiserreich bis in die neunziger Jahre. The POSOPA e.V. is a small non-profit organization, that has a specialized library for historical youth and socialization research. POSOPA e.V. also arranges interdisciplinary research touching on qualitative social research, historical pedagogics and historiography. Currently, the archives contains approximately 340 interviews with individuals, who were members of youth-organizations or were engaged in youth work or youth policy. The interviews were generated during various research projects since the early eighties. They were all carried out as narrative biographical interviews focused on the youth and adolescence period of the interviewees. Training future teachers of mathematics differed in different years. Each stage of training had its own peculiarities and characteristics.The article reviewed and analyzed on the basis of the scientific literature, how evolved mathematics education in schools and develop mathematical training of students of pedagogical universities in different periods, starting from the XII century. to the present.

Transnational education (TNE) is widely viewed as focussing on a new form of educational practice specific to the globalised world of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. This article explores the potential that a historical perspective can offer. Particular attention is due the political and societal context of colonialism. It focusses on the Deutsche Kolonialschule (German Colonial School) where young German men trained for a life overseas between 1898 and 1944. First, it gives a brief overview of the Kolonialschule's founding and development. The second part explores the various forms of cross-border networks and interconnections that it was part of. The third part analyses the intended types of education and training as well as the educational goals of the Kolonialschule. Fourth, a conclusion takes up the initial question looking at the potentials of a historical perspective on transnational education.

Ausgehend von Dieter Baackes Habilitationsschrift «Kommunikation und Kompetenz» (1972/1973) werden in diesem Artikel die Forschungsergebnisse eines Close Readings von Baackes Diskursbegründung der Medienpädagogik präsentiert, das seine Theoriebildung diskursanalytisch und wissenssoziologisch im Kontext ihrer zeitgeschichtlichen Entstehung analysiert. Besonderes Augenmerk wird dabei auf die Rollen und Funktionen gelegt, die Kybernetik, Systemtheorie und Gesellschaftskritik als historische Voraussetzungen in Baackes Begründung der Medienpädagogik übernommen haben. In diesem Zusammenhang wird vor allem die wissensgeschichtliche Rolle der «Homöostase» herausgearbeitet, die in der Kybernetik und/als Systemtheorie die Annahme stützt, ein System strebe aus sich selbst «autopoietisch» zu einem Gleichgewicht. Dem steht bei Baacke selbst die aus dem Marxismus kommende Annahme entgegen, dass das kapitalistische System gerade nicht auf ein Gleichgewicht zustrebt, sondern hochgradig krisenanfällig ist. Dies ist von eminenter Bedeutung, wenn im Rückgriff auf die dem Mai 1968 folgenden Debatten der frühen 1970er Jahre vor Augen geführt werden kann, dass sich auch heute noch die politische Frage stellt, ob Medienpädagogik als systemstabilisierende «Sozialtechnologie» (Luhmann) oder systemüberwindende «Kritische Theorie der Gesellschaft» (Habermas) zu begreifen ist. Dabei wird auch gezeigt, dass die heutigen Debatten zur «Medienkompetenz» schon bei Baacke archäologisch mit der Marxschen Philosophie der Praxis verbunden sind, weshalb dahingehend vorgeschlagen wird, Baackes Theoriebildung über Habermas und Bourdieu im Sinne einer praxeologischen und handlungsorientierten Medienpädagogik zu verbinden, in welcher die handelnden Akteure/innen gegenüber Systemen und Strukturen theoretisch und praktisch in ihr Recht gesetzt werden. ; Starting from Dieter Baacke's habilitation treatise «communication and competence» (1972/1973), the research results of a close reading of Baacke's founding of media education are presented in this article, which analyses his theory in the context of its contemporary historical origin in the framework of a discourse analysis as a sociology of knowledge. Particular attention is paid to the role and function of cybernetics, systems theory and social criticism as a historical condition of Baackes founding of media education. In this context, especially the specific role of the term «homeostasis» is worked out, which marks in cybernetics and systems theory the presumption, that any system tends «autopoietic» to an equilibrium. On the contrary Baacke himself refers to the Marxist assumption, that the capitalist system is not headed towards a balance, but is highly vulnerable to crises. This is of paramount importance, if we can show, that the debates of the early 1970s, following May 1968, raise the political question even today of whether media education is a system-stabilizing «social technology» (Luhmann) or a system-conquering «Critical theory of society» (Habermas). It is also shown that the current debates on «media literacy» go back to Baacke, who is archaeologically associated with the Marxian philosophy of praxis. The paper proposes to connect Baacke's theory with Habermas and Bourdieu in the terms of a «praxeological» and «action-oriented media education», which should theoretically and practically set in their right the «practices» of the «Actors» in opposition to systems and structures.

Die Fachgeschichte ist ein wesentliches Teilgebiet der Ausbildung zum Schulmusiklehrer. Zwar gehen die für Fachgeschichte zuständigen Hochschullehrer mit den Inhalten und dem Umfang ihrer Darstellung verschieden um; weitgehend stimmen sie jedoch darin überein, dass sie Fachgeschichte als chronologischen und systematischen Überblick anbieten, pointiert mit Namen von Personen und Institutionen, gegliedert durch historische Zeitabschnitte. Auch die Bedeutung und Funktion der Musikerziehung oder Musikpädagogik, des Gesang- oder Musikunterrichts in den jeweils behandelten gesellschaftlichen und politischen Zeitabschnitten und, umgekehrt, deren Einflüsse auf Musikerziehung und -unterricht, spielen eine unterschiedliche Rolle.
